  1. Already happened for me. My daughter got married at Highmark three years ago. Best family day we have ever had. Complete with an hour doing wedding photos (and playing around) on the field. I can always say I threw a TD pass to my son in the tunnel end zone on the same field Allen, Kelly ect. played on. Anything that happens this year is a bonus!
  2. MILK CHECK!!! MILK CHECK!!!
  3. Maybe 'La Bamba' came on the radio. I've noticed I drive faster when La Bamba comes on. It's almost like muscle memory to try and keep up to the song.
  4. No. Unfortunately I have the runner up, Lamar show up and offer me a candy bar. At least I HOPE that was a candy bar.
  5. I honestly feel like a lot of Bills fans got sick and tired of the media attention he was given. While I understand why they do it...mainly to cover the story for people that don't watch Bills games week in and week out....it's been week after week that his story is touched on. It became much for a lot of people. Every time he does something on the field one of the announcers are almost required to mention it...even last year.
  6. I've been pretty down on Jackson since yesterday. Here's why. After a very quiet camp we saw in real time why we didn't hear much about him. He played weak. Slow. Couldn't get off blocks, guy escorted upfield and past the QB on rushes easily. Was shoved to the ground a few times. He completely lost contain on Winston's long scramble. All I all a horrible performance on the heels of a disappointingly quiet camp. And even in all that it would be somewhat understandable against a starting level OT. He played against the Giants 2nd and 3rd string RT. At this point he is far below AJE in my opinion. Most likely a game day inactive. He needs to get stronger and work on his technique. He's very raw. Does this mean this is who he will always be? Of course not, no. But I think he has a long way to go to even be considered serviceable. I'm rooting for him.
  7. Yeah. Damar Hamlin.
  8. Elway was my comp up above. But one other guy I think was close, Steve McNair. Watch some footage of him from Alcorn St. Some plays the similarities are almost uncanny.
  9. Cook has almost zero leverage here. He refuses to play come regular season time he loses money. The Bills retain his rights if he doesn't report/play by week 10 I believe. See and this is one of my worries. Last year he ran hard. He played tough. He was gunning for that contract. Now without an extension, does he make more "business decisions"? Don't be so sure. The Giants ended up with zero compensation for losing Barkley. The Titans got zippo for losing Henry. All depends on what they do against the formula next off season.
  10. People will hate on Hamlin for simply making the team.
  11. The real question may be...why aren't you?
  12. As long as they not only KEEP the train whistle...but make it 10x's louder.
  13. We had a statue until Drew Bledsoe left town...
  14. In fairness, he's made plays against everyone back there... including Benford. That's reassuring. Yup. We have always needed that guy on defense. Someone who can wreck a play at a key time. I really believe that Bosa, when healthy is that guy. He's the closer we needed Von Miller to be.
  15. For the limited amount of snaps he was out there, Bosa was a straight up demon. If he can keep that come the regular season teams will have to focus on him more and that should open opportunities from Oliver/Groot and the youngins. I thought our two young DTs showed well. Honestly, I don't see any reason why DaQuan Jones lasts as the starter over Sanders. The big concern I have coming out of this game is Landon Jackson. He has a LOT of work to do to get better IMO.
  16. Of all the opinions following a preseason loss ..this is one of em.
  17. Doesn't seem that long ago when a 50 yarder was a big deal. Now these kickers make that distance routine. Though I will say back in the day kickers seemed to be more accurate. There's always weeks during the season while watching Red Zone they will cut to like 4 or 5 FG attempts and we see miss after miss.
  18. Honestly, the failure that's was bigger than either of these was not making the playoffs for 17 years. We had some real solid defenses at times during that streak. I can't call winning 4 AFC championships in a row a "failure". And Allen's career is far from over and is currently providing the most entertaining era of Buffalo Bills football in the entire existence of the franchise.
  19. Yes. Based off what I've seen today and read about TC...that is my assessment as to where I see him now. Doesn't mean it wouldn't change over time. I hope it does
  20. Jackson would have to VASTLY improve before being on AJE'S level. And I'm not a huge AJE fan.
  21. Ciarlo also added a couple of nice splash plays. One on STs and one on defense. He's definitely in the mix for a PS spot if I'm making the call. Shavers was in for a lot more snaps then Keon. I'm not panicking quite yet. Coleman has looked good in camp. He's still got time to carry it over. Preferably when Josh is in there.
  22. Fair assessment. I also thought Shenault quietly had a solid game as a WR. His hands on the 2 point conversion were solid. I think the ST coverage units also showed very well today. Lots of energy and some good sticks. Absolutely LOVED the frenzy Bosa and Milano showed. At RB, Davis didn't make anyone miss Cook less. But man, Little Gore is fun to watch with the ball in his hands.
  23. I can't disagree. I too would feel more comfortable if we had 2 All Pro level safeties playing behind him. Mask more of the physical limitations he has these days. But, unfortunately, we have what we have. It's going to be up to the staff to scheme him some extra help sometimes and the pass rush to make sure he doesn't have to cover for too long.
  24. I thought White was ok. All the passes on him were on plays in the short area in front of him. He didn't get beat over the top and was a willing tackler. Something he really wasn't in his first sting here. I think if he can keep plays in front of him and be physical, he will do ok.
