  1. Sign me up! I'll take a JJ Watt without all the injuries.
  2. Not sure if he has the record but he did hold the most current consecutive streak from 50 plus. He actually has a better leg on FGs as opposed to kick offs. He was money in the Houston game.
  3. Just because it's his "long" doesn't mean it's the furthest he can kick.
  4. Miami has the look of paper champions this off season. In all seriousness they seem to be putting together a solid team both offensively and defensively. We're the better squad but they should not be taken lightly.
  5. Don't know about that. KC and Baltimore are still the front runners. Then you have Houston, Tennessee, Pitt ( BB's back), Indy will be tough and of course Buffalo. Bills can be as high as 3 or as low as 6 or 7. Then you have talented teams on paper that may finally turn it around like Cleveland, Denver and Miami. Nothing is given and much as I like JA and his heart and grit he's still lacking the polish of a franchise QB.
  6. What makes you think he would've given the Bills the same courtesy? All we can offer him is a ticket out of DC. We're not exactly in the SB conversation yet.
  7. If I were you I'd test my home and work area for toxic fumes. Taylor, Duggar and Chinn aren't generational talents. Shoot not even the best at their positions but you're picturing them in Gold jackets already. Espenesa is the 4th ranked DE by many and being acquired at 54 is great value.
  8. Never said nor dare compared him to my all time favorite Bill. Just threw out the measurables.
  9. Bruce was 6'4 @ 265 but played as heavy as 275. AJ goes 275
  10. Not upgrade but we can use a complimentary player at RB to go with Devin. Easily acquired through FA. I get a feeling Fournette or Hyde will be a Bill soon.
  11. BPA I guess. Not fast but has power. He will not be bullied at this level.
  12. Dobbins Akers Espenesa Okwara Moss Claypool Who u got? Good players still there.
  13. Good post. One of those 2 could elevate this defense even more, especially considering we don't have that 3rd caliber LB to go with Edmunds and Milano. Klein is serviceable but in a Big Nickel Dugger or Chinn would be a nasty addition.
  14. Love Shady, but we already have that type of back. We need a between the tackles battering ram that picks up the tough short distance yards late in a game.
  15. No QB has ever looked over his shoulder more than Tuh-rod Taylor.
  16. This is why people think the American educational system is failing. Fournette can be had for a bag of tees and Yannick wants a contract over 20 mil a year. Not a ideal scenario. Not opposed to acquiring Fournette though. I think he'd be a nice compliment to Motor without the unnecessary wear and tear load of a work horse.
  17. 1980 and a freshman in HS. (hence the username billsbackto81) Fergy Cribbs Butler Lewis Smerlas That's the team that got me hooked on Buffalo football. Happy Birthday Joe!
  18. I'd like it honestly. Beane was very high on Fournette when he was drafting in Carolina. If he stays healthy it's a great 1-2 punch. The kid is very outspoken though and might be a locker room problem.
  19. Is he from Zumunda or Wakanda? I'll go with Cheyenne O'Grady. Sounds like Pocahontas had a love child with a leprechaun.
  20. Once again, it's not about the player who is by most accounts a consensus top tackle in the draft. It's about compensation and character. He still very well may be one of the first tackles taken regardless. You have to consider who's running the team. A pair joined at the hip that values team first, high character and work ethic. They will gamble on wildcards like Norman, but he's a one year deal that's a perfect scheme fit, not a 1st Rd commitment. The audacity of a young man to perform at the combine knowing he's a dirty urine just screams entitled little s#!+. Maybe there's more to this and some details aren't made available and I'm being too harsh too soon but to me he's a red flag. Would I like him on my team? Heck ya!! Will McBeane? Maybe, but not at the expense of a future 1st rounder.
  21. It's not so much the guy as it is the compensation. Nobody's kicking up a 1st for a guy who failed a drug test. Not even another company. The fact he couldn't stay clean for the biggest audition of his life is a big red flag. Why didn't he just not participate at the combine? He had to know he'd test positive. He could've just let his tape speak for itself and just do a pro day. Probably wouldn't have hurt his stock much, but now....woof! Pissed away a lot of money.
  22. I don't care how talented he is, next years #1 for a guy who just failed a drug test knowing full well it was coming? No way! I don't care if it was weed, and I have nothing against cannabis. That's like one of us going to a 500k a year job interview drunk and expecting to get hired on the spot. With everything we know about this regime do you really think Beane is putting up a future 1st for a combine failed drug test? If he falls and we can trade up with the back end picks we have that's cool. Next years 1st? ? Jeez, some guys here on the board should be tested..
  23. 85% of their current fan base don't go back that far so they wouldn't know the feeling.
