  1. Yeah, we don't have that kind of player. But we've seen Ed Oliver's snap percentage increase as he has gotten better and better. I would assume that if we had an elite guy, he'd get pretty high snaps too.
  2. Most dlines rotate in the NFL. People who think the Bills are unique by rotating just don't understand how common it is. Not saying that is you, but I see a lot of people complaining about the dline rotation. I agree. And all it takes is for Watt or Garrett to get injured and miss some weeks, and then it really opens it up.
  3. I'm not scared of Tua, but he is good. Not great, but good. I'd rather the Dolphins not sign him and then see them struggle to find another QB for a few years. Even if they find another good QB, it will take 2 or 3 years for him to develop, and then there is no guarantee he is better than Tua. Chances are he'll be worse. So, I'd rather see a QB carousel in Miami, honestly. Finding an elite QB is extremely hard to do. That's why they have to pay Tua, because even though he isn't elite, he is good, and the alternative is far too risky.
  4. You'll be proven wrong. Like always.
  5. I like them. Fun. I think it is great to give homage to the history of the game.
  6. He usually owns up to his bad takes, though. He has talked over and over about how he was wrong about Bernard (as was pretty much everyone) and that Bernard makes splash plays while Edmunds did not. He also has good takes that are sometimes unpopular. For instance, he was a Gabe Davis critic way before that was popular. He believed in Spencer Brown when most everyone wanted to replace him, then Brown went out and had a good season and was pretty solid all year long. His job is to give his opinion about every single player all the time, so he is going to have misses.
  7. Just bought tickets to the Houston game! I'll take my son to his first NFL game.
  8. Today's "I had a random idea. Hear me out" thread. Nice.
  9. Almost everyone already pays for that, though. It has use outside of entertainment and football.
  10. I might try to get to Houston. That's only a 4 hour drive for me.
  11. All the complaining is becoming insufferable. And what's more, the complainers are addicted to football just like everyone else and will watch the games despite their belly aching. Or maybe a few of them won't, which will be completely insignificant. And they act like a streaming service hosting a game is the worst thing in the world. What about the days of games being blacked out? Or having to spend an arm and a leg for NFL Sunday Ticket, which you had to have an expensive cable subscription on top of anyway?
  12. I think the first 5 are obvious, then the rest fight for the 6th spot.
  13. He occasionally contributes on offense, but he is a core special teamer as well.
  14. Funny, because in his earlier podcast episode from today he was advocating for MVS, and then the Bills signed him. So, that was kind of cool.
  15. Two TE sets are becoming popular again in the NFL.
  16. That's what I keep saying. Bills fans know he sucks. That was one of the worst hires by the Broncos and then the Jets turn around and hire him after he proved there he was a terrible.
  17. Way better depth than last year. That's for sure. Relying on Sherfield and Harty shot us in the foot multiple times last year.
  18. Baltimore lost a ton of talent. Nobody is really talking about that.
  19. He's OK. I would probably prefer to see what the existing guys can do, honestly.
  20. Does overpaying a safety ever work?
  21. Goff is somehow both overrated and underrated. I'm not entirely sure what to think of him.
  22. I think he could be more than that. I could easily see him getting 80 targets. This is exactly how I see it.
  23. He is the starting slot receiver. Slot is basically a different position from outside receiver. It is like nickel corner. It requires a different skill set. It is better to view it in terms of targets. I don't think it is outside of the realm of possibility that Shakir is 1st or 2nd in targets this year.
  24. He already proved he is a starter last year. Do you mean #1 receiver? I don't think he is a #1, but he is clearly a starter.
  25. Why do we want Treylon Burks?
