Cornelius Bennett? I get that. But to send the GM to that Pro Day with so many other ones happening at the same time is rather curious to me. I would have though he would want to see a bit more of the WR/DTs ect that were a bigger need over some potential UDFAs.

They also have Alec Anderson that can play IOL and they like him a lot. I believe he's the one that made Bates expendable. I do agree that Day 3 we likely see some OL taken. They way it sits at the moment I can't see one on day 2 as we only have one pick that day and still have needs at WR and the DL. But if a guy they love is sitting there anything is possible for sure

Nothing better than this time of year. I LOVE watching each off-season the Jets make these big moves and get their fans all excited only to see the season rapidly fall apart for them by week 6. Their fans fall for it year after year, too.

Skipped Combine and now skipping this. Wouldn't shock me if he's not the 1st WR taken after all. Great film for sure. But I think he's gonna get passed by for one of the other top 2 guys.

This is my initial thought as well. In the grand scheme of things $1.6M is absolute peanuts when it comes to cap space. If they have an opportunity to improve the spot either through the draft or a better FA pick up they will still hop on it. I'd even see them take a shot on an UDFA and have a competition. I see that $1.6M being paid out more like an insurance fee for if they don't land someone else.

Last one I did I had DT as our first pick as well. I did trade back and pick up a third. Ended up with T'Vondre Sweat and Leggette. That would be a good start IMO.

That's fine. We need some of those. Likely didn't break the bank. Hopefully we get more out of him than the last Commander DL guy we signed.

Honestly, with the contract Poyer signed I think it's rather presumptuous that he even makes the Miami roster. I would definitely put him in the category of "see how the draft plays out". Could easily see Miami grab a safety by the end of day 2 and Poyer could very well end up back on the FA market.

Kincaid Diggs Shakir Samuel Rookie Cook Knox Hollins Shorter Yup, I'm the oddball. However, I do think with how we saw Kincaid used late in the year down field he's going to pass 1000 yards if healthy. And, Diggs has played at a high level and (I believe) hasn't missed a game as a Bill...but an aging body rarely bodes well. Not a knock on him...but something I can see reasonably happening.
