  1. Maybe opening week. Man would it be awesome to beat the champs opening week and signal to the rest of the NFL that the Bills are hellbent on getting to the Superbowl.
  2. What a sickening thought.
  3. They all looked legitimate to me.
  4. I think it should have been Fournette.
  5. He doesn't need to be the best QB in the league. That would be great, for sure, but if he can maintain top 5, that's good enough to win some Superbowls. Aaron Rodgers has been one of the best, if not THE best, QB's in the league for much of his career. He almost never makes it to the Superbowl.
  6. He is too old...
  7. I actually went into the game planning on rooting against Tom Brady, but found myself rooting against the Chiefs against my better judgement. Not happy to see Brady with another ring, but I'm also not broken up to see the Chiefs taken down so badly.
  8. I mean, he was running behind the receiver and his incidental contact was with the receiver's feet, causing the receiver to trip. It doesn't really matter if he meant it. He tripped the receiver. The only thing that can be brought up is whether or not the ball was catchable, because it was quite a bit overthrown, if I recall.
  9. Absolutely, and it is frustrating that the Bills don't have enough clout to get those calls from the refs, because the same thing happened all game long against the Bills. But I guess Brady is still the top dog in the mind of the refs.
  10. Maybe Darnold will be holding a clip board for him...
  11. Ok. I guess it was opening kickoff then, for me.
  12. They got beat on all phases, though. Penalties only played a small part. Their offense only scored 9 points.
  13. Sign him in the off season. Gauarenteed Superbowl.
  14. It had Jeeps every few seconds. Subliminal advertising. And then obviously at the end there was plenty to Jeep advertising. I just don't like the double agenda. Call for unity and all that if you want, but don't try to sell me a Jeep at the same time.
  15. After that blood bath, no. I do not think the Bills would have won it. And I agree about the officiating. They decided to call those calls when the Chiefs are facing Brady, but let everything slide. Sea to me like the NFL wanted a Brady vs Mahomes Superbowl. That being said, the Bills did not lose that game because of officiating. Kelce and Hill murdered them.
  16. You liked the Jeep one? I thought it was pretty lame. Like, if you want to preach to us don't try to sell us Jeeps at the same time.
  17. Clowney did nothing in his 8 games he played this year. He is not the answer.
  18. He is clearly, far and away, the GOAT. Nobody is seriously trying to dispute this anymore, are they? You don't have to like him. You don't even have to respect him. But he is the GOAT. It's just a fact. Pointing to poor play when he is in his mid 40's is silly. Of course he isn't as good as he used to be.
  19. Regardless of how YOU feel about it, it is, in fact, a very common tactic to attempt to have rookies QB's sit their first year or at least multiple games of their first year. Maybe you don't like that. But that's not relevant. Lots of coaches do that. Mahomes sat his entire first year. Coaches often try to bring along rookie QB's slowly, even those drafted in the top 10. The plan was for Allen to sit as long as possible. And it soon became apparent that such a tactic would not be viable.
  20. Your complaint is giving him a contract thinking that he was a 3rd string QB. But he wasn't signed to be a 3rd string QB. That is alternate reality conceived in your mind with no basis in fact. He was signed to compete to start. That's a fact. Regardless of how he performed after signing the contract, he was initially signed to compete for a starting job. And Allen was supposed to sit and learn, which is a very common approach when drafting a QB.
  21. You do realize that the rate of arrest is actually lower in the NFL than the general population, right (for players, at least, and most likely coaches too)? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-nfl-arrests-study-idUSKCN0QU2EL20150825 https://www.cnn.com/2015/08/26/us/nfl-players-arrests-study/index.html Not saying that the NFL is full of angels, but we only hear about these things because of intense scrutiny. It overshadows all the players and coaches who don't have these issues.
  22. Nope. Everything I said was accurate. You are the one trying to change history with your alternate reality. But keep laughing. I'm happy for you.
  23. Ok, but this situation doesn't really have anything to do with the NFL. This kind of thing happens all the time to people outside the NFL. People driving impaired is a part of life. They are selfish and stupid. The fact that this particular selfish and stupid person happens to work in the NFL is not relevant to me. If he worked for Burger King we wouldn't even know about this incident.
  24. This is a strange thing to cry about. But go ahead. Keep crying about a few million dollars spent trying to find a bridge QB 3 years ago. You usually complain about everything, so this is normal behavior.
