  1. I think that if you do not believe there will be a defensive back, or two, in there somewhere you have not been paying attention. I think we need a top FA OLine and an OLine in the top 50 of the draft (the Bills should have two choices in the top 50). I also think I agree with other posters who indicate that Sean will have his way and an edge rusher will be the first pick.
  2. I agree with the last sentence of this post, although the 3rd and 4th paragraphs convince me that the poster must be from downstate, south of Albany where corruption and low football IQs thrive.
  3. I prefer Golden Tate still. Veteran presence in the receiver room.
  4. I agree with the OP that the Jets got the jump on the Bills by trading up, and then landing Darnold. I do think that that will be a thorn in our side for years to come, but I like our guy as well but the Bills will have to be smart to beat the Jets with defense and a better running game. JA can push the ball down the field. Brady and Belichik will not go quietly, but there should be some decent competition in coming years.
  5. I think the ST Coaches fate was sealed when there occurred a "12 men on the field" penalty during punt return, giving the opposition a first down. That was the final straw for me, and that was prior to the Jets debacle. OL has to be better. The Bills identity has been as a great running team, and there is nothing this year. Stymied at the line.
  6. Golden Tate, I agree. Smart, top effort and good in Locker room. Vet leadership. I also agree there may be some overlap with Zay, but this is a very solid player to help the young draftees coming in. I would also be happy with an overspend on an A+ interior lineman. Then I will trust the FO (McBeane as you would have it) for the additions to the defense.
  7. CBS Sports blamed Allen. Claims he "missed" a wide open Charles Clay in the end zone. There was comparative fault on this play (OL anyone) but it tips toward Clay for me, choking in the big moment.
  8. Archuleta was openly cheering for the Jags last time he had our game. Whooping it up after Fournette's second touchdown.
  9. Both. Clay choked though. Had to catch that.
  10. Wow. That was a heart breaker. I think I like watching Josh Allen play, and I also dream of a future with an Offensive Line and another pass catcher or two.
  11. As I watch the games each week, it definitely seems to me that The OL Coach, J. Castillo cannot possibly survive this off season. The terrible play and the drive killing penalties. When they had too many men on the field for the punt return against the Jags, that is unacceptable.
  12. I thought is tradition that when a team drafted their new Quarterback they would take care of him with following pick with a Receiving Threat or Protection on the O-Line. Like last year this is a McDermott Draft. Hoping the defense can keep us games, but from whence are more than 3 points coming. The OL, it seems to me from where I am, is a total weak link.
  13. Josh Allen is totally innocent. He hasn't done anything yet. He is coming to Bills Country as a young stranger and we should welcome him and support him.
  14. I think we should support the kid until he betrays us through off field behavior, or proves incapable after being given a fair opportunity. He is just a young man coming to our region (Bills Country) and the Mafia should be hospitable. There is so much vitriol that the sentiment may be that Josh has to fail to protect these unhappy egos. I am going to give the man a chance and treat him with respect, the way I would like to be treated if I was a stranger coming to a foreign town.
  15. i just think it is a little ugly that everyone is so down on the young man. I am going to get behind JA and welcome him to the Bills with the love we have to show our team. If he betrays our trust he deserves disdain, not before. If he proves incapable, then he will leave quietly. But to be so angry and mean spirited before the young QB even takes a snap is untoward and not the way I see the Bills Mafia in my heart.
  16. The young man certainly passes "the eye" test. I watched his bowl game and he was dynamite in the first half, then the play calling veered away into running the ball to sit on the lead. I am not making any judgments, but am hoping that this one pans out. He is exciting to watch, inspires some confidence.
  17. Because it makes them feel more important? Like a big shot insider, maybe?
  18. Very good for the liver, it will put hair on your chest and keep you young
  19. T-Bomb is risking everything. His sound rating all on the line. Going to Number 1 to draft Darnold. Either Leroi or Dunkirk Don, which will it be?
  20. I really did not want to say this, but I have been thinking this since I heard his interview on the Sirius NFL Channel from the combine.
  21. Or other teams having hacked into your emails or tapped your phones.
  22. From where I sit, The Baker will be long gone by the Buc's spot. And everyone in the League is high on Baker. Just from where I am
  23. I think that the Colt's and the Bronco's have to measure their love for R. Smith and Quentin Nelson against the opportunities that additional draft slots offer. And the Bills have to measure their love for the remaining QB's against the bounty demanded for missing those studs by the 5 and 6 teams. So it will not be cheap to get up there to 5 or 6, but one would presume that once Chubb, Barkley, Smith and Nelson are off the Board and with the depth at CB in the pool, that starting with #7 there could be some action for whoever is remaining of the Big 3 (or 4 or 5 depending ) QB's. But that is just what I am thinking at this point.
  24. I love Mike White from WKU. I haven't seen much of his game video, but I listened to a long interview with him and came away impressed. If the Bills weren't in a big trade up, top five hype mode, I would love this Draft pick.
  25. So true that. smh
