  1. You seems a little angry...
  2. Wow. They should probably be worrying about just getting to the playoffs. Really hard to believe this has anything to do with that. Why do it 5 weeks in advance? Have they signed practice squad guys from every single team they might face if they get there?
  3. I generally do not visit other message boards unless someone links to them. I did go out of my way this week to go to a Steelers board because I heard they were really down on their team and I was surprised to hear that. As far as my favorite team other than the Bills, there is a wide gulf, but I like the Colts alright and also the Saints. I liked Peyton Manning a lot, so I liked the Colts when he was there, and now they have Frank Reich. I like the Saints a little because I like Drew Brees, but I don't particularly like Sean Peyton or anything else about them.
  4. What about stretchy pants? Are those still fine?
  5. I actually knew the answer because I made fun of Wickersham already in another thread. That darn Wickersham. Always putting us down.
  6. Shouldn't we have waited until the Bills got a signature win?
  7. How can it be considered correct if the game has not been played yet? Did the Bills forfeit? Which one are you?
  8. Exactly. I think it already won't count because the Steelers have injuries.
  9. Metcalf for sure.
  10. What's with this new "signature win" metric being thrown around this year? Every time the team or Allen achieves something they come up with some new measuring stick? "Well, we can't talk about 300 yard games or even 400 yard games anymore, and they beat the Patriots so we can't ding them on that anymore, and Allen's completion percentage is 70% so we can't talk about that. And he doesn't run much anymore so we can't talk about that. And the defense isn't that good anymore so we can't say the defense is carrying Allen and the team anymore..." Literally every criticism has been answered this year. And so now we talk about signature wins? What about the Seattle win? What about the Rams? Those don't count because they happened earlier in the season? And when we beat the Steelers what's the next unattainable metric they will fall back on? And why do the Bills "need" a signature win, KeyShawn? Need it for what? Does that qualify you for the Superbowl? Do they count as 2? They literally find any way possible to discredit Allen and the Bills. It's pretty hilarious at this point. The vast majority of "experts" are on the Bills side, but I guess there are still a few clowns out there.
  11. I don't think a contender would want him.
  12. I was not concerned with going with Bass or Bojo in the off season. That was exactly the approach I had. Both guys are young and can kick it a mile. They'll have bad plays because they are young and inexperienced. But keep developing them and see what you get. That's the approach I took. Bojo still scares me sometimes because when he has a bad one, it is REALLY bad. But he has definately been a lot better this year. Glad we have a coaching staff that is devoted to developing players. There are definitely some coaches out there who don't.
  13. The Browns are one of those teams that can suck one week but be the best team in the league the next. It's part of the reason I don't prefer to face them in the playoffs. They could just go off and beat anyone. But the most likely outcome is for them to struggle and have everyone questioning whether or not they are actually a good team.
  14. But never PFF. They will stick to their guns. "Yeah, he completed the 99 yard throw for a TD to himself, but if the defender had wings he could have flown up and intercepted it. That's an interceptable ball."
  15. Just throwing out probabilities, huh? I say there is a 62.5% chance of that happening. Beat that!
  16. No. It's pretty obvious that the offense is at its best when Brown is on the field.
  17. They stated that Allen was 6 of 6 on throws over 20 yards or more and that was the most completions of 20 yards or more in a game this season for a QB. That's pretty impressive.
  18. Well, with a name like Wickersham...
  19. If they really wanted to do it better they would need to have like 15 (or as many as they possibly can) of their analysts all grade each play and then take the average of all of them. Hopefully that would eliminate some bias and also the nuanced differences in how each individual is grading. I'm not totally sure how they do it, though. It would be a lot of work to grade every single play from every single player. They'd need a huge staff. How many people do they employ? And they do this for college games too, right? I just don't know how they could do it well without a huge staff.
  20. Most of those guys had big games. So it's not super crazy. But it's safe to say that Allen's games are viewed with more scepticism from PFF than others, for some reason. Rodgers could make a throw into triple coverage for an amazing completion and they would say "wow, what a play! He put it where only his receiver could get it!" but if Allen would do that they'd say "that ball was interceptable. He's lucky the receiver caught it!" These numbers they come up with are just visual representations of their opinions after watching a play. They aren't even real numbers. They don't mean anything. They are trying to turn qualitative data into quantitative data. It's not real.
  21. Game of the season, right here.
  22. Took me a minute to remember who that was.
  23. I never said that, but there have been multiple posters talking about how bad the Steelers are, how easy their schedule has been, and how easily the Bills will handle them, predicting essentially a blowout. The Bills ARE the ones that need to overcome. They are facing a 1 loss team. Fans who take the Steelers lightly may be disappointed. Of course, McDermott will have his team ready and motivated. No doubt about it. But I guarantee you he doesn't view this game as a cakewalk like some fans here do. I expect the Bills to win, but I am not taking the Steelers lightly like some fans here.
  24. Rodgers and Mahomes are the clear frontrunners. Allen is the dark horse. A few things need to happen for him to get it: 1) Bills need to win out 2) Allen needs to not throw another INT 4) Allen needs to average 275 yards passing over the next 4 games 5) Allen needs to average 2.5 passing TD's over the next 4 games This would give Allen 4,500 yards passing, 36 passing TD's, and the Bills would be 13-3. That might do it. But Mahomes is on track for 5,000 yards and 38 TD's. Rodgers is on pace for 4,500 yards and 44 TD's. Both of those guys will need to slip a little.
  25. And why would anyone want to see Brady in another Superbowl? I want to see him sitting on the couch for the playoffs. I'd be afraid our players would get murdered (literally). The blond haired, blue eyed ones should be fine, though...
