  1. I'm a big fan, but this is a big commitment for a guy who hasn't won a playoff game and who's team massively collapsed in the Wild Card game last year. All for stability, but may have given it one more year before doing this.
  2. At the end of the day, he didn't opt out. Now everyone is saying, "what a great guy - loves football - etc." People are talking about him and in a positive light. It's great for his branding. I see right through it.
  3. It's embarrassing that you'd call it embarrassing. This is quite possibly true and completely fair to have this theory given past comments by Tre. He has access to world class facilities, testing, etc. Many things regular society doesn't have. I don't understand the opt-outs and don't buy that he's going to actually do it. He just wants people talking about him.
  4. This is all a publicity stunt for Tre to get his name out there and build his profile. Lots of people talking about him now
  5. NFL facilities are hospital clean and there are more safety protocols than practically any other industry. Count me as one who just doesn’t get it. I look at the guy or gal working at the grocery store or a nurse or police officer. They don’t have access to the testing, world class facilities, etc. and somehow show up for work each day making pennies. Obviously he has the right to do what he wants. I also have the right to not agree with it or understand it.
  6. Bottom line is saying something is “black” is racist. We are one America with one national anthem. I’m sick of the pandering They don’t want unity - that’s the problem
  7. Isn’t a “black” national anthem racist? Just imagine if we had a “white” national anthem. I will not stand if played at any game I attend. This creates division
  8. I wouldn't be shocked if he isn't even the week 1 starter
  9. Is anyone else really sick of this guy? He misses being on tv every night.
  10. Chris Simms also made a comment while at the University of Texas that Chilis was his favorite Mexican restaurant in the city.
  11. The pandering is that no opinions are allowed. Any opinion expressed is attacked. Thus, people are silenced and there’s no “conversation.” Conversation would have entailed folks listening to Brees and having dialogue. Not shaming him into apology. This is why we have a “silent majority” in our society
  12. We all have to pander to this movement now regardless of opinions - if we don’t, we’ll be called racist. The NFL is no different
  13. He should keep his mouth shut too. He's gained 0 yards in the NFL and has to prove himself before he starts talking about defenders making "business decisions."
  14. Wait a minute - I thought this was supposed to be a "conversation." If this is the case, it has to be two way with everyone being heard and not being bullied into certain opinions. This will never work and IMO is a big part of the problem.
  15. Can we wait for this guy to play in a game and produce before we start buying into this marketing stuff?
  16. Kind of sad to see Sammy running around the field making big catches. What could have been.
  17. Why do all these guys who get in trouble have guns - many unregistered. I get the second amendment but it’s a broken record.
  18. Initiatives like this do more harm to the mission of diversity than good. Racism goes both ways. Racism against whites can exist too. And agree it does more harm to what we’re trying to achieve than good. This is not what MLK wanted.
  19. Rather than being "all world," how about he be a reliable 1 of 11. I'd take that.
  20. This article should be sent to any free agent who thinks you can’t have fun in Buffalo as marketing material.
  21. Yep - said we don't need masks, the virus was no big deal, etc. He talks for 10 minutes and says nothing. I am more interested in what the league office and NFLPA say after as they synthesize different pieces of information.
  22. One way or another, Fromm will be our starting QB at the start of the 2021 season
  23. He's entitled to his, sure. But I remember Jim feeling insulted when Rex Ryan didn't go out of his way to kiss his rear end. This shows entitlement and a feeling that he must have a voice. Jim is welcome to express his opinions on this board, just like I am (we also have the same number of Super Bowl rings). Nobody - I think it's an unnecessary dog and pony show. It's time to move beyond the 90s. Stop clinging to that team. When you add up all of their Super Bowl rings, it's equal to mine. I respect those guys and appreciate what they did for the team, but we are in 2020, not 1991. We have a Ring of Honor where they have their rightful place in Bills history. Conference calls with the coaching staff is nothing more than kissing their rear ends. I don't need to hear Thurman on WGR acting like he knows all. I don't need to see Jimbo inserting himself into different things. Let's focus on what we have and where we're headed.
