  1. Don't forget that Allen led an ostensibly game-winning drive, delivering that effing strike to Diggs against Peterson to "win it." I wasn't even upset when Hopkins hauled in that TD. I was still focused on the thing that matters most, which is the continued ascension of the Bills passing offense under Josh Allen (and Stefon Diggs). Allen was money when it mattered. And now the entire organization, led by Allen, seems to play like it matters EVERY PLAY.
  2. Maybe it's been said already, but it was mentioned on the broadcast that Jones wasn't really designed to be part of Allen's read progression on that play... Allen's eyes stayed left before finally looking right and noticing a bison out there all alone.
  3. Except Allen and Diggs are likable, decent dudes. (Reed IS likable but in an outdated, chauvinistic, hide-your-wives-and-daughters kind of way.)
  4. Do I run out of "Likes" or "Awesomes" or "Thanks" or "Hahas" at some point?
  5. No doubt a mobile QB to complement their power running scheme gives NE the best chance to beat this Bills team, even if that mobile QB has been woeful through the air this season (as evidenced by the ugly stats you're citing). Had us on the ropes in that first matchup, after all. Methinks Stidham would be absolutely hopeless against the Bills D. At least Cam adds that rushing threat and likewise enhances their running game overall.
  6. That implies arc and parabolic precision. I think "laser" or "howitzer" are perfect descriptions.
  7. New England's defense will be MUCH tougher to surmount this time around, given Gilmore's availability. Really curious to see if Daboll and Allen will go after that 1v1 matchup (Diggs vs Gilmore) next week. Man coverage offers opportunities for big plays if they can execute at a high level. I remain a bit bearish on the Bills' overall offensive prospects AT New England this late in the season (high volume of 2020 Buffalo film to study and tendencies to prepare for, PLUS whatever communications/surveillance shenanigans await us in their building)...it can be a lot to overcome.
  8. To those saying no: when did you have your tear ducts removed and how much did it cost?
  9. I'm not going to count on a sweep of the team in Foxboro (who shall not be named) until it happens. They are still a difficult matchup, and they'll most likely have Gilmore this time around. They are a physical team who plays good defense. Kind of like Miami. And, to a lesser extent, Denver. So I'm going to enjoy one game at a time, and be thankful for the games we do win.
  10. All right, everyone, we've fixed the NFL's scheduling, seeding, and roster management regulations. What's next?
  11. Got 2021 season tix, for the first time in a LONG time. (Granted, I spent the majority of my adult life away from WNY, and when I returned in 2012, neither my finances nor the team's prospects were looking good...until recently.) So, here's to you, WNYers. Take care of each other so we can all get back to the things we love.
  12. But confirmation bias, when applied selectively, does wonders for confirming otherwise debunked narratives. Duh.
  13. Actually, Josh said they could do the talking AND the dancing, and we do the ***** work. For the sake of accuracy and Allen being a badass leader of men.
  14. I actually thought his false start was too close to call. Almost like in track-and-field, when a sprinter doesn't have to actually leave the blocks BEFORE the gun to be in violation; anticipating the snap TOO well looks like a penalty.
  15. Help me better understand your evaluation: was tonight's performance by Williams an "8" in your eyes? (It's probably obvious that I value his single-handed elimination of Watt more than you do. Aside from a false start, one could argue he was elite against an elite opponent, allowing Daboll to call plays straight up, without dedicating extra blockers or shorter drops or limited routes.)
  16. Okay...but why don't the Bills pay him? I'm interested in the choices Beane might make this offseason.
  17. Not just "sackless" but only 1 solo tackle and 1 assist. Really neutralized. Surprised the Steelers didn't move him around more.
  18. McDermott just now asked about Williams' play tonight in his presser. The secret is out. I think Feliciano's toughness, versatility, and character means a great deal to this football team.
