Fights in the stands during Wild Card Game? WTF?
MJS replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if they should just not allow alcohol for these COVID restricted games. No need to throw things at me... -
I got fired because I didn't want to work when the bills were playing

I mean, could you not have just called in "sick"? -

Makes sense. Not showing up for work can get you fired.- 134 replies

If you have to announce that you are sticking with your head coach and GM, that's a bad sign.

Anonymous Dolphins players: not sold on Tua
MJS replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because they had a better QB on the roster. Players want to win and if they feel like the organization is committing to anything other than winning, they get annoyed. Fitzpatrick CLEARLY was the QB who gave them the best chance to win this year. No, because Allen was the best QB on the roster. Playing him gave them the best chance to win. If they would have stuck with Peterman, the players would have had similar complaints. -
Ed Oliver tells Allen "Hold My Beer"
MJS replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just don't catch on fire. -
He has 27 caries as a bill. 14 receptions.
-
He has a total of 2 fumbles as a Bill. Want to guess how many Singletary has? He is not eligible to be on the 53 man roster. Everybody should know this by now.

I just don't get this sentiment. Everyone in the entire NFL, every team, player, coach, etc. gets beat on individual plays. ALL the time. That's football. You just have to try to win more plays than you get beat on. It is impossible for a player or team to win every single down, or every single drive. It just doesn't happen. Even in games where you blow out the other team, the other team still wins some downs. That's why it doesn't make sense to criticize players for individual plays taken out of context. This is what people do with Josh Allen all the time. They say "look at this one bad play right here" and they try to use the one bad play to discredit the rest of his good plays, even ignore when he throws for 75% completion percentage, over 300 yards passing, and scores 3 TD's with no INT's. You have to evaluate individual plays within the larger framework and within context. And if a player got beat, you have to consider, is this player getting beat a lot? Is he also winning his fair share of matchups? Is he getting beat when it matters most? Is this a trend? I think especially guys like Taron Johnson and Levi Wallace (even All-Pro Tre White) get unfairly criticized all the time because of the nature of their position and because people remember one or two plays and disregard the rest.

Josh Allen highest AV for QBs in 2020 and 2nd highest in NFL
MJS replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So MVP voting has already happened, correct? It just gets announced later? Allen is highest among AV as well as 538's ELO metric among QB's. That right there shows me he should at least garner some votes. But we'll see... -
Bills vs. Ravens Week 14 December 8, 2019 Good Recap Video
MJS replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's true. I'm sure they both remember getting abused by them two seasons ago, and they couldn't get the job done last season despite a good game plan to stop Jackson. They should be hungrier than anyone to beat the Ravens. -
Bills vs. Ravens Week 14 December 8, 2019 Good Recap Video
MJS replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The two things I remember from this game were our offensive line struggling and our receivers getting mugged all day without the officials calling anything. Luckily we have a couple more receivers who can play a little stronger in Diggs and Davis. And Allen is better. I don't see why the Ravens will play it differently. I'm sure they will be trying to mug our receivers again. -
Josh Allen only trails Mahomes and Murray in QB ELO Rating
MJS replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure if this was reported anywhere, but Allen finished with the highest ELO Rating in the NFL. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nfl-predictions/quarterbacks/ -
[Incomplete Title] If the Bills get to the superbowl and lose...
MJS replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be a let down, but that would be an amazing season. We should all have confidence of the Bills getting back and wining one. But I think whoever gets through to the Superbowl from the AFC will be the team to win. I don't think the NFC is nearly as strong. -
Roberts inactive this week is my prediction...
MJS replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zero chance of this. -
Baltimore has a let down after putting it all on the line last week, but they come alive in the 4th quarter and tie things up to take things to overtime. Baltimore gets the ball but the defense stops them. Allen marches down the field for TD and the win. Bills - 37 Ravens - 31 Lame. I guess he's not very objective.

Leslie Frazier interviewing for Texans job

That's the nature of the rule, unfortunately. Since it exists, it places doubt in people's minds. If there was no rule, nobody would doubt the legitimacy of an interview. -

Which HC Job, If Any, Does Brian Daboll Get?
MJS replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I haven't heard talked about much is if Daboll leaves he is going to try to take some of his staff with him. So maybe Dorsey follows him and becomes HIS offensive coordinator. -
Oh, I thought he was on the practice squad.
