In Super Bowl XXV, the Bills were who we thought they were. Norwood missed a kick over 45 yds on grass in the game (he was not very good from that distance or longer on grass for his career), Bruce Smith was not as effective when teams ran right at him, and the defense overall had trouble stopping great RBs that year, like Marcus Allen, Bobby Humphrey, etc. All of those problem areas were masked by the Bills scoring lots of points but reared their ugly heads in the Super Bowl. That was also the year that there was no two week wait before the game so imagine if Belichick had an extra week to prepare. The Bills may not have gotten 19 points.

I didn't watch the halftime show. I had to get ready for work at halftime so while Moron 5 was playing I went and released the Kraken and took a shower, in that order.

I'll bet that the Rams wished they had Josh's scrambling ability in the Super Bowl. Goff looked like a deer in high beams.

I say it's payback time. We should poach, in free agency, Trent Brown and Trey Flowers from the Paytoilets. This fixes two of our needs and hurts them.

Keep in mind, the kid is only 21. To have a young stud LT with a young QB would do wonders for this team for years to come.

I I am by no means an expert but I do like the prospect of taking an OT in the first round. It's also possible that we could trade down a few spots (Washington?) and still get our guy. I believe the #1 most important thing would be to get Josh Allen a solid O-line. Even if we keep the same WRs and TEs, if he had more time to throw and a reliable running game, courtesy of the O-line, it would make a world of difference next season.

I'm liking this idea after reading this article. I've watched some of his tape on YouTube and it would be nice to have a stud on the O-line. Your thoughts?

I've tossed that idea around many times. I think we would've easily beaten Miami in the AFCCG but we would've still lost to Dallas, only not as bad.

As well as Mahomes played this year, I still happen to prefer Josh Allen over him.

At #9, I'm guessing Beane is either going to draft an offensive or defensive player that he really likes or he's going to trade up or down with another team. I'm pretty sure on this.

I personally suggested to Brandon Beane that on draft day, he should do what he thinks is best for the team. I can't divulge anymore details.

Knowing the Bills, they will probably try to fill all three of their openings at the same time with coaches nobody has heard of or wants.

Don't forget that Eric Wood retiring and Ritchie Incognito going bug-fork crazy wiped out 40% of our O-line from the previous season. And that's not counting the right side of our line, which even back then, wasn't that great.

I love the Bills. I hate New England, Miami, and Dallas. I dislike New York (Jets), Jacksonville, and Seattle. The rest of the teams.....meh.

I love that the Bills finally, FINALLY, don't have a QB situation that needs to be resolved going into the offseason. About time.

My story is completely true. Club Diamond Dust was on the corner of Genesee & Transit (now called Scores Buffalo Airport) and was frequented by some of the Bills players after road games. Cheri was good friends with NT Jeff Wright (frequent customer) so she wanted to go to the game.
