  1. I can see Sal as the kind of guy who walks into a bar like he's hot stuff because he's a sideline reporter. That's the kind of vibe he gives off. Having lived around the U.S. and listened to countless sports talk radio and beat reporters, we can do far better.
  2. True, although he has about 10% of the knowledge and isn't nearly as entertaining. Actually, not, it's a Sal Capaccio problem. Bills fans deserve better than a self-appointed press secretary for McBeane. He not only talks down to callers, he also talks down to Howard and Jeremy in the AM.
  3. Not sure about anyone else, but I'm getting pretty tired of Sal Capaccio on WGR. While he's very passionate about the Bills and Western New York, he comes across as extremely arrogant and thinks he's a self-appointed spokesman for the Bills. He routinely dismisses callers who make valid points - this morning, someone called in wanting to talk about the few playoff teams the Bills have defeated during McDermott's tenure and Sal immediately cut him off and said the point wasn't relevant. When callers call in and it's unclear what they are trying to say, he starts screaming. Admittedly, this can be frustrating but it comes across as arrogance. It's also kind of tiring listening to him try to justify / explain every move the Bills make as if he's McBean's press secretary with the attitude of "you must listen to me because I'm a sideline reporter and used to coach football." Given his role is so visible on WGR, I certainly hope this is a position that eventually gets upgraded.
  4. I’m waiting for someone’s weekly post about his matchup win rate
  5. Ticks me off they have fans in the stands and we don’t
  6. This league continues to baffle me. We have video proof of Titans breaking NFL protocol but the broadcast crew finds the need to state that Roger said no protocols were knowingly broken. What a joke. Let's beat the tar out of these guys.
  7. People's fascination with the Cowboys is disgusting. Always has been. Given they're on TV all the time, I get to see how awful their defense is. It's epic how bad it is.
  8. I find it interesting how Bills players have been expressing concern for Titans players, talking about friends on the team, etc. Seems the outrage is with the fans and not the players.
  9. I'm just glad we signed a FA CB who didn't quit at halftime.
  10. One thing that was obvious during the game yesterday was a few clear as day f-bombs heard from the field. I get it's football, there are no fans and it's easier to hear what's going on (in many ways, it's a positive to have more sound from the field), but something the NFL should probably address. If they can pipe in crowd noise, there should be an easy fix for this.
  11. Covered the spread on the road. Not much more you can ask for
  12. These announcers have misspoke too many times today
  13. Why do the announcers say absolutely nothing about the obvious hit to the head?
  14. Why the personal attack? Uncalled for and childish.
  15. This will really stink having to play Tennessee coming off a week 4 bye and well rested.
  16. True - the one difference is that with McDermott, it seems like they don't flop in games they are supposed to win all that often.
  17. I care more about him getting pressure on the QB (he was mostly invisible) than anything he has to say.
  18. For some odd reason, this game kind of feels like the Browns game last year. A game we should win, but I have the feeling we won't be sharp
  19. Teams are scoring points like it's a video game - which is why we should take what Josh is doing with a grain of salt.
  20. I would be investing money in Milano over Edmunds
  21. Let’s wait to see where things stand after the next 4 games before we make conclusions about Josh
