  1. That is what I thought but that is an awfully bold statement. especially after reading how terrible a pass catcher he is in TDB.
  2. I love that movie and the song Pablo Picasso.
  3. What does Sanchez & J Allen mean when he says Knox is "easily top ten"? Top ten of what, NFL TEs?
  4. It is a very legit and "fair" list imo.
  5. I didnt imagine that, never said or intimated that. And yes a half a billion contract can easily effect a franchise with a value of $2.1 billion, if you can't "imagine" that, it is your problem.
  6. LOL Bro, who cares about 5 years from now.....so in the meantime it is fine for the Chiefs to keep spending millions annually on Mahomes,
  7. Not all but predominantly. Really, so how are the Sports Networks doing right now? Streaming and changing technologies are doing a number of conventional networks. What if there is no NFL this year?
  8. He WAS. That was before Sports effectively stopped and people stopped wanting to go with 75K of their favorite strangers in a stadium for 4 hours. So how is ESPN doing financially lately? QBs MIGHT be topping $75 million in 10 years or might be getting a fraction of that. This concept that football will never drop in popularity is historically and hopelessly naive. The risk of a 10 year deal is unbelievably risky right now.
  9. No one knows what the NFL is going to look like in 10 years. Most "fans" had adopted this mentality that there is no end in sight to the salary cap increasing every year which, certainly, under these new circumstances, is, imo lunacy.
  10. I dont see any reason why it wouldn't be considered legal.
  11. $500 million? If KC shelled out that much more then are absolutely crazy.
  12. Zero reason, really...more like $300 million reasons why or whatever % of the cap he will get. The endless era of every year NFL players getting more every inexorably could end in a heartbeat. The Sports Networks are financialy strapped right now and probably going to get worse, who in their right mind is going to want to shell out XYZ$ for a fooball ticket with 75K other people with COVID going around.
  13. I have heard both Terry and Kim talk and if either of them sounds dumb, is certainly isn't Kim. Kim is smart and savvy. How far she has gotten and grown into the job is pretty astounding, especially for a minority female in a male dominated sport. She is also excellent with the PR and the "human touch " with fans...she isn't all all unapproachable or think she is better than others. I give a lot of credit to Kim and am impressed bu her.
  14. No not at all. Every lottery ticket initially has "value", it CAN win you whatever, odds of you cashing in are way against you put it does have value. 6th round picks have some "value", the odds of getting a good players are 2 way against you but it is possible. In the Brady instance possibly the GOAT. So let me ask you a question, if 6th rounders have "no value" does that mean you stop watching the NFL draft after the fifth? Or you dont know who the Bill s pick in the 6th or 7th, and you could care less about any UDFA they sign. Is that accurate?
  15. he officially punted 5 times in college for ab average of 48 yards
  16. I think singing as an UDFA he would try and be ultra careful until he made the team at least.
  17. Exclude the word 'Sports" from your last paragraph and totally agree
  18. Just reducing the number of drops (which they should do with Diggs and better TE play of Dawson Knox) he should improve again next year.
  19. This is like saying team X wins 95% of the time when they run for over 200 yards. So what is Allen's record when he doesnt hit 60% (which he has never done for a full year).
  20. Does what exactly? Run routes with the new team logo on it? If so we dont have very high expectations of what a "professional does".
  21. Yes he really is, all his questions to Josh were like half a minute with him asking and the effectively answering what he wanted josh to repeat.
  22. From Sporting News "INDIANAPOLIS — He hopes to emulate one of his mentors in Carson Wentz. He shares a physical resemblance to a young Ben Roethlisberger. His throwing velocity has drawn comparisons to other strong-armed predecessors like JaMarcus Russell and Kyle Boller. And his college completion percentage is reminiscent of another major draft bust in Jake Locker."
  23. The similarities always bothered me BUT there is one major difference. Josh Allen loves the game of football and is wiling to be a team leader and work hard to improve. Locker didnt love the game, didnt improve at all and just walked away from the game when he should have been in his prime.
