  1. They get fast pressure on the QB with 4 rushers. They play tight in coverage. Combine those 2 things and those are the things that give Brady troubles. The Jacksonville CBs are far better than NE WRs. Gronk may get his yards. Gronk always gets his yards it seems. But this is a defense that can shake Brady.
  2. I love when he says "This time I was more high than anything.". This time. Well played. And yet he will still likely appeal his forthcoming suspension.
  3. Why? What does that accomplish? What's wrong with the rule now? Should we just change everything just to change it? How about this. Leave the game and rules the way they are and find people to ref the game that don't have bias. Or let's gets some refs that you know....didn't officiate a game for the Lombardi led Packers and don't have 60 years of confusing rule changes to sift through. Just a thought.
  4. If they wanted to thank a Jag, they should have donated to Marcell Dareus's "Support Single Mom's...One Dollar at a Time" fund.
  5. Then DBs will figure out how to purposely take down a WR and make it look incidental. And that leaves more room for the refs to influence the outcome with "judgement calls". No thanks.
  6. He's had a good year, but that's really all it is. A good year. Fournette and one of those corners go down its a completely different team. Lets see him have some sustainable success before he's crowned. Lets see how he manages a football team with as many "colorful" attitudes as the Jags have.
  7. Wondering if this means we make a meaningful push to resign Jordan Matthews. He really could do well in this pass scheme. Zay, if he can rebound and it turns out the shoulder was to blame could also be well suited for it. Still say we need someone with speed. Brice Butler of the Cowboys would be a really nice flier.
  8. Vikings. That way the media can focus all week on the Vikes play the Super Bowl in their own house.
  9. Says why criticize while criticizing those criticizing. Not to be too critical of your criticizing post.
  10. He may not be a rookie, but Ben has never struck me as a very cerebral QB either. He's been great at executing game plans...but when it comes to smarts he's the Gronk of QBs in my book. Not sure if I would want him overruling the OC if I'm the coach either.
  11. Cousins to the Broncos, Cutler unemployed. Wouldn't be shocked to see McCown in NYJ again.
  12. He is a one time NFL All Pro...only made the team in his contract year. Only time he had 10 or more sacks as well. While I am very aware there is more to a DT than sacks...it shows me what he was always capable of when properly motivated. He has had games where he took over. He's had big plays at big times. He's also lazy and only really plays when it benefits him. There is not a place on a team put together by McBeane for self serving players like him. He really could have been one of the all time greats. Have fun with him Jacksonville. Until you actually pay him. Then....he gone
  13. I think the driving force behind the hire is that McD want Daboll to share his hair care secrets with him.
  14. This Jacksonville team reminds me a LOT of the Seattle team that won a Super Bowl. Excellent defense led by a young brash secondary Violent running back Retread HC that has an likeability problem A QB that can make plays on the ground as a runner Arrogant attitude They do match up well against the Patties and have shown they can win a tough game on the road. I do think the Jags win this weekend.
  15. Lets see in 2005 they lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators. They didn't win another Super Bowl for 10 years. Just saying, could go either way.
  16. While I do agree with most about Timmy and his negative traits...have to give credit for the AFC South letterman jacket comment. That was pretty good.
  17. You wanna crown em..then crown em. Me? I honestly think Brady doesn't beat Bortles next week. Football is a game of matchups and timing. The Jags match up really well against the Patties. And right now they have a ton of confidence.
  18. Sure he can and sure he is. Just give him a bunch of kale smoothies. I hear they make football players immune to injury.
  19. Jags have a high first rounder at QB. They are the odds on favorite...right?
