  1. I don't know about all of that, but I'll say this. I came over from the BBMB. I never really posted over there, just used it to pick up news/rumors, etc., and to get people's (other than the "experts") take on the team. I love it over here, and spend a lot of time on these boards every day, if not posting, just browsing and staying up on what's going on.
  2. I'm excited. First year of the new coaching staff and a so-called "rebuild" and we're sitting here in the conversation in week 17. This season was VASTLY better than probably anyone's realistic expectation given the circumstances. I know people will jump to the whole "The roster is McBeane's fault!" garbage, but if he can coach THIS group of guys to 9-7 and a playoff berth? It has me excited where he can take us once he and Beane get the chance to build the roster their way. Anybody who's still complaining at this point needs to just go the hell away.
  3. Is it sad that this is my first instinct/reaction pretty much every single week, regardless of who is officiating our games?
  4. God almighty it was brutally hot that day, and my lazy butt was sitting in the stands.
  5. Chiefs. We've already beaten them once.
  6. The official was also "right there watching the entire play" in the Kelvin Benjamin play, too. We all know how that turned out, too.
  7. The bigger issue to me was this. In no replay that CBS showed did any camera angle show the first down sticks. They didn't even place the ball and freaking measure. Just automatically awarded them the first down.
  8. To me it was always "Make a football move" i.e. 2 steps, making a cut, etc. Which is, in my opinion, what the Steelers receiver did. Had clear possession and then made a football move
  9. 14 points off turnovers, preferably defensive touchdowns. I don't have faith the offense can convert on a consistent basis
  10. Welcome, and Go Bills!
  11. Yeah. One of those things that's impossible to prove.
  12. I'd like it... However, if he still had it, they wouldn't have released him.
  13. It doesn't matter. We wouldn't have won that game with any quarterback that day. It's a moot point.
  14. Oh I know it's not happening. It's just a garbage product. Now, if they wanted to package it so that every team that's playing on TNF has a bye the week before, it'd be different. But you can't do that because there are TNF games every week, and you cant give someone a bye week in week 2
  15. I hope the "changes" they're willing to consider include GETTING RID OF IT
  16. The best part about it, is we're going to have a shot at it in week 17, regardless of what happens in Foxborough. Obviously, I want to open up a can of whoopass on the Pats* but even if we lose, we still have a shot in the final week of the season. Considering it's the first year of a new system, with a talent-deficient roster, It's exciting thinking about the future of this team, even if we dont make the dance this year.
  17. I live in Concord, and like I said, there's at least five houses in my neighborhood that fly Bills flags.
  18. The number of people I see at the Target in Kannapolis on a game day morning wearing Bills gear is pretty nuts. We actually went there after the Colts snow game and even one of the kids working was like "Go Bills!" because my son and I were wearing our Bills stuff.
  19. I currently live just outside of Charlotte, and it's actually quite astonishing how many Bills fans live here, for Buffalo being a small-market, perennial loser. In my neighborhood alone, there are at least five different houses (that I know of) that are Bills fans because they either have flags, stickers on their cars, or what not. I'm sure there are even more. Furthermore, at my work I meet lots of Bills fans. I always have my Bills-painted Yeti cup on my desk and I'm always surprised how many Bills fans I come across.
  20. He's been fantastic. When McCoy comes out for a couple plays, you don't have to worry about a drop in production. You can run the same plays and get good results... Before, it was Tolbert up the middle for no gain.
  21. I don't think we'd have beaten the Chargers no matter who played QB. The game I look back to is week 2 against Carolina... Down 6, driving inside the red zone, ball in the air and Zay couldn't bring it in. What a signature win that'd have been against a real good Carolina team. Also would've really boosted up our Strength of Victory (which is one of the tie breakers). Thankfully, our SOV is better than all of the teams we're competing with for a wildcard spot - if it comes down to a three-way tie.
