Another good night for Ciarlo as well. I hope they bring him back to the PS. He has really good instincts. I would love to see him as a "big nickel". I think he's more of a tweener without a natural position than he is a LBer. Good STs player. A guy like him has some value on an actual roster.

What a weird answer. I had to get an MRI not long ago and the results were done an reported to me in about an hour. And that was at a busy hospital. The team takes their own MRI, with their own doctors in house and can't get the results in a week? What is this, 1965? I get why he isn't giving info, but if they want me to believe a billion dollar franchise with in house medical staff can't get results almost on the spot....that's just insulting our intelligence.

They've done this in the past. Played a QB for the final game they knew wouldn't be on the roster. Most notable was AJ McCarron a few years back against the Bears. Double reason. #1, why risk a guy like Mitch or (likely) White that they plan on having rostered or on the PS. #2, they gave him a chance to put a game together and get stuff in film for other teams to look at and possibly make it easier to let him audition for a job on another roster.

More concerned about the fact both PED guys played late today and neither could show out against 3rd/4th stringers.

He will see a lot on STs. Then probably another 10-15 on offense is my guess. Basically, the Jake Kumerow role. I think he could definitely earn more snaps throughout the year.

Davis needs the reps BAD. 7 carries for 12 yards is his rushing line through the first two preseason games. Frankly, he's another guy that may be playing himself off the roster. Gore on the other hand has way out performed Davis. Both in rushing and out of the backfield as a receiver. Has looked way sharper albeit against 3rd and 4th stringers.

Basically it's a cheap millionaire calling out a cheap (is Brown even a) billionaire. They can both kick rocks.

The rookie is rumored to start. Can get him late for fantasy purposes, but he's really impressed. Eckler will have a role on 3 rd downs and they have Chris Rodriguez, who will be used on a lot of goal line/short yardage situations. Sounds like a true committee backfield and they really weren't interested in paying Robinson.

I mean, will we tho? Last year the Ravens curb stomped us in regular season and we beat the Chiefs in regular season. And then later on, we eliminate the Ravens, the Chiefs eliminated us. It's a week 1 game. Many teams (and the SB era pats were famous for this) don't really even know what type of team they are until week 4 or 5. All the Ravens game will do is show us who won in week one. No more, no less.

I'm not sure I buy Eric Dickerson as the guy to put faith in for breaking news. It makes zero sense also. What exactly are they making an example of? Arrogance? Being born the son of Sanders? And yeah, even if the NFL said that, if someone wanted him they would have drafted him way before the 5th. Sounds more like Dickerson trying to help his friends son save face. I do find it funny that he was drafted by the most blah team in the NFL after they drafted another QB.

It appears that Davis isn't recovering as well as he should be. Shows that even with a mediocre QB, a proper game plan can go a long way. I have full faith in Joe Brady being able to devise a game plan if Mitch had to start a few games to set him up for success. Much more faith in Brady than I would Matt Canada who was his OC when he looked so bad in Pittsburgh.

I agree about Davis. In addition to the slow feet he also lacks proper vision and struggles to find holes at times. But I think your trade idea is pie in the sky at best. Right now, Washington is rumored to be in the "RB sellers" market. They are rumored to be moving on from Brian Robinson as they like their other 3 backs in Chris Rodriguez, Austin Eckler and rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt a whole lot. I don't see them bringing another back into the room. And I don't see anyone trading for an oft injured WR at Samuel's price tag. McLaurin may be on the move...but keep an eye on the Saints, Jets or Vikings for his services IMO.

If that's the case I would expect the Bills to showcase him quite a bit against the Bucs. As a RB, I've felt Davis has been rather 'meh' in his preseason carries. As a kicker he was rock solid.

Don't we hear some version of this gibberish each year? So you're setting the line at the defense giving up on average 39.5 points a game over the course of the season? I'll take the under in any amount you wish to make it.
