  1. If by “our republic” you mean “our country’s corrupt political establishment and super PAC donor class,” then I’m in 100% agreement.
  2. Don’t worry if there’s a manifesto I’m sure the FBI will release it with 100% transparency.
  3. I mean Trump hasn't missed a good chance for a photo op in over 70+ years of his life, lol. He definitely wasn't going to miss this one. Say what you want about the guy, but that photo goes hard.
  4. There's radicalized people in every political/religious group, no doubt. But you've got to really love the taste of the kool aid to think the way radical / violent extremists on the left are treated, portrayed and punished is any way equivalent to those on the right. At least in the west. If you're at all a rational or objective person, the difference is obvious.
  5. Wasn’t this guy and Hunter Henry supposed to be the next Gronk / Hernandez or something? 😂
  6. Yo that’s 4d chess level of trolling, poor guy might never recover from something like that!
  7. Gotta be Peyton Manning. During the Drought Era I was always desperate for competent football by midseason and into the playoffs, so I’d watch the Colts/Broncos to get my fix and at his peak he was definitely something else.
  8. Even during his presumably good "bass-o-matic" years, he would routinely slice close to the crossbars or "doink" them in. Most fans took the stance of "if it counts, it counts" but just going by what my eyes saw I've never felt super comfortable when he lines up to kick. This past season he just stopped getting the close ones inside.
  9. Hey now — McDermott’s clapping has directly impacted this team’s success exponentially more than the rooster’s call impacts the rising of the sun. I mean, that’s just science. 🤓
  10. This is a succinct and accurate way to describe the Bills of the last several years. There’s been dozens of games we can directly attribute to an amazing play by Josh changing the tide or outright winning it. How many games spring to mind that McD did something unique to win it for us? Most of our big game highlights of the “did they execute“ variety are not all that encouraging.
  11. To be fair, the Dolphins might have the best WR room in the league and we laugh at them anyway. 😅
  12. This roster is a 2-4 win team this year without Allen. With cousins, it would be 4-8.
  13. You’re really going out on a limb huh? 😆
  14. There's another version of me in some alternate timeline where all of Jerry's "almost sacks" actually got home and brought the QB down. I'm a much happier person in that timeline.
  15. I mean Tua did make the Pro Bowl over Josh last year 😂
  16. I mean we've all seen it happen-- usually within the last two minutes of a game/half when the head coach can't "officially" challenge a call. I'm being facetious when I say it's "because" of the announcer's making a big deal about it-- but the NFL is certainly tuned into these broadcasts behind the scenes and if the TV crew is pointing out a bad call, it stands to reason they'd be more inclined to intervene, no? Or do the referees just get together on the field during two-minute breaks and muse amongst themselves whether they should be challenging their own calls?
  17. See but the thing is: as long as you have a timeout left you can call it and then wait for the announcers/ broadcast crews to start making a big stink about the call on the field. If it's a truly borderline play, then they'll probably just review it-- challenge or not. I mean unless you're the Bills and Collinsworth is on the announce crew that game. But otherwise, it's a valid move 😅
  18. At this point we've at least got to give some of the youth and dark horse FA's a chance to break out and see what they got. What's the point of having guys like Shorter and Isabel on the roster if we just scoop up a big name that's gonna bury them ever further on the depth chart? It's a transition year anyway -- not ideal to be here in this situation but it is what it is and if by any chance we DID hit on any of these guys, we got to at least give them a fair shot to find out.
  19. 100% If even one of Beane’s defensive picks was a DPOY type of player, a guy who can change the game even when the opposition does everything they can to take him out of it? Probably we’d at least have a trip to the dance by now, if not have won it all.
  20. This is obviously a rebuild and reset year. I’m not saying we should have swung for the fences, but did we add the right prospects to have the strongest chance at top-shelf production? That remains to be seen. This was a very McBeane draft, and to this point they’ve been great at adding JAG starters and tier 2 or tier 3 guys. Really the only truly elite player they’ve drafted is Allen. (It’s debatable but Tre might have been that guy too, if injuries didn’t derail his trajectory). If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll probably get what you’ve always got. I like this draft myself - in theory. But I’ve liked a lot of McBeane drafts in theory and ended up very underwhelmed with the results. 🤷‍♂️
  21. Not for nothing, but just about every draft pick in history was “promising” at one point in time, lol. Can’t say this lot is any more or less so in that regard, but I’ll give you that he definitely spread the love to multiple positions of need. See but that’s kinda the song that remains the same isn’t it?
  22. I thought about giving up alcohol this year for my New Year’s resolution. I can see now I was right to not do that.
  23. That’s certainly one of the signings of all time.
  24. And how’d that work out? Also, one guy who snags just 13% of your team’s offensive snaps isn’t much of a commitment to over the top speed. You disagree?
