I thought the defense looked a little weak. Beyond not generating any pass rush, there were wide open receivers that their QB (Allen) missed. Easy completions for Cam. Carolina ran the ball effectively, at times, as well. Carolina Allen did totally ignore Tre's side of the field and targeted Wallace relentlessly. So that CB2 is going to have to step up

I think that Ducasse came along with the former O-Line Coach, Castillo. Vlad was Castillo's guy and Vlad won't be around. It seems, and I could be wrong, that they would rather have Ford at Guard at this point. The Washington guy played well last night, but I did see Ford whiff on a block early in the game and Sweeney must have missed a chip block on the sack of Allen.

I think that Johnson looks better in shorts and non-contact. His strengths are his quickness and speed, but if I remember correctly KJ struggles with tackling and physicality. So it stands up to reason that KJ does well now, at this stage, but as so many people say, We will see when the "pads come on".

Perry was signed to shore up the dreadful Special Teams. I think he will make the roster.

I think that if the Quarterback stays healthy we will trounce the 6.5 o/u. My experience is that the rookies need almost a half of a season to show their stuff. The LB the Bears took last year (Roquan) who was so highly pitched took 7/8 games to show up. But he did, and that is what I am looking for from EO.

I am conflicted but feel that this will be our draft choice at #9 tomorrow night. Not much sizzle, but very solid. Maybe a little like the Shaq Lawson draft pick where I was hoping for better, but that was the best player at that time.

I heard one FO type on the NFL channel talking with Gil and Alex. The guy said that if a OL isn't a top 50 player in the draft don't waste a pick. Because except for the elite guys, there are great options in FA and on other teams practice squads. These OL just need to be sorted out as to who can grow into and adpt in the pro game. But I think the Bills are going DL in Round 1. The way I read the tea leaves is that they will target the Tytus guy from Alabama State or the small school Carolina guy in the 2/3 round and let them learn and grow behind these experienced guys that they signed this off season. I think that might be the plan. I see Christian Wilkins in Round 1. Has "process" written all over him and with Oliver gone and the questions with Gary I see Wilkins.

My model thinks that you don't give up that first rounder unless you have a short window to the Super Bowl. Buffalo is still building themselves up and will need that first rounder. I am beginning to see Christian Wilkins in our near future.

I think it is a nice schedule. Love the Thanksgiving game. I like 1:00 pm games, and the Thursday night game was always a throwaway. Now we have to see how many teams we get coming off of their bye, or extended week?

I don't really care who it is, but my guess is the Jets. Some national interest, good game to start the year for broadcast numbers, rivalry, young QBs, etc.
