  1. The Chiefs are going to win. It probably won't be that close.
  2. That's the hope. Allen can progress more. Daboll has to show he can fix the running schemes and not only the passing schemes. They can add more talent on offense and defense. My concern is dealing with the Chiefs offense. That's not so simple. They are one of the best offenses I have ever seen. They have weapons that are demoralizing. The combination of Kelce, Hill, Mahomes, and Andy Reid is deadly. I think the key is pressuring Mahomes and preventing him from getting the ball into the hands of those playmakers. So on defense they need to get a big time pass rusher who can dominate. That's not likely unless they somehow trade for one. I think the Bills can be really good, but the Chiefs are a dynasty. It sucks they had to come around at the same time the Bills got good. But that's just the reality. But let's see how the Bills answer next year. They are going to be pissed and on a mission.
  3. When they brought pressure they got burned. When they dropped into coverage they got burned. What would have them do? They got beat by a really good team.
  4. An elite edge rusher would be nice.
  5. Whelp. It was a good season. Nice run. Hopefully the Bills come back angry next year and put together another run.
  6. Let's hope some halftime adjustments are made...
  7. Every game I have watched of him this year I have seen EASY dropped interceptions. Kind of blew my mind.
  8. Yeah. I'm thinking he is a tad bit unqualified, but that's just me...
  9. Josh Allen and Tre White were both concussed and played the very next week. Happens all the time.
  10. Haha. I love that they included Bill Belichick breaking the phone in that hype video.
  11. Well, "some in the league" disagree with you.
  12. I think Tampa Bay is significantly less impressive than the other three. But that's just me. They lost to the Bears and had some near misses against some other lackluster teams.
  13. That may be true or it may not. Regardless, Mahomes is in Stage 4 because he practiced Wednesday. So in this instance he has been on the same trajectory as Allen was with his concussion. And Tre White when he entered the protocol after getting elbow dropped by Gronk a few years ago. Tre played the next game. I'm personally not sure why some people are thinking this is a conspiracy. Players get through the protocol in one week all the time. Many don't, for sure, but many do.
  14. That's not how the brain works. Each concussion is completely unique and cannot be compared to each other. And regardless, Mahomes may have ALSO have the pinched nerve thing contributing to everything. And even if it was more severe, that doesn't mean that he can't recover quickly from it. Each recovery is different.
  15. I'm guessing you talked about finally getting a real coach when you hired Gase as well.
  16. I'm not sure that matters, though. It comes down to getting back to your baseline stats. And Allen is a tough SOB.
  17. Allen got knocked out of the Patriots game his second season with a concussion and was practicing by Wednesday a couple days later and he played the next game. Mahomes is in the concussion protocol. People can say whatever they want about the injury, but it is a fact that he is in the protocol. And it appears he is in stage 4. He will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist. And if he plays, that means he was cleared. And there are countless examples of players who played the next week after a concussion. If he practiced Wednesday he was in stage 4 already. If it's one per day that means he had to pass stage 1 on Sunday and be on stage 2 already by Monday. I'm not sure how it works, but that does seem plausible.
  18. Someone should have told Saban how horrible our offensive line was when he was here. The line was much better before he got here and then quickly got better after he left, with some of the same guys on the line through it all. My biggest issue with him was not that he opted out and left (I was happy about that) but that the TWO things he was supposed to bring to this team, good oline coaching and good offense, were the two biggest weaknesses of the team. Plus he just seemed like an idiot.
  19. Heck yeah! I'm certain the Bills players have seen this and are getting angry already. This will motivate them. They'll also see all the experts picking the Chiefs to win. The closer the game gets, the more confident I'm getting that the Bills will win. It's a strange, irrational feeling I'm not used to, but they are the team of destiny, after all.
  20. For sure he has used it less. It's also to create mismatches in coverage (getting a LB on a WR, for instance), cause deception, and to help playmakers gain speed before the snap.
  21. Because Marrone isn't qualified to be a coordinator. And yet he somehow became an NFL head coach...
