BARNBURNER ALERT - Commanders @ Bears TNF
MJS replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait, didn't Rivera throw Wentz under the bus just a few days ago? -

I thought there was something fishy about Tyreek Hill doing something to supposedly help the team... -
Has there been any recent updates on Kim Pegula?

It's not an intrusion on anyone's privacy to post on TBD asking if there have been any updates about her.- 77 replies

James Cook Ad on IG: Bahaha Diggs, Davis, and others comments

It's a very common product for men of all races (at least the ones who can grow beards). And, in fact, here is a DUCK DYNASTY beard kit being sold online that includes beard oil: https://www.wild-willies.com/products/willies-essential-kit -
Hockey is so much better live than on TV. I think that's the only sport I really feel like that about. I enjoy going to football or basketball games, but the TV broadcast gives different angles, gives you replays and analysis, etc.

Diggs is just the best. What a great player we have, and it is so awesome that him and Allen have such a great connection on and off the field.

You can easily chip the balls, but that's only a very small part of the problem. You'd have to chip every inch of every player as well, to know if any part of their body was down before crossing the goal line, or whether they actually got two feet in bounds (while also maintaining control). It just isn't really feasible with football. Spotting the ball is not that big of an issue. The bigger issue has to do with player's bodies in relation to the field, their possession of the football, etc. Spotting the ball is the easiest part of the equation.

Is Dan Snyder blackmailing the NFL and it’s owners?

Come on. He said "There is a rumor floating around town". What more evidence could you possibly need? -
Probably a dumb thing to say in this day and age, but to be honest ... ... I loved it.

Allen is liking the left side of the field and other interesting charts

Does it show how many throws are in each category? That would be interesting to see. -
Please don't have refs play a role on Sunday

How about just throw the flag when they see a rule being broken and don't when there isn't? If a player breaks a rule, they deserve to have a flag thrown on them. Consistency is key, though. The rules need to be officiated consistently from play to play, team to team, game to game, and from crew to crew. -
That's right. I think it's a little different how that went down versus coaches that do it mid-season as a punishment.
-
Do you mean Tomlin? I remember he did something similar awhile ago. Has McDermott ever done that? That seems like a Marrone thing to do. He probably burned them in a field while forcing the players to watch.
-
Tre is not a good tackler. He'd have to show an increased ability to tackle if he could ever transition to safety.

Davonte Adams should be suspended a game

Injuries are secondary to assault. If someone assaults you, they deserve the repercussions. -
Let's keep the proven all-pro CB. Benford and Elam have been good, but we need guys with proven experience, especially experience in the playoffs and in big games. The best players need to play. We aren't in "Let's develop our young guys" mode, we are in "Let's win the superbowl" mode. Also, the young guys need as much time with Tre White as possible, because just them watching him, spending time in meetings with him, or receiving instruction from him will help their development.

Coach55's Parity Calculator - Predictive index/Power Rankings
MJS replied to Coach55's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nice work. Seems interesting. I guess I would want to see other stats incorporated. The score is one thing, but it doesn't tell the whole story. 3rd down proficiency would be a big one. Explosive plays. Lots of other stats. -
It's good that they don't alter the formula. It makes it simple and predictable. It makes it impossible to favor one team over another (the order can do this somewhat, though).
-
Yes. It has been properly explained multiple times in this very thread, not to mention the countless times since the schedule came out. It is pretty simple.
-
They played here in 2020. It won't be a shock.
-
And that's what I answered. It is rotational where you play based on those things as well.
-
You play teams on a divisional rotation and due to divisional rankings. There is no conspiracy. It's just how things worked out. KC came to Buffalo in 2020. BTW, we play in KC next year too.
-
Did analytics ACTUALLY say that was the right move? I didn't actually see anything, just people saying it because that's what they always claim for all 2-point conversions.

4th down and Carr throws the ball to the moon. Really smart there, Carr.
