  1. Hopefully McDermott, Frazier and McDermott create an effective game plan vs NE. Bills need to improve in the RZ, don’t gift NE any turnovers and tackle well. This is a huge game for the Bills if we want to win the division. Worried Dawkins is going to be out. NE has Mac throwing quickly which will mitigate any pass rush. The D has to bow up this week. If they can get out of NE with a win the 10 days before their next game will be very beneficial for their overall health. Would be nice for the Bills to leave no doubt early against NE and bury them.
  2. With our current health, I hope our remaining schedule doesn’t change. I’m good after the NE Thursday game playing the rest of the regular season on Sunday.
  3. Everything with NE is mostly quick passes which is gonna minimize any Bills pass rush. Will need to tackle well and our LB and secondary are gonna need to make plays. Bill’s also can’t make stupid mistakes against NE.
  4. And in reality if he would have just focused on breaking up the pass instead of going for an interception on 4th down, it would have never occurred. Rewatching it really punctuates a very bad defensive play based upon the situation. I somewhat disagree. It’s not like those teams played great against the Bills. It was more the Bills continuing to make self inflicted mistakes and turnovers. Everyone of those games if the Bills executed basic football fundamentals, they would have easily won all of those games.
  5. Is it too optimistic to believe Morse, Dawkins, Groot, AJ and Edmunds will all be back vs NE? Obviously Von will be out and Tre’s workload should increase. Not sure how bad Dawkins ankle is but hopefully minor. If not would hope everyone is ready to go against the Jets with the extra time off after playing next Thursday. Cautiously optimistic we can be close to full strength down the stretch! LETS GO BUFFALO!
  6. It’s probably accurate to state both coordinators need to be better. I give a Dorsey a slight pass as it’s his first year. Frazier is a former HC and experienced DC. The lack of pressure or calls to generate pressure is ridiculous. He continues to let mid tier QB’s pass on them with ease. Yes they’ve had injuries but consistently letting teams go on long score drives and converting on 3rd a long is troubling. The 4th qtr D has been atrocious lately. Something has to change.
  7. They are a good offense when you’re tackling stinks, give Goff plenty of time, give the receivers plenty of cushion and allow them to continue converting 3rd and longs. It’s been a reoccurring trend by the D for most of the season.
  8. You realize we play MIA again so that scenario isn’t valid.
  9. In addition to the secondary, rarely does the DL beat their man one on one outside of Von. Watching other teams it seems to happen more frequently For example, I counted 3 times today that Bates totally whiffed on his man. For all the money and draft capital that went into the front four they have to start making a bigger impact. Especially with a depleted secondary.
  10. McKenzie looked liked he was struggling to understand the play calls today.
  11. Go Chargers. Mahomes has a lot more weapons on O and Reid does a great job of scheming them compared to Josh. We gotta start getting more consistent production outside of Diggs in the receiving core.
  12. Yet Bills had every opportunity to beat both of them but continued to make self inflicted mistakes. I can somewhat excuse the MIA game but the losses to the Jets and Vikings were just bad by the entire team and coaching staff!
  13. I would add ST A+ 8 scores but only 2 TD’s isn’t good! They continue to get very little from their slot WR and seems like they don’t even try to get Cook, Hines or McKenzie the ball in open space. Still numerous question marks for me and they better be ready to go against Detroit. 7-3 and still haven’t play four solid qtrs in a game yet.
  14. Agree D has some consistent issues. Front four isn’t getting it done consistently and the D continues to give up big plays in the 4th qtr. Fortunately the Browns couldn’t recover a gifted onside kick or we very possibly would have blown another big lead. It’s ridiculous how this team doesn’t understand basic football at times. Almost every QB we’ve played this year have had solid games. That has to change.
  15. Good find ways to get your playmaker the ball.
  16. That bust led his team to victory against us so what does that say about our team. For all tge accolades that is stated about our D, they continue to struggle in big moments.
  17. Most disappointing is I do not see this coaching staff learning and developing. How many ways does he and his staff need to lose games on basic fundamentals? Year after year! We can all understand once in awhile strange things happen but this is beyond ridiculous. Everyone of the examples below the game should have NEVER come down these situations. Houston 4th and long…..players are way far back and out of position (coaching) AZ………..knock it down (coaching) KC 13 seconds. Missed communication on kickoff, Chiefs have all three timeouts and you let them run free and this was AFTER you called two timeouts….(coaching) Minny…….4th and forever…..knock it down which should have been stressed with the two minute warning…(coaching) McDermott and Frazier are content with a bend but dont break D that rarely adjusts to what’s occurring in the game hoping to get home with four. Yes there have been injuries this year but ALL the more reason to reinforce fundamentals and game situations. You traded for a safety (Marlowe) that knows your D but yet you start a safety who’s never started? Coaching I’m convinced this coaching staff has no clue what to do with the RB’s and how they can be used to make this offense even better. And that includes Beane in evaluating RB talent. The game yesterday in the 2nd half was horrible on so many fronts. Not kicking the FG to go up 13. Not utilizing the run game when the clock is your friend. One possessions they went 3 and out and used roughly 40 seconds off the clock in the 4th qtr with the lead. THATS ALL COACHING!
  18. It’s not that they lost it’s how they are losing which is infuriating. Turnovers, self inflicted mistakes, blowing leads, inability to effectively run the ball especially in short yardage, lack of adjustments, poor in game decision making and situational coaching are ALL major issues and common trends under this coaching staff. Sure it’s easy to flush away one, but each season this continues to happen. At some point you have to question is the HC and his staff actually learning and improving. Those you cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. How they are losing is becoming a consistent theme with McDermott and frankly what McDermott says needs to start showing up on the field in key moments!
  19. Especially when your offense has only scored 3 pts in the 2nd half. Kick the FG and MAKE MN beat you by scoring TWO TD’s. Just an asinine decision by McDermott. ZERO reason to be aggressive in that situation. Even after the sack to make it 4th and 18 with two minute warning did anyone on the coaching staff reinforce the situation and what to do? Or were they too busy celebrating like they won the game on 3rd down?
  20. Hell they could have tried multiple hard counts and take a penalty if it didn’t work. But get Minny to jump just once and you kneel down in victory. This coaching staff is struggling in big moments. Houston game on 4th down, ARIZ last play, KC 13 secs and now this. Expecting MUCH MUCH more from this coaching staff.
  21. Disagree they would have needed TWO TD’s instead of a TD and FG. Big big difference.
  22. And would have been just a simple play by Lewis to make! SMH Not taking a FG to go up 13 to start the 4th qtr was beyond defensible. Minny would have needed TWO TD’s to win. Still beyond PO’d about that decision.
  23. Didn’t we say this after the MIA game, then again in the 2nd half of the Packers, then again after the Jets game and now yet again after losing to MINNY. This isn’t about fire….it’s about consistently executing and adjusting to changes the other team is making. Both of which the coaching staff and team aren’t doing.
