  1. The problem is not which QB the Pats are gonna start. The problem is which Tyrod Taylor is gonna show up. In case you haven't noticed, New England's defense is pretty damn good.
  2. I understand when people are saying take the points or you'll lose the momentum but a FG is not an automatic thing. Look at Carp: he missed another PAT. The Cardinals botched the snap on the FG try and it resulted in a 10 point swing.
  3. Our first points of the game came on our third possession. Our defense had already forced 3 & outs on Arizona's first two possessions and could be counted on to hold them if our offense failed to punch it in. Would you have gone for it on 4th & goal from the 1 and made a statement? Given the situation, absolutely go for it. What say you?
  4. We're gonna have our asses handed to us so many times this year, we're gonna have forearms like Popeye.
  5. This one's easy. My dad & I were at the '92 Wildcard game vs Houston, aka The Comeback. I'll never forget it. A close second would be the '90 home finale vs Miami. Kelly was out and Reich stepped up with a lot of help from Thurman to help win the East title. I saw one of the goal post uprights being tossed over the top of the visitor side upper deck. Crazy!
  6. I want some flapjacks!
  7. The Sabres ship is certainly righted. We are currently 2nd to last in the conference with a 14-16-4 record. That is awesome. Let's hope we get the same success with the Bills.
  8. None of the teams do. I honestly believe that if New England never had Tom Brady, the Bills may have went to the playoffs once, maybe twice in this millennium based on their drafting, coaches, and performance of the division opponents. This team has reeked for a while and for good reason.
  9. I have nothing to add. The previous comments pretty much sum up my feelings.
  10. I'm still twisted pissed about losing to Jacksonville. I think Houston beats us, Rex loses the teams' trust, and the fans lose their patience. I'd like us to win out, make the playoffs, and win the Super Bowl but I just don't see it happening this year or with this coaching staff.
  11. I've been following them since 1988 and have witnessed the good times and bad. My father & I were there for the comeback game against Houston. I've seen them live the last four times we've played against Dallas (my folks live in Dallas). I'm in Washington state and took my wife to her first Bills' game last year against New England. I've decided to save my enthusiasm (and attention) for when they make the playoffs. Bandwagon fan, you say? Perhaps. But I feel I've earned it after years of heartbreak, anger, and frustration. This team hasn't made the playoffs since Clinton was president. Maybe they won't make it again until another Clinton is president, who knows? I do know that I'll be glad to get my Sunday afternoons back and not waste them watching hot garbage take the field. I wish the team well and hope they do make it but until then, I'm not done, just dormant. Au revoir.
  12. Sammy takes away the other team's #1 CB.
  13. Karlos' running style more closely resembles Frank Gore's than does Shady's. This might make things easier for Greg Roman when designing his game plan.
  14. Karlos 'Carload' Williams
  15. I think some of his incompletions are from him throwing the deep ball once in a while. If he can get his timing down with Watkins or Harvin on the 40+yd throws, look out!
  16. Aw man, what are you talking about.......
  17. The entire team should feel angry & embarrassed and take it out on Miami next week. I hate losing to the farging Patriots, especially in our own building, but we did and it sucks. Bring on Miami!
  18. Their offense gets points. Ours gets punts.
  19. The thing I noticed about Edelman, besides being a cocky POS, was his ability to break tackles during the Pittsburgh game last week. He'll get his catches, no doubt. We need the first defender to wrap him up and slow him down until the second and third defenders come flying in to crush him and try to force a turnover. In other words, we need to be the bully.
  20. Buffalo 26 Boston 24
  21. We know what to expect from Brady & Belichick (i.e., Darth Vader & The Emperor) this Sunday. Rex & the Bills know what to expect. Rex will have them ready to play. The key is to rattle Brady early so he gets frustrated. His one weakness is his poutiness when he's frustrated. To me, it would be worth a couple of 5 yd and an automatic first down for NE for defensive holding on all of their receivers at the same time so our pass rush can have time to get a few hits on Brady early.
