  1. Everyone wants to get to heaven but no one wants to die
  2. Von was worth the contract until he was injured. It is unfortunate and maybe should have been foreseeable, but I cannot blame OBD for taking a swing at the fences...that was last year's Lombardi. Now we are hobbled by the contract and lack of production, but I don't blame the player as I believe he is giving maximum effort, and I don't blame "McBean" for going all in. I am optimistic Von will have a stronger year next year.
  3. A dash of CTE and a dash of chronic cannabis abuse, it may seem.
  4. Someone later in the 1st or 2nd may see Russ as a "bridge" for a year and then a backup for a year, if they draft a more raw talent at QB
  5. Sometimes these guys who show out in the Super Bowl get better contracts than they may otherwise.
  6. Yes, as someone said a two yard dive becomes an enthralling seismic event!!!!
  7. On to the Patriots. Take care of what we can control. Don't play down to NE. Win the game
  8. The Bills/Chargers Thread is mostly Dallas/Miami? I hope our BB are staying focused on the Chargers competition.
  9. When I watched Stick last week, he held the ball too long. I presume they will adjust and have quick underneath passing game. The Chargers back end is a little weak but The BB have to take the game seriously. Take care of business.
  10. The Chargers were fumbling almost every play. Stick was holding the ball way too long. The Chargers still don't cover that well. The Chargers did us a huge pavor by drafting the WR (Johnson) rather than Kincaid. Telesco had to go.
  11. I picked option 3. I love Gabe, but I can't see real big dollars over there. God speed, Gabriel
  12. Micah Parsons v. Spencer Brown, to my amateur eyes, is a mismatch made in hell.
  13. It is great to see a player step up in class after he gets his bag.
  14. The bold is my thing. Patrick couldn't make a play, became frustrated and blamed the refs when they had to look at their own failures.
  15. Atlanta needs a QB, probably Pittsburgh also. NYJ, NEP, not sure about Chicago.
  16. I agree that BBB "swung for the fences" and it was cool until the injury. He hasn't been any use this year and it is unfortunate. But at least they took a shot at it. Not making excuses for deplorable behavior but Mr. Miller is likely more frustrated than anyone.
  17. We talk draft when the Playoff dream ends. See you in a few weeks, or a couple of months.
