  1. Keep in mind, Powell is available this week
  2. All while Tre had another outstanding day!
  3. I mentioned that to my wife, too. You'd at least think the brand new stadium would bring a bunch of hype, at least for the first couple home games... and considering they're the defending NFC champs. I know ATL isn't a football town, but still.... I was shocked.
  4. Continued preparedness and discipline. Don't beat ourselves and we'll be in this thing.
  5. While I like Hauschka, I couldn't help but laugh at the "stat" the Bills put on this... "He is the first kicker in the NFL to do this since Chris Boswell (12/18/16)" Thats like 5 regular season weeks. So he's the first to do this in less than a half a season! Totally crazy!!!
  6. ouch. Hard to watch. Guy needs to sit down a couple games. My take? You hit a guy like that, and you have to sit out every game until the player you hit can come back and play. You make a hit like that and take a guy out for the season? You sit out the season too. Unpaid. Crap will stop real quick.
  7. you missed this part... While the last two meetings in 2016 were lopsided games in Atlanta’s favor (more on that later), that wasn’t always the case. In a six-game span during the 2012 to 2015 seasons the Panthers won five of six matchups, including back-to-back games where Carolina outscored the Falcons 72-3.
  8. What an amazing young man. Worked his entire life to make it to the NFL, finally gets a paycheck.... and donates it to those ladies. Absolute class act. Well done young man!
  9. Yeah, I agree. 2 STOUT run defenses... kind of dilutes the stats a little bit. I think those numbers will definitely improve. I know it's the Jets, but he did have a great day against them, with the same blocking scheme (I assume. That's one area I don't know a whole lot about.)
  10. I think the biggest thing about this that people are forgetting is that we traded BACK, picked up an additional first rounder, and still got this kid who's already contributing big time, and still has a huge upside!
  11. Guy catches everything thrown his way, while still kind of staying under the radar. Just what we need. I love the guy!
  12. This has a 2-1 Buffalo team ranked BEHIND a horrendous 0-3 Giants team. Taking it with a grain of salt.
  13. I know a lot of guys on here don't like Dennison (or Tyrod for that matter) but isn't this what you want? A coach who schemes for the players that are actually on his roster? I for one would certainly prefer that than for a guy to design an offense around Tom Brady when that's just not who we have.
  14. Great work man. Awesome for us who don't get to see all of the games. Most are not on TV here in the carolinas. only get panthers or falcons. Thankfully we'll be on this weekend!
  15. I'm not expecting a win. I think a loss by 7 or less should be considered a "win" for this team (I know I know I know, it's still a loss). If we can at least hang with these guys and we're only 4 games into a new coaching staff/new system, with serious talent deficiencies on the offensive side.... I'd be ok with that.
  16. oh good god. The guy played exactly 3/4 of ONE season for us. Not exactly "wall of fame" material there.
  17. great post, OP. I love seeing these kinds of stats that you have to dig up. Agreed. Definitely can't come out and go 3-and-out on our first drive. We HAVE to get on the board early. If we have to play from 10 points behind, that kind of football is just not our strength.
  18. Everything I've seen actually is giving some mad respect to the bills and their fans. A lot of people on their board saying this game is going to be closer than a lot of people think. Generally, most of their fans were posting that they'd love to see us win every game (except for the one against them, of course). Actually some intelligent conversation going on over there.
  19. Talking about the refs.... huge hold not called on the Charles TD run that literally was the reason he scored. I think it was jerry that got tackled
  20. Just watching the game, though, you can tell how much more prepared we are. I don't think we've burned a timeout before 2minutes left in a half yet this year. No confusion before the snap.
  21. My big takeaway from today is something that makes me super excited for the future of this team. This team is extremely well prepared, disciplined, and coached. This is so refreshing after the last several years. Even though I've known since well before the season started that this was essentially a throwaway season, I'm so excited for the future, as long as the Pegula's give McDermott enough time. I was impressed what they've been able to do with such a lack of WR talent. Last week was tough, no doubt. But we're essentially one play away from being 3-0 right now (I know this doesn't matter in the W-L column) and it's because of the way this team is coached. They were totally prepared and ready for the fake punt. It's almost like they knew it was coming. This is 100% coaching and preparedness. The penalties are way down. And we don't turn the ball over. No matter the talent level, these things will keep us in a lot of games. I came into this season thinking 4-12, maybe 5-11. And I had accepted that, knowing that not having Sammy and Darby in the short term was going to be well worth it because we have 6 picks in the first three rounds next year and we may be able to finally get our QB. After seeing the way these guys played today, I think 9-7 is a real possibility. I know injuries happen, etc. but Dareus wasn't on the field today and we held them to 16 points... the same team that put up over 40 on the 'girls last week. I know tyrod isn't the guy that's gonna take us to the next level, but the guy just doesn't turn the ball over
  22. When we blew a lead in New England on a Monday night. I think McKelvin fumbled a kickoff (may have been a punt) late in the game that let the pats back in it. I about rage quit being a Bills fan.
  23. Not all of us fancy high-rollers have one of those buttons!!!!
  24. Well that took long. 2 games in and the "Dick Jauron" posts have already started. I, for one, am pretty excited about how well our defense has played so far. That was such a HUGE frustration last year with the "defensive mastermind" Ryan brothers calling the shots. You can't tell me that you expected this offense to be stellar. We have no weapons. Sure, you can blame McDermott and Beane for that, but the long term gain, I firmly believe, outweighs the short-term loss. I'm a lifelong diehard Bills fan. I cheer for them every week. Hell, I was in the stands in Charlotte on Sunday. But I came into this season knowing that we weren't going to be very good on offense, but that the long-term benefit (hopefully) will be well worth the struggle. Just my two cents.
