  1. The Bills have opened on the road the last two years. Would think they open at home this year.
  2. Not surprising. Hopefully he really comes into his own this year. Beane has thrown a ton of resources (draft annd FA’s) into the DL and I think it’s fair to say we’ve all expected more impact. The 2021 draft class by Beane has been average thus far. The Basham pick still makes me scratch my head. Round 1: No. 30 - Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami Round 2: No. 61 - Carlos Basham Jr., DE, Wake Forest Round 3: No. 93 - Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa Round 5: No. 161 (from LV) - Tommy Doyle, OT, Miami (OH) Round 6: No. 203 (from WAS through LV, MIA, and HOU) - Marquez Stevenson, WR, Houston Round 6: No. 212 (from NO through HOU) - Damar Hamlin, S, Pittsburgh Round 6: No. 213 - Rachad Wildgoose, CB, Wisconsin Round 7: No. 236 (from CAR) - Jack Anderson, OG, Texas Tech
  3. I’m not ready to move on from Beane as he’s provided McDermott with a competitive roster. One could argue with a different coach they may have already won a SB. While McDermott gets credit for establishing a winning culture and raising expectations, he continues to fail in the playoffs. He’s 5-6 with really one solid win over Baltimore that is his marquee playoff win. As a reminder Lamar got knocked out with a concussion. Most of the playoff wins have come against lower tier QBs. His losses in the playoffs have been gut wrenching and have highlighted his coaching deficiencies against other quality coaches. @Jags, @Houston, @KC, home against Cinncy and KC were all very winnable games and yet the Bills under MCDermott found ways to give those games away! My patience and confidence that McDermott can get this team over the hump has greatly diminished. At this point, the excuses have run out and his seat should be getting much warmer. This season should tell us a lot!
  4. Initial reaction to our 2024 draft class?
  5. Hyde was much more of a ball hawk than Cole is. Cole only had 3 INT’s in college.
  6. Maybe later in the year but not sure he will early in the season.
  7. Okay with trading back but do it for a 2025 pick not more picks in 2024!
  8. I would have never bet we’d trade down four times in the draft. I actually would have bet the opposite. Please tell me Beane has some targets in FA or working on a player trade. Otherwise I’m struggling with what he’s doing this year besides adding depth players. Coleman is possibly the only starter coming out of this draft. Ugh!
  9. Love our draft capital in 2025 along with our freed up cap space.
  10. Three year starter against top talent in the SEC. If he only plays C for us and does it well I don’t care about position flexibility! Might be our best overall pick thus far.
  11. Solid pick as we need more power and depth at C. Resume is impressive. Any ideal on why he slide to the 5th round?
  12. Don’t dispute that but it’s also fair to point out if not for MIA epic collapse last season our streak would have ended. Again if the Jets stay healthy, they will be very competitive. Their roster is loaded and it’s not like we’ve rolled them. Hell we lost to Zac Wilson twice!
  13. Jets by far have the best overall roster in the AFCE. If they stay healthy, they should be really good. They’ve had a solid draft.
  14. I’m surprised they didn’t take Braelon Allen as well. Bigger back and 4 years younger!
  15. Either Beane is not a fan of this draft group or he’s content with the roster. I don’t see where we’ve improved the roster. Really disappointing thus far!
  16. With the glaring lack of a true #1 on the roster, I’d love to know if Beane is content rolling into the season with the current WR group. Makes me wonder if he’s looking at a potential trade after the draft for a more proven WR or kicking the tires on anyone left in FA. IMO, he needs to be aggressive today in the 4th round.
  17. Along with the Bears and Philly, I’ve liked what Pittsburgh has done. Thus far the Bills draft feels meh for me thus far. Hopeful Beane is aggressive in round four and goes and gets the players they like. Braelon Edwards, RB, Wisconsin would be a nice youthful power back to add to the offense. Still need to look at WR, IOL, CB and P today.
  18. Bills drafted two positions of need thus far but it’s really hard to come out of this draft excited. The roster needs playmakers added on both sides of the ball. Sure we added some supplemental pieces but at the end of the day, the burden is 100% still upon Josh to carry a heavy burden. IMO, our offense is significantly lacking playmakers. D is solid but lacks any true impactful players. Solid team but come playoffs are flaws are exposed. Was hoping Beane would be more aggressive. Hope I’m wrong!
  19. Give up some of those 3rd day picks and go get who you want!
  20. We switched to YTTV last year from DirectTV. No complaints for the most part. However, I think it’s ridiculous to pay for the Sunday Ticket but not really able to watch all the games as now I need to pay for Prime for TNF and even Peakon. If I’m paying full price for the Ticket I shouldn’t have to pay additional to watch it on other streaming platforms.
  21. I’m okay with Cooper if it’s the pick but I’m more concerned with what their plan is at WR and adding more playmakers to the offense! It’s an arms race on offense and we seem to be very complacent while other contenders load up.
  22. I would have to imagine Beane will be aggressive on Day 2 and package some of the 4th and 5th round picks to move up. Need to add starters at WR and S from the day two picks. Would love Braelon Edwards, RB, Wisconsin as a late 3rd round/early 4th pick. Later rounds most likely addressing depth at DT, DE, IOL and CB Potential rookie punter (Tory Taylor)?
  23. I’m not mad about trading down but to trade with KC and not make them pay extra is beyond ridiculous!
