  1. His combined 9 tackles for Seattle really moved the needle for them. On and off the practice squad and then a healthy scratch week 16. He is washed up.
  2. QB, FB, K, P, LS And I personally don't think they'll draft another running back, but it is certainly a possibility.
  3. If there is a fan base that should be convinced that Allen is a franchise QB, it should be Dolphins fans. Allen has destroyed that team routinely since entering the league. Heck, they should be more convinced than Bills fans. Against the Dolphins Allen is 5-1, and has scored 20 TD's and thrown 4 INT's. He owns them.
  4. The focus has been on the offense since Beane has been here. Very little has been done on the defense apart from bringing in depth. Beane did bring in some guys on the dline last year with mixed results, but that's basically all. Dane Jackson, a 7th rounder, looks to be a steal. I think AJ Epenesa could be good. Who exactly are you so disappointed in on the defense?
  5. Millennials are all in their late 20's and 30's. These are the post-millenials.
  6. Well, I've noticed that it is the famous person who always gets the benefit of the doubt. It's always a money grab. These snap judgements are pretty dang predictable.
  7. McDermott trusts his coaches. I'm sure the level of aggressiveness resulted just as much from Frazier and Daboll as it did from McDermott.
  8. You mean, without having any facts at all? I just don't get why people allow themselves to make snap judgements like this. Just wait for some information.
  9. Totally agree. I am so glad we have not signed him or traded for him the last few years he has been available and fans have been wanting him.
  10. One of the most overrated players in recent memory. He hasn't been relevant in years.
  11. Do you mean Frazier? He calls the defense.
  12. Maybe if it was like hockey and you could get drafted as an 18 year old... But otherwise, I think the system is fine how it is.
  13. Memorable isn't always a good thing, especially when you are a pro athlete with a constant camera on you and everyone looking for you to screw up.
  14. Seriously. One of the dumbest comments I've ever heard regarding Josh Allen. He helped the Bills go to the playoffs his 2nd year. He showed flashes of what he could do in every single game he ever played those first two years. So idiotic. Anyone who says that didn't watch him play.
  15. That might be a disincentive at this point...
  16. I guess that means that Pats fans are the most dishonest fan base. They had the least amount of binge drinkers.
  17. It's a survey of about 1,600 fans. That's only, like, 50 fans per team. So it's an incredibly small sample size to be splitting 32 ways.
  18. I do think he will be on the team and a significant contributor.
  19. I would suggest reading the rule. The important part is coming back towards your own end zone. Ford did that. The only argument is whether or not his hit was "forcible" contact or not. The word forcible implies "vigorous or strong". It wasn't a big hit, but Ford did thrust forward, leading with his shoulder, and almost left the ground with the force of his contact. The defender was able to defend himself and counter the momentum pretty well, which is partly why the hit did not seem like much, in my opinion. I thought it was a good call at the time, albeit ticky-tack.
  20. Well, I agree with you for the most part. I think it was dumb of Ford to do that. All he has to do is extend his arms and push the guy. Or even just run and try to get in the way. I felt like it was consistently called within the definition of the rule, albeit a ticky-tack call. I see the point of some people who say it wasn't "forcible" contact, but that's too much of a gray area to expect the officials to say one thing is forcible and one thing is not.
  21. Of course they are. Eventually they'll be pushing for virtual games, too. Just have both teams login and play Madden. Players safety, you know.
  22. I don't see why anyone needs to worry. Our defense was not bad last year, especially as the season progressed. It was an average defense that played like a top 10 defense late in the year. I think people are a little spoiled at having a top 5 defense for so long. I don't like his lack of mobility and explosiveness. His 40 time and 3 cone drill were really disappointing.
  23. Based on what? If he is a top 10 nickel corner, why did McDermott bench him? I totally agree that you can do worse than Taron Johnson. If we go with him in 2021 I will not be shocked or disappointed. But he is just an average player. I don't see how anyone could think he is top 10 at his position. He makes plays sometimes. He gets beat fairly often. An upgrade would be nice at some point.
  24. If they had every crime on the news from the general population you could read until your eyes fall out and not even scratch the surface. You hear about NFL players because they are famous and the stories get clicks. But they do not commit more crimes than normal. In fact, they commit less than normal. Look up thread at the actual rates. NFL players are well behaved for the most part. It is a shame that a few bad apples seem to spoil the entire bunch just because people make assumptions based on a few, isolated incidences.
  25. You beat me to it. My thoughts exactly. I actually like Taron Johnson, but he is totally replaceable and an upgrade there would help this defense a ton.
