  1. Same reason we can’t execute or prevent a screen play, I imagine.
  2. Just remember it was “only preseason” back in preseason.. but when we still look this bad in the regular season then what is it? 😂
  3. I mean we had plenty of games that looked like this with Diggs. His loss isn’t the issue at play here.
  4. Josh plays markedly better at home. We clearly don’t have a plan to get him in an early rhythm on the road. Everything been looking hard from the get go. Lot of missed opportunities for play action too.
  5. “The basketball “? jfc these referees…
  6. We quietly got better… Then loudly got much, much worse 😅
  7. It’s like clockwork that they both have one strong game early in the year, we think they’re about to emerge as a superstar, then they fade into the background with sporadic contributions. Neither of them is a bad player by any means, but also neither of them is a top shelf, takeover the game stud.
  8. Nowhere in my post did I do that. I agree, it was a full team effort to suck that badly. All three phases were in lockstep, lol.
  9. Brady failed because the play was blown up from the get-go, and neither Samuel nor Josh were coached up enough to recognize and abort the play. We hadn't run a direct snap all year, so running a trick/gadget out of that look was piss poor decision-making. You run a trick once people are biting on something you've set up by after running the look vanilla. You run a trick once your players are comfortable enough to execute to perfection, and can recognize when to abort. Brady's called some great games but he deserves all the flack for that idea. McDermott, too.
  10. Not even close to the same. Cardinals made plays against us, but this was a complete beat down. Josh has led comebacks before, but the team never seems to be able to rebound and pull it off when the chips are really down. We never close out the tough ones.
  11. But they also had many games where they got rocked, were down big and then showed some resilience and battled back to win. Every game we start like this, ends like this. It would be nice to overcome adversity once in a while.
  12. I mean it’s very likely to be both.
  13. I mean we haven’t run a direct snap all year. Shouldn’t we have put that on film before running a gadget out of it? Thats like cardinal sin levels of stupid.
  14. Biggest concern of the whole McDermott era is probably that when this team starts really poorly, they just never are able to rebound and win. The mistakes continue and compound, usually in embarrassing fashion. That’s a lack of mental toughness, and it’s been the same recurring story for years.
  15. That’s right up there with our fake punt in the playoffs. We are never prepared to execute a trick play, this one was disastrous.
  16. Announcers didn’t make anywhere near as big a deal out of that throw as they should have. That pass was insane.
  17. The difference is that when the Chiefs are down, their defense ramps up and starts playing faster and harder.
  18. Hey don’t try and down the ball before the end zone or anything lol No one on this team is even trying anymore..
  19. Maybe they’ll quietly get better before next game
  20. To be fair, most of the league looks not remotely good. We probably still win the division pretty easily, but if we couldn’t beat KC the last few years, I don’t see this team doing anything different .
  21. It’s like, I’m pretty sure there’s 11 players being fielded out there but… where are they? 😂
  22. Just clueless on defense, haha
  23. I might’ve declined that penalty, they’re picking up yards in chunks anyway..
  24. I mean this is kinda the defense a lot of us expected to start the season. We haven’t had any size/push up the middle, it’s just no one has taken advantage of it to this extent until now.
  25. Good thing we punted lol
