    Been the story his whole career, even going back to the Packers. He’s had Rodgers, Mahomes and now Allen throwing him the ball. He certainly has not lacked for capable ball throwers.

    The fortunes of our two franchises have diverged so starkly over the last half a decade that I almost feel sorry for Jets fans. I mean… obviously I don’t. But I almost do.

    Josh Allen put on an absolute clinic this game. The receiver by committee just works for him, let him cook instead of having him key in on a diva all game. But the gaffes we saw are the same gaffes we’ve seen for years now. Procedural. Situational. Special teams. Doesn’t bode for a year that’s going to be any different than what we’re used to.

    Critical play with time running out on the play clock and we botch it. Situational football continues to be a major holdup for this team.

    Random thought but I miss having Isaiah McKenzie to go in motion/ take the jet sweep in the red zone. Those years it was virtually an automatic score once we were inside the 20. Now the red zone rides or dies almost entirely on Josh bulldozing his way in for the score.
