[Vague Title] Richie, Richie, Richie SMH
billsbackto81 replied to Watkins90's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe, but to his credit KB played through injury and may have been productive if Tyrod looked his way every so often. Plus he appears healthy this season and ready to play. As far as Murphy goes, I didn’t like the signing either but if he shows up for the opener with a pair of sacks and plays well I’ll be happy to eat crow. -

A Quick Release for the Skins ...

I remember him on the Rams when we last played them. I believe he's the same guy. He did pretty well in that game if I remember correctly. Eh, looked it up. He went 3 catches for 50 some odd yards. Shady destroyed them going 18 carries for 150 -
AJ gone and no vet QB, are your expectations lower?
billsbackto81 replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not at all. If we get down to our 3rd QB during the season it means we’re on the road to a Top 3 pick. A.J or anyone else for that matter won’t make a difference. We can always pick up EJ or Cardale if it comes down to it. -
So-so in coverage but solid tackler, especially one on one.

He’s the only WR left that can get deep now that Coleman’s gone.

Wow, him and Roquan Smith will prove to be quite formidable.

Fitzpatrick may keep the starting job!
billsbackto81 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This guy just continues to fall in the right place, right time. For a journeyman with no "wow factor" he's done pretty well for himself. Fitzpatrick apparently has the luck of the Irish.. -
Which player do you want the Bills to cut

The non challenge by Mcdermott
billsbackto81 replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand your mindset and true instilling confidence in your young QB is important but as many have mentioned it's preseason and the kid was laboring. They also know he's not as bad as Sundays game. No LT and no starting RB. The O line was a sieve and Cincy had their ears pinned back knowing the kid is trying to impress. I really think McBean have no intention of starting Josh. A first down there IMO would not have helped his cause, just another set of downs to possibly get hurt. Shortsighted? Maybe, but you gotta protect the investment in a meaningless game. -
The non challenge by Mcdermott

C'mon dude. If thats a regular season game that's challenged all day. Probably wanted Josh on the sidelines to calm him down and not press. -
Jalen Ramsey: Gronk is overrated

Perhaps. Maybe some type of new toothpaste with feces removing properties. Lord knows he can use it. -
Saints trade 3rd round pick for Teddy Bridgewater
billsbackto81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would've been the fleecing of the decade if the Jets got a 2nd for a smallish QB who hasn't played in a year and a half after a devastating knee injury. Plus it's not like he set the world on fire when he was healthy. But hey, he's looked great in the preseason? Tell your friends and family they did very well. -

What makes you guys think they wouldn’t offer a 1st and the 3rd they got for Teddy? I would think the Raiders would value a 3rd over Teddy anyway. I think it makes a deal for Mack even more possible. -

Cardinals Colts-win Bears Raiders-win Cleveland Dolphins- win 2x Jets- win 1x Buccaneers-win You can make the argument they are no better. Don't want to hear about potential until it's in an official stat line. -
Every season has twists. The Atl game is one. What if Tre doesn't force and recover the fumble against TB? What if Zay catches that TD against Carolina? What if Tre doesn't intercept KC on their last possession only up 6? Lets not forget the Blizzard game against Indy that could've gone either way. Gotta tell ya man after 17 years I'd like to think they earned it.

This is accurate. The Bills won 9 games last year. Whether you consider it good coaching, opportunistic defense, culture change or good fortune. 9 games won is 9 games won and sometimes its good enough to make the post season regardless of what other teams do. They won the games down the stretch they needed to and Baltimore didn't.

One (maybe two) bright spots from Sunday
billsbackto81 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Usually you have to put forth some type of effort and resistance to get injured. That would explain the O lines performance. -
Seantrel Henderson & Kouandjio

Well then I suggest you go yell at a few funerals and go throw some weights at people at the local gym if you feel that's normal in your world. No charge on the advice? -

We all mourn loved ones lost and some cope better than others. Some of us even lose their jobs for one reason or another like cut backs, downsizing, relocating, etc. That being said, none of these circumstances would justify the actions Richie has taken over the past couple months. Sorry, ain’t buying it. Make no mistake, I miss him on our line but he’s a train wreck right now and out of control. I wish him well. -
