With all this boom mics, players wired for sound and the way the NFL covers games in general, if something was indeed said there is no way it wasn't picked up on audio. Frankly if they don't have audio of it, it likely never happened.

So Bevell can only work with mobile QBs? And if so, Taylor is the only mobile QB in the NFL? I don't get the connection. Just because he HAS worked with Russell Wilson doesn't mean that is all he can work with. It in no way shape or form means we keep TT and draft only a mobile guy. The thing most people like to forget about Wilson is he is a QB that can occasionally run...not an athlete that can occasionally throw. The narrative on TT that he can be a stop gap is foolish. His greatest accomplishment is that he doesn't throw interceptions. Grand. He also leaves way too many plays that would keep a drive alive on the field... especially on 3rd downs. Just as bad as a turnover.

If I'm McD this is what I would do... Hire Chud. Let him implement the offense. I'd also hire Dorsey as QB coach. From the get go I let Chud know that while the offense is in his hands 2 of his top priorities should be 1. Grooming the new QB and 2. Grooming Dorsey to take over for him. My vision is this. If Chud comes in and turns around the offense, helps groom this new QB and we have success he will likely be a hot HC candidate withing the next 2-3 seasons. He's already well regarded around the league and many feel if given time he could have done well in Cleveland. We need someone to take over and not start over again. Actual continuity.

I wonder what Steve Fairchild is up to these days? Whatever it is I hope he stays there.
