  1. Doesn't matter. That's a small sample size and has no bearing on the future at all.
  2. I think McDermott needs to probably fire Frazier and allow another defensive coordinator to come in and mix things up. Our defense is stale and requires perfect play from every position to be effective. It just seems like there is no room for error. Change the scheme to allow more high-risk, high-reward play. Scheme up tons of pressure. Do something different. If McDermott is not willing to change the defense up, I could be convinced that he needs to be replaced in time. I am a McDermott supporter. He makes good decisions on game day (apart from challenges) and is always aligned with analytics. He is a good leader and motivator. I'd like to see him focus on that and allow a defensive coordinator to come in and change the defense. Eventually, though, McDermott will need to be replaced if we can't get over the hump. On offense we need a better oline and more playmakers. It's up to Beane to get it done in the off-season and it's up to Dorsey to make the changes in the scheme needed to make it all work. He better be watching lots of KC and Cincy film to see how they are constantly able to scheme their playmakers open and implementing those concepts into our offense. And he better start FORCING Josh to take the quick throws. Enough backyard football, already. Execute an NFL offense. Take freedom away from the receivers and Allen and force those guys to run a scheme.
  3. I mean, they'll be good as long as Burrow is there, with some up and down years. Things change from year to year, though. They look really good this year, but just a few puzzle pieces changing each year could make things worse for them, just like it is for the Bills. The Chiefs aren't as good as they were a couple of years ago, but they have a chance each year too. Having a top 5 QB gives you a shot each year.
  4. Come on. That's just ridiculous.
  5. Yes. This is what I came away with. The Bills need better players. Or at least they need one or two more dominant play makers. The oline and dline especially. The Bengals play in a very physically demanding division. I watched them play the Ravens last week and that worried me. I saw how physical they had to be to get the win. The Bills are not like that.
  6. That would be a career killing move.
  7. I'd like to see Chris Colinsworth wrestle an alligator (with the volume down, of course).
  8. Romo isn't biased. He is just annoying. Not sure why Bills fans have been complaining about him being biased.
  9. All of the Collinsworth defenders are about to swoop in. It isn't just Bills fans that hate him. Fans from every fanbase, including KC, complain about him. True, he has a lot of supporters as well. Fans are very split on him.
  10. Wait, so if McDermott and the Bills don't win the superbowl this year they will never win it? Why, exactly?
  11. Dang. What's wrong with you? It's just a game.
  12. They said that on the broadcast too. Everyone took that comment and ran with it. At best, though, Brown would have been able to break up the pass for an incompletion. The defender was always in good position, and Brown is a smaller receiver, so I always thought it was more on Allen than Brown. John Brown is not a guy to throw 50/50 balls too. You throw it to him after he smokes the defender and he is open.
  13. What?! I was told McDermott was holding the team back and that we should fire him.
  14. Getting another mediocre team to a mediocre result is not coach of the year material.
  15. Tomlin? Why?
  16. Actually you can. The solution in this instance is to check it down when you should and take deep shots when you should. When Allen is willing to take the short stuff, he is unstoppable.
  17. It would be funny to play New England in England.
  18. Not only that, he was the ONLY exciting thing about the Bills for a good stretch of time. I don't know why any Bills fan would hate McCoy. Yes, I get that his personality might rub some the wrong way, but he came to Buffalo and just put his head down and worked his butt off. He gave everything he had on Sundays.
  19. He was a good teammate and never did anything but play hard every time he stepped on the field. I expected him to come here and be a distraction, but he just wasn't.
  20. I give the Bills the edge because they are at home and a pretty battle hardened team. I'm not really that confident, but I think the Bills will pull it off.
  21. True, but he used to NEVER turn the ball over in the red zone. That changed this year. Those ones seem to hurt a lot worse.
  22. That's so awesome. Love it. I think coaches are trying to adjust throughout the game, but they actually have a few minutes to sit down and think through things (separate from the players) and perhaps decide on a few things to try during halftime.
  23. I was going to say that. That's the only reason I can think of why they have been using it so much.
  24. I already respect what that scum bag has done, outside of the scandals. No change for me.
  25. It seems like fans are demanding perfection. Teams are going to get plays against our team sometimes. The rules are designed to allow offenses to make plays against defenses. It's just how it is. Go watch other teams play and pretend you are a fan of either team. You'll see the same type of stuff regardless of what team you watch, although most are worse than the Bills.
