  1. Thompson actually got to practice though. Definitely a different situation. He just got to B'lo late Tuesday night, they leave today for NJ.
  2. No, I think this ones the best. "The guy who should be our GM giving the guy that should never be a GM the big hairy D. and an L. Hold that L Marty you poo bag. You fugin sit there and HOLD IT!!"
  3. I live in Charlotte. Not a single one of my panther-fan friends are the least bit thrilled. They're all like.. seriously?!?!? I drove by Bank of America Stadium on my way home tonight, smiling and saying thank you!
  4. What are the chances he goes to SF, plays out the year, and re-signs with NE in free agency? Is there a rule to prevent something like that?
  5. I'll take Tyrods 20-27 for 165 with a WIN over Deshaun Watson's 400-plus yard game with a loss any day of the week. I heard a crazy-ass stat on the game today. Since he's been with the Bills, Tyrod has 56 TD's (combined passing and rushing) and just 14 turnovers. That's pretty damn sporty.
  6. I was ready to turn it off after the "offensive pass interference" he called against the damn AstroTurf.... then the very next drive Crabtree pushes off on a big pass down the sideline, and NOTHING.
  7. Not really. He said "they dont do a lot very well on either side of the ball regularly" So no.
  8. Horrific. As a father, I cannot imagine.
  9. About the only show I can listen to anymore is Mike and Mike. LeBatard doesn't even talk about sports. Bomani Jones just talks about how he hates white people. Too much SJW'ing going on. Keep politics out of sports. If i wanted politics, I'd tune to one of those channels. I tune to ESPN radio to listen to sports. The only one that sticks to strictly sports with actual good insight is Mike and Mike.
  10. Absolutely a dirty hit. Flacco was clearly giving himself up.
  11. Hm. I was told by a bunch of people on here we'd be in third place this morning.
  12. Oh dear. Here we go.
  13. I truly think we'll split with the Pats. We'll win at the Ralph, and we'll lose in Foxboro. I'm honestly not all that worried about Miami. They haven't looked all that good with Cutler. Sure, Moore stepped in and brought them back to win, but NY was game planning for Cutler. With a week of film, they'll struggle. Even if they get Cutler back... they were pretty crappy even with him. Not a concern. Doesn't mean those games aren't important. We still need to take care of business.
  14. Did anybody watch the video at the top of the page? Ouch. "A staff of idiots."
  15. I'm not going to sit here and say Tyrod is the answer, but good god if I had to watch that every week, I'd pull my hair out. Worse than I already do. That was atrocious last night. Sidenote - I do watch it every week, as I live in Charlotte and it's always the only game on, but it's different when you actually care.
  16. We need to cut back on the acronym use.... After reading FA RT, I couldn't focus on anything else you posted.
  17. Kind of like that win against Denver?
  18. I heard it too, but it sounded to me like he was making it a positive thing. No distractions, you can focus on working and getting better.
  19. I don't really have a problem with it, but you just CAN'T do that. It's such a bad look.
  20. I'll go 0-16 in fantasy if it means the Bills get to the playoffs!
  21. Not necessarily. It depends on how we lose. If we come out and just look like garbage, unprepared (I HIGHLY doubt that will happen with this coaching staff), etc, then yes. If we lose a close game because of some bad bounces and bad calls and injuries (which we've certainly been the beneficiaries of so far this season - that always seems to come back and get you on the other side) then I won't be too concerned, although this a big game, a conference opponent, and momentum into the bye if we win. Although Tasker had a good take on the John Murphy Show this week... He said essentially that good teams just get the bounces and calls to go their way, bad teams generally dont. We haven't seen many go our way over 17 years, but we haven't been any good either. I think Cincinnati is a bit better than people think they are and their record indicates. I know the board will blow up if we lose "to a team whose only other win was against the Browns." It'll be chaos on here.
  22. I was a 4-12 to 5-11 guy, just due to talent deficiencies, knowing that the long term gain (early-round draft picks) was worth it. But after watching these past 4 weeks, I think the ceiling (while VERY unlikely - that's why it's the "ceiling") is 12-4, I think ANYTHING less than 9-7 would be considered a colossal failure after seeing the way we've played so far. This isn't the flukey "good starts" that we've had in the past where we rode Fitz's hot streak but were ultimately a very poorly-coached team. I think 10-6 is more realistic. As another poster pointed out, that win against Denver could end up being huge in a wildcard tie-breaker.
