  1. In your scenario, the four 10-7 teams would go to a conference-record tie-breaker and Bills would be ahead of Cincy 6-6 vs 5-7. It's the one good thing we have going for us over Cincy if a multi-team tie-breaker.
  2. Kermit gets extra kisses from miss piggy for those stats. Head above all others. But now no Hill, coming back to earth.
  3. BILLS OVER DALLAS Min Over Cin Det over Den Ten over Hou Pit over Ind (only cuz I expect Pit more likely to lose more games in future weeks) Bears over Browns Jets over Mia Pats over KC Jags over Ravens (we want Jags to win out and take the south, not lose it to Indy or Hou and end up in tie with us)
  4. Blue moon, you saw me standing alone Without a dream in my heart
  5. 2 min. One word... Run! So dumb. Glad they won, but...
  6. (try this again) My poor-man's analysis... Bills need to be in top-3 of this mess. Green = Likely Favorite (>3 points) Red = Likely Underdog (<3 points) White = Near "push"/even (-3 to +3) Houston has the easiest road. I'm ready to forget about them and assume they are in. I think it comes down to overtaking Cleveland and/or Ind, and hopefully Cin and Den fade away too. Pitt is toast. Cin over Ind this weekend helps, but then Cin needs to blow it a couple of times. Bills MUST win their 4 AFC games (mostly for AFC record if tie-breaker), and beating Dallas at home would be icing. This is what we're forced to endure after losing to JETS, NE, and DEN. Ridiculous.
  7. To me, Thanksgiving 2021 was the day. Tre blew out his knee. He was the super fun kid out there always keeping things upbeat and positive. Even Lil' Dirty added to the fun-loving bunch back then. And the rest of the team seemed young and fresh and ready to take on the world. Then 13 seconds. Then all the terribleness that happened last year culminating in that playoff loss at home was just devastating. Then London happened this year. Just terrible. Milano and Jones. No way. Now things are WAY more serious out there. We're not throwing parties and smiling and hoping for wins, we're p*ssed off at the BEGINNING of games and NEEDING wins... and ready to pounce on every ref call, McD decision, and bad plays by our guys. Losing to the Jets, NE, and Denver in particular was extremely disheartening. Makes you question why you're putting your whole heart and soul into this. But, giving up is the easy thing to do. We've been through WAY worse times. The Bills are still the most exciting team to watch in all of football (I think). Yes, it's a rollercoaster ride, but at least you feel something... both the highs and lows. Bills fans don't give up. I'm not giving up. I'm going into these games with a smile on my face, a positive attitude and am just going to enjoy the ride. Go Bills.
  8. He's a nice insurance policy if any one of the current RBs go down. I'd probably keep him stashed, for fresh depth vs making one of the current RBs inactive.
  9. Point Differential so far: 3rd best in AFC, 5th best in all of NFL. It's coaching. Specifically end-of-game coaching.
  10. I would say that KO return to start the game will go down as a top-10 moment in Bills history, after the Damar week. I know I'll never forget that one.
  11. Maybe the NFL wants to make the Bills the "lovable losers," like the Cubs all those years.
  12. Gotta win all 4 AFC games, improve conf record to 7-5. Tie-breakers are very likely for final spot(s). Beating Dallas would be sweet too (obviously), but the other 4 AFC games are the critical ones. If they are to go 4-1 down the stretch, Dal needs to be the loss. 5-0 would be amazing though.
  13. I could understand the same record, and maybe with the same number of TDs, but the EXACT number of passing yards at 2,599?! THAT, is especially amazing, if true.
  14. "Dallas at Buffalo becomes the sole late national game on FOX" Fox is praying we beat KC next week, otherwise Dallas game is moot (as far as Bills are concerned). Maybe NFL will whisper the script to the refs before the KC game and we'll get some calls our way.
  15. If we "have to" lose 1, it's the Dallas game. Win the remaining AFC games, going 4-1 down stretch gets us to 10-7 with a 7-5 conf record. Might squeak in that way. Losing any of the AFC games is a season-ender. Dallas win would be gravy. Hopefully Pitt, Cle, Hou, Ind, Den beat each other up and trade wins. Gotta get in top 3 of those 6 (including us).
  16. NE at home after the Damar game. Credit McD for keeping the team focused. Hines 2 KO return(s) put a lump in my throat.
  17. And 4 plays earlier when Sherfield didn't know the ball was coming to him. 2 times in 4 plays, with the game on the line, QB/WR aren't on the same page. Week 12
  18. I didn't start it, but I may have helped it continue. I was never going to open it, I swear. It was sitting on a shelf above my basement bar. But I got stoned one night ~10 years ago and opened my box of Flutie Flakes. I know. I know. I'm sorry.
  19. A couple people were posting about whether Von should retire.
  20. Now do the math (or wait until end of year). How much is he paid per tackle? (calculate in per-half-tackle, I guess)
  21. That loss hurts bad, but going into the week with 6 to go, we thought 5 wins... in, 4 wins... likely in. If we HAD to lose 1 (or 2), better to lose to the NFC teams. We need to win the remaining AFC games (KC, LAC, NE, MIA) and hope the conference record (7-5) beats the likes of Cle, Pit, Hou, Ind. Beating Dallas would be welcome gravy on top of those 4 wins. We lose in two weeks to KC, then I'm ready to officially throw in the towel.
