Week 1, Nevermores v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
BuffaloBillyG replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I truly hate this game for us. I think we start off slow and the Ravens take advantage. Sloppy, ugly week 1 game. I think the goal for the Ravens is to show Lamar should have been the MVP. He's going to be let loose. The biggest difference in this game is Josh and our offense HAVE to play the Baltimore defense, while Lamar GETS to face ours. Buffalo-16 Baltimore-38 -
What is your X-Factor(variable) for the Bills this year?
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been big on Bosa doing well since he signed. I will stay with him on defense. On offense, the heath of Dalton Kincaid. If he stays healthy we should see a nice jump from him. And on more then just those screen plays. -
Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
BuffaloBillyG replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was not a fan of Davis by the time he left. Thought he had too big a role for the lack of consistent success he had. But on the practice squad? I'm good with that. I never want to see him as a main cog on offense...but having a guy that was a recent starter for us sitting on the practice squad is never a bad thing. Maybe he still has a big game or two left in him. -
Christian Wilkins released for kissing team mate
BuffaloBillyG replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is like your 10 speed bike popped a tire, so you run out and buy a Harley. Typically, I don't see teams replace a DT5 with a former pro bowl level player. The math doesn't math here. That's not even to mention that he seems to be someone that causes issues in the locker room and has a few screws loose. Hard pass on this head case. -

Make everyone a captain. Except Bass. Everyone gets a turn stuffing him in a locker. -
Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not sure about this. Jackson is probably a better duel threat. His running is off the charts and he's come a long way as a passer. Got to give him credit for that. The guy is phenomenal. But he doesn't play the QB position as well as Allen and Josh isn't a slouch when it comes to running the ball either. Allen/Jackson is a "push" in my view. The big difference here is that Allen has to face the Ravens defense. Jackson gets to face ours. The King has been probably the best RB of his generation. But Cook is a top 5-8 back and is still improving. Henry has without a doubt been the better back...but he is 31 and has absorbed a lot of punishment in his career. He can only stiff arm Father Time for so long. Henry HAS been the better back in the past but will he still be in the year 2025? Remains to be seen. -
I think if he stays healthy he's going to be impressive. One thing he does really well that blends with Josh, is the way he gets open when the play breaks down. He's a great "street ball" WR. I think he's going to be HUGE in those type plays. If he plays in all 17 games he would only need to average just under 59 yards a game for 1,000 yards. That's definitely possible. I'll say he ends up over that threshold.

This is someone I would definitely kick the tires on. Good amount of experience and would fit the D. Would definitely upgrade the quality of the depth. Has played on STs as well.

Ok. Fair warning I have a great trial lawyer.

That would be true now, yes. Earlier in the week when I wrote it...no.

Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
BuffaloBillyG replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Things like that happen pretty often here. Typically, during prime time games I like to be on the boards of whoever is playing. Kinda monitor what their fans think in real time. Last year more often then not the thread here would have more pages than the sites for the teams actually playing. Don't know if that's a good thing (we are active! Yay!) or a bad thing (there's nothing better to do, we have no lives)....but it's A thing lol -

Thanks for the idea!

Yeah I think a standing red Buffalo is too plain and boring. Sue me. Standing Buffalo look is big on history...small on visual appeal.
-
Oh no!!! It's different!!! We must complain!!! Seriously, I kinda like them for a game or two a year. The Buffalo on the sleeve looks cool. I think they are rather crisp and fresh looking. Can also be looked at as a nod to our original color scheme. MUCH better than the standing Buffalo on the helmet. Down vote as needed.

I don't think his numbers will flash being a DT, but high hopes for TJ Sanders. I think he is going to be a stud in the middle for us. I still think once he comes back from injury Mad Max makes some really big plays for us late in the season and in the playoffs. I too was hyped on Landon Jackson, now I'm left wondering if he even gets a jersey on game day if there aren't injuries.

MVS released from the Seahawks
BuffaloBillyG replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lands on his feet in one of the weakest WR rooms in the NFL. Good for him. -
Same. I think he is on the PS (if no one offers him a spot on their 53) before Davidson. While his last preseason game was fine Davidson had a BRUTAL first 2 games.
-
He looked cooked 2 years ago. He was definitely cooked last year. The pro here is that he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the room. If he's more in the role of experience in the room I'm ok with it. If he sees the field we are in trouble.

I'll give him credit. He made quite a few big plays for the Saints last year. He can play but is a one trick pony.
