With Samuel yet again showing up on the injury report along with Palmer, there’s no way Beane can sit idle. That would be atrocious! We really gonna run with Coleman, Shakir, Moore and Shavers? Hopefully Hancock is taking over for Rapp and I would prefer he gets time over Poyer assuming Hancock is good to go.

Hoecht and Ogun BETTER have some impact or it’s only gonna heighten the scrutiny of Beane’s decision making. With 90% of the draft and FA going to the D, he’s hit on Walker and Bosa! He’s whiffed or ignored WR and S. The extensions of Groot, Bernard and Benford are not looking good six games into the season. When you look at this DE rotation, it really brings a spotlight on why we drafted Landon Jackson in the 3rd instead of addressing WR or S? Beane used it as a luxury pick instead of addressing other roster needs for a player that is likely to be inactive most of the season.

The last two weeks the Bills have created self inflicted mistakes and the coaching game plan has been putrid! Take care of the ball, TACKLE and get rid of the pseudo jet deep handoff from center. Things I hope to see: 1. W 2. More crossers by the WR’s 3. Get the ball in space to Cook 4. More bootlegs and QB sweeps by Josh 5. Groot, Benford, Bernard to start showing up consistently! 6. TACKLING! 7. DB’s actually making plays instead of WR’s running 5 yards open. 8. Get off to a fast start 9. Multiple Sacks by the D 10. Did I mention TACKLING!!!! Lets Go Buffalo!

A Few Thoughts about the Falcons Game - Community Edition
TFBillsfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree on so many points. Beane and the ENTIRE staff should be in the hot seat right now! They are literally pissing away a golden opportunity! We spent 90% of our draft and FA on the D! For this? At some point, there has to be accountability. Beane continues to miss in the early rounds and it’s clearly creating roster issues. Outside of Shakir, we have nothing at WR. That’s just criminal. D scheme: It’s beyond maddening how this D gets run over or constantly gives up wide open passes. The D doesn’t pass rush well, cover well or stop the run! That buck has to stop with McDermott as it’s his D. Because our D is so bad, McDermott is running a methodic, time consuming offense. You have Josh as your QB and you’re literally neutering him. Just idiotic! Groot, Benford, Rapp, Tre, Taron are having a very bad season thus far. These are experienced vets who’ve been in your system. You can’t have 5 out of 11 starters that play this bad. Tackling: I’ve never seen a NFL team that tackles so bad. It is just horrible. Dorian Williams, Taron Johnson, Rapp and Bishop are a human highlight reel of missed tackles. If a change were to occur, we have ZERO in house options. -
We will never win a Super Bowl with Joe Brady
TFBillsfan replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just got home from the game. I have major concerns that Brady can adjust when the DC schemes for his predictable offense.. 3 FN weeks in a row we’ve run the reverse and have F’d it up three STRAIGHT times! Two of those times were on 4th down! You need ONE FREAKIN yard with Josh Allen as your QB. It was a CRITICAL point in the game! Tush push, Josh fake handoff, bootleg, QB sweep! WTF Brady! Secondly, watching from the 2nd level, very few times were our WR’s open. Where are the crossers, the rubs, etc. Sorry, but Coleman ain’t it at WR. It’s a 4th WR at best. Third, at some point you have to realize what ATL is doing on D with heavy blitzes. He had ZERO answers. Lastly, I see zero creativity or the ability to scheme guys open. ZERO! Josh CANT throw either of those INT’s. Those were rookie mistakes and just horrible decisions. I wont even say anything about Beane, McDermott or Babich in this thread! But they are just as bad! -

Two huge calls by the refs that are altering the game. Phantom Offside and if that was PI on White, I don’t know how you play D. Just atrocious officiating. Regardless our D is just trash! -

Wilson, Waddle, Olave should all be in play. I’d kick the tires hard on Budda Baker at S as well.

I’ve been clamoring for the past few weeks that I’d like to see them run more uptempo at times. Quit letting the opposing D sub and keep them on their heels! -

It was the right call but does anyone think that the on field refs truly made that call? -

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

I wonder how much revenue the Bills will bring in once they start selling items from the current stadium? The turf, the seats, etc. Someone will probably even buy the men’s troughs! -
I was thinking the same. With how this season is shaping up, I’d really like to see Beane be aggressive and go get a difference maker at WR or on D. I don’t even care if that requires giving up some draft capital to do it.

I hope as well but my expectations are minimum. Hoecht is an undrafted player that has played 4 seasons in the NFL. He has 13.5 sacks or roughly 3.5 per season. That doesn’t move the bar for our DL IMO. In reality, our D is what it is and I think it’s gonna be a major liability all season. Our secondary is hanging by a thread. Our LB core is Bernard, Williams and Shaq. Not expecting Milano to even get back to 💯 this year. And the DL just disappears far too often when it matters. Our reserves are former players that probably weren’t getting signed anywhere else! IE: Jordan Phillips, Jordan Poyer and Dane Jackson i don’t see how anyone can look at this and say the Bills are really serious about winning a SB! We’ve gone into yet another season where it’s all on Josh! As others have stated, you take Josh out of the equation and we’d be looking at a six win season based upon the roster. -

Even worse when you consider 95% of FA and the draft was spent on improving the D! -

LOL…..but seriously what gives you any confidence they’d actually draft an immediate impactful player based upon their track record? -

I know injuries are unpredictable but my lord! Hairston, Sanders and Strong all with significant injuries. Add in Hancock’s late preseason injury and this class is trending to have minimal impact this season. Walker and Hawes looking like the only ones that will contribute. Still not sure what they saw drafting Landon Jackson in the 3rd. Couple that with last year’s draft class with key injuries to Coleman, Bishop and Carter and the trend looks even worse. Carter looks like another wasted third round pick. Then let’s add in the amount of money Samuel is costing with almost zero return and who can’t stay healthy. Then sprinkle in Milano and two guys that had PED violations and its quite astonishing. At some point you have to really question what is occurring in scouting, drafting and free agency. -
