  1. My guess is around pick 15. Something like that.
  2. QB's are still king, and they can push more talented prospects down the board. Then there are teams that just need to draft certain positions because they have holes, which pushes talent down as well.
  3. Trade up? Yes. Trade all of THAT to get into the top 8? Heck no.
  4. Kelce is a shadow of himself, honestly. He's still good but not the dominant force he used to be. And the Bills have a good defense too. There's really nothing to be panicking about, especially before the roster is even set.
  5. Really the only leak was McDermott's "very concerned" comment from last year. The Bills keep these things quiet. The offseason isn't over. The roster is still being built. We have the draft, potential trades, and up until the season to bring in free agents.
  6. Yeah, there must have been a lot more going on that we don't know about. I know Diggs sent some mysterious tweets, but largely he kept the issues in house, and I respect him for that. Too many players go out and air their dirty laundry in interviews or on social media. Diggs didn't do that, regardless of how people feel about his tweets. Nothing was blatant. That said, it's a real shame that he couldn't be more professional and control his emotions and attitude. He basically forced himself off the team, and that sucks.
  7. The Chiefs also got rid of talent on the oline and defense and relied on young players and rookies. The key is they hit on draft picks. The Bills need to do the same. The Bills were the 2 seed! They won 11 games. Stop this nonsense.
  8. We absolutely are. No doubt about it.
  9. I don't really agree. Every team uses the charts. They deviate some, but they use the charts as a baseline. I think they do mean a lot, but they don't mean everything. Some teams become desperate. Some teams value draft picks more than others. But the charts are always relevant.
  10. That's not nearly as lopsided as you think. That's 1640 for the Vikings and 1410 for the Lions according to the value calculator I used. There are a few calculators out there.
  11. That's just false. It will take more than that.
  12. I don't think Diggs is a number 1 anymore, or at least not for the Bills. He soured on the organization and disappeared in games. I fully expect him to go to Houston and put up good numbers, until something upsets him again and he sours on THAT organization. It happened with the Vikings and it happened with the Bills. Getting a 2 for him is fine. The dead cap hit is a big blow, though.
  13. I just meant from a cap perspective, not that they will be paying him anything extra.
  14. 30 million dead cap. That's never a good thing. Was it the right move? Probably, but that doesn't make it an ideal situation.
  15. Even so, the organization is in a less than ideal position. They are now paying a receiver 30 million to not be on the team. It might be the right move, but it is not what anyone wanted to happen. Ideally, Diggs would be on the team, happy, and contributing. But he's not.
  16. Can't give it more than a C. Diggs put the organization in a tough spot and forced his way out, basically. Impossible for the Bills to come out on top in a situation like this.
  17. Draft what your team needs. But the Chiefs have invested a lot in their defense, both in the draft and free agency. Anyone who thinks that we should only focus on bolstering the offense is not paying attention to what other good teams do.
  18. And they had their best defense in years. 2nd in points against and 2nd in yards against.
  19. Running the ball and playing good defense is how the two superbowl teams play. KC has been prioritizing their defense for awhile, expending high draft picks. They started prioritizing running the ball and that freed up their offense more, especially with the lack of talent they have at receiver. And, of course, the 49ers run the ball and prioritize defense too. It's not 2015 anymore. It's 2024.
  20. Diggs performs well when he is mentally and emotionally well, so I think he'll probably go there and be pretty happy and perform well. Until something pisses him off and he starts sulking again. Talented receiver, but he is too volatile.
  21. I've been saying that Diggs isn't a number 1 receiver anymore and that his issues are concerning, but I thought we were locked with him for another season at least. I guess the Bills decided to just rip off the bandaid.
  22. Wow. I'm stunned.he must have been too much of an issue to keep. That's the only reason you take on the crazy cap hit.
  23. The Saints are "NA" for QB, which I guess means they haven't drafted one in the first two rounds since 1980? That's pretty crazy. They got Drew Brees in free agency.
  24. Why are you surprised by safety? Safeties are not drafted high, are one of the lower impact positions, are one of the lower paid positions, and we have had an elite pair of safeties for years. So yeah, no wonder we didn't spend a 1st or 2nd rounder on one. And we still shouldn't. You can get a starting caliber safety for pretty cheap in free agency. If you want to draft one, draft one in the 4th round or later.
