As a franchise they epitomize “just here for the paycheck.” From the owner to the coach and right down to the field.

Except it’s worse because now there’s 7 playoff spots which guarantees they’d be in even if they somehow flop the division. And at least the Pats had to contend with the Steelers, Ravens, Colts/Broncos (Peyton). In the AFC it’s only the Bills that are even a blip on the Chiefs’ radar.

Wow that was a horrible sequence of officiating, coaching, and execution. Especially coaching.

Chargers let KC keep it close and so are now well within the referee margin of influence. Even if they go up a score here, they’re cooked.

It’s crazy watching that George Kittle TD over the heads of 3 defensive players and then thinking that Josh Allen has been as good as he’s been these past years without a single player capable of doing something that ridiculous to make a play. Overrated, my ass.

The number of false starts they get in their “home” stadium is just outright embarrassing.

Having two top shelf coordinators who will never be poached away by another team along with an elite level QB is just too strong a formula for most of the league to contend with, sadly.

Punting LA into oblivion and hoping for Chris Jones to do his thing could very well get KC back into the game.

More concerned about the poor officiating. The mind wonders… if the Chiefs were out of challenges in that situation, would the league step in to force a review? 🤔

It’s a shame most of the NFL is so dysfunctionally owned and managed. All these young quarterbacks are being thrown to the wolves with crap teams and being asked to carry the load. It’s a recipe for failure. Meanwhile Darnold and Mayfield finally have solid situations and the benefit of experience and they’re completely different on the field now.

Fitzpatrick also had the misfortune of playing for Bills team that couldn't play defense to save their lives. He was a game manager who rarely (if ever) was given the opportunity to simply manage a game. Fitzmagic hero ball is certainly entertaining in its own way, but it's not conducive to sustained success by any means.

Random but fun stat I saw mentioned on a Jaguars blog: Trevor Lawrence managed to finish with the 4th best QB rating of the evening 😅 (Oh, and Josh's rating was higher than both Jags QB's... combined)

I know it’s garbage time and the play won’t matter, but NFL sky judge should have stepped in and corrected that call. Defender didn’t even put his hands on the receiver, it was an egregiously poor call. S—- like that shouldn’t stand, garbage time or not.
