  1. If all DHOP cared about was winning, he'd ALEADY be a Chief or Bill. DHOP is about money. Always has been. He wanted to be the highest paid player when he was in Houston...and Houston at the time was a real up and coming team at that ponit with PRE trouble Watson....they were leading KC 24-0 in a playoff game that if they had won, they would have hosted the AFC title game to following week....he asked out of there at their PEAK so he could be paid. DHOP isn't taking less than OBJ APY.... He'll be a Carolina Panther MUCH LATER on...because something else Dhop doesn't like or do is practice...and he aint going to be a major part of an NFL training camp anytime soon either. Panthers have the cash, the cap and the need. Hopkins wants the money.
  2. probably not really offensive to Sabres fans, and you can't tell in the picture, but I am wearing a St. Louis Blues hat.
  3. Yes...ONE of us has definetly aged well...and the other...not so much. I am incredibly lucky.
  4. Me and Mrs. Zerovoltz. Married 19 and a half years. 1st picture from 2004. 2nd picture is from this week.
  5. ....Patrick Mahomes gets alot of flack for being Married to Brittany (his Brittany) ....but he has more or less been with her since jr. high. She knew him when he wasn't famous, almost quit playing football and so on. She's not a 10, but she's an atrractive lady that he can TRUST. He's not spending any waking moment wondering what she's doing. He can concentrate on football. Look what happend to Russell Wilson once he divorced that meh 7 lady he was married to...and married Ciara? He went from authentic, likable super bowl champ, to manufactured cornbread loser. Wilson has to spend a TON of time cultivating his image and keeping up with the celebrity of his wife....it's no wonder he sucks now. You don't want that for Allen.
  6. IMO....and my apologies if this has been hit on already... The Bills make sense because the team is pushing to win the first Lombardi. You don't think about the next one till you get the first one. The Bills are up agasint the cap....but as is known....you can simply sign a guy to a big bonus with tiny salaries and kick that can. The Bills are already leveraged to win last year, and this year...and the reset is coming soon regardless...so adding some more CAP to have to deal with in a year or 2 isn't really going to matter. I also do think the Bills WR corps isn't some great unit on the whole. Hopkins is an instant upgrade. Also...If Hopkins is actually about the money, he'll end up somewhere esle....like New England.
  7. FWIW....KC has no cap space (as most of you know) They could free up a chunk whenever they resign Chris Jones. HOWEVER, he's waiting for Quenin Williams to be done so that he can be 2nd highest paid DT in NFL (Behind Aaron Donald) Williams deal isn't getting done soon...and so KC isn't going to have cap space anytime soon IF they were interested. I do not think, for the price, KC will be in the market. Hopkins would have to cost about 3-4 million for it to work in KC and he isn't going to be that cheap. Despite the insanity of Chiefs twitter today all about this.....he isn't going to be a Chief. Maybe a Charger...but not a Chief....take that to the bank.

  9. This will sound crazy....I have Cincy going 9-8 and missing the playoffs.
  10. The talking heads gotta talk about something...so they do crap like this. Just look at Vegas Odds....Bills third best fav to win SB at most books. That's top 3 or top 2 in the NFL. Follow the money, not the talking heads. Also...if ever a team was set to regress, it's the Bengals. I will tell anyone who will listen...Orlando Brown is going to get Joe Burrow killed.
  11. After signing Smith.....who they didn't have at the time they signed Taylor, they've decided to just keep Taylor on the right side. Before that signing, he was going to be on the left side. Paying Taylor that money and keeping him on the right is fine. Ramczyk got more fully guaranteed than Taylor (43m to 40) and just as much in total guarantees (60m). Lane makes more per year. McGlinchey got 5 less fully guaranteed and 7.5 less total. It's a RT market deal, in an NFL where the difference between the right and left tackle isn't what it used to be. I remain confident their O line is better than last years.
  12. Here are some I made.... 1. I don't expect these to be popular...it's major color change and thus departure from longstanding tradition. 2. I am not the first person to ever have the idea of adopting the Wyoming Cowboys color scheme to the Bills.... 3. Again...not a popular opinion...especially as a fan of rival team...but I kind of think dark brown and maize is a better color scheme fit for a "Buffalo" themed team... 4. Yes, I know...not alot of originality here...both are Wyoming color scheme rip offs...and one of these is a straight up plagerism of the NDSU Bison logo. That said...here they are in the following posts 1 2 3 4
  13. I readily admit I have nothing at all to back any of this up and that these assumptions on my part....that may be completely wrong. Regardless...this is terrible.
  14. I agree with alot of the sentiment here.... I am confident I speak for ALL Chiefs fans when I say we don't like Jackson either. He comes of as, and IS every bit the untalented, attention seeking, entitled older brother of Patrick Mahomes. A couple things strike me as odd. First, you see a TON of footage of Pat with his dad shagging fly balls, playing sports as a kid etc. Apparently Jackson, bigger and taller than Pat...isn't athletically inclined? Just odd. You'd think he'd be raised up in that same heavily sports leaning environmnet. I have nothing against LGBT folks...to each their own. No problem. That said...It's just been totally assumed since the beginning that Jackson was gay. Until this, he'd never been seen with women in public, and no effort was ever made to suggest he wasn't gay. Those have been the rumors and stories since the beginning. He also seems to be good pals with Brittany. I only bring that up because he's come accross as the "gay friend" alot of women have. I have NOTHING tangible to support any of this...just observation and drawing conclusions on my part. Perhaps he's bi? Again, I don't care....just all seems so wierd. At any rate....we can deal with Britanny....kind of have to....but the Pat Mahomes team needs to get on top of this situation and cast Jackson back to NE Texas where Pats and Jacksons mom still lives. Jackson seems immature and might benefit from the nearness of some parental guidance again. Last thing...I would hope that for Jackson..his brothers fame doesn't make him feel less loved by his parents etc...but I wonder if his dad doesn't show some extreme favortism that contributes to this. Their little sister seems to get plenty of love and attention so I hope Jackson does/did also. That can screw you up...always trying for attention etc. It's a crap situation though regardless of the cause. Dude needs to eat some consequences.
  15. People just do not understand how crappy a pass blocker Orlando Brown is/was and how KC schemed around him and how Mahomes bailed him out. I am CERTAIN that the Bengals, are quickly going to regret putting Brown at LT and thinking that is going to work. It will be evident in short order. Now, is it risky for KC to sign Dawaan Taylor, a career RT and ask him to play LT...yes that involves risk. I am CERTAIN he'll pass block better than Brown did (I do not think he'll be a good run blocker no matter where you put him..KC doesn't care) They like Morris...his tools and traits are outstanding...but he needs work. I haven't been impressed by Niang the rare times he's actually been healthy....and I DO NOT believe Darrian Kinnard is an NFL OT. This left KC thin at OT...but the were every bit as thin last year. I am also CERTAIN that Andrew Wiley was not a good pass blocking RT. He did an admirable job starting all 17 games. He was a great and versatile backup that did the best he could..and will always be loved in KC..but he was not good either. I would tell you that as we sit here today...KC is BETTER at OT...by a good margin...than they were last year. I won't be surprised if Smith starts, or Morris wins the job.
  16. I don't much care for PFF grades...but if you put credence into those....this guy was a higher ranked pass blocker than Orlando Brown. (which isn't hard to believe) He apparently was a horribly graded run blocker. (KC doesn't care about that)
  17. Deal is "UP TP" 9 million. Pretty much they've more or less said he'll start. In reality...he'll start if Taylor can't smoothly transition to the Left side....or more likely, one of 3rd round pick Wanya Morris doesn't win the job, last years 5th rounder Darrian Kinnard (who didn't play at all) can't win the job...Or if Lucas Niang, can't win the job...they have a good insuarnace policy/hedge there. it's a good move to make sure we can put a capable line on the field. I HOPE Smith isn't called on to start and that Morris or Niang has won the job. Kinnard will never be an OT in this leauge...he has slow feet.
  18. 1st round TE is not typically a good idea...... Something of note..A LOT of 1st round TE don't live up to their draft position, and a good number end up being some other teams TE and put up their best numbers on their 2nd team. Since 2004: Last 20 years of Rd 1 TE 2004 1-6 Kellen Winslow II - Browns Had a couple of decent seasons with Cleveland with 1 season of over 1000 yards and 5 TD, moved on to the Buccs and equaled his career high 5 TD two more times with them before flaming out and ultimately ending up in prison for being a complete waste of humanity and talent. 1-32 Benjamin Watson - Patriots Had 5 unremarkable seasons in New England with a few red zone TD's mixed in. Went on to put up WAY more impressivie numbers for hte Saints AND Ravens in a long, productive career. 2005 1-30 Heath Miller - Steelers Had a long reasonably productive 10 year career, all with the Steelers. Never broke 1000 yards or over 8 TD in a season. 2006 1-6 Vernon Davis - 49ers Davis had a long 15 year career, the first 11 with the 49ers. Never broke 1000 yards, and did have 13 TD seasons two different times, but never more than 7 in any other seasons. 1-28 Mercedes Lewis - Jaguars Remarkably still playing...but in his career year, he had 58 catches 700 yds and 10 TD in year 5. Never come remotely close to any of these numbers in any of his other seasons. 2007 1-30 Greg Olson - Bears Great 13 year career, first 3 unremarkable seasons in Chicago, then took off with Carolina, where he had many brilliant seasons. 2008 1-30 Dustin Keller - Jets Played all 5 seasons of his career in NY...never more than 5 TD in a season, never broke 700 yds. Blew out his knee, ending career. 2009 1-20 Brandon Pettigrew - Lions Played all 7 seasons with lions...had a couple 700 yard years with 4 and 5 TD respectively. 2010 1-21 Jermain Gresham - Bengals Played 5 seasons with the Bengals. Had a 596 yard season wtih 4 TDs and a 700 yard season with 5 TDs his 2nd and 3rd seasons, never broke 400 yards after that, and had one other season with 5 TD. 2011 No TE taken in round 1 2012 No TE taken in round 1 2013 1-21 Tyler Eifort - Bengals Eifort played 8 seasons in the NFL. in his 3rd season he had 500 yards and 13 TD. In his other 7 years combined he had 13 TD total. and never came close to 500 yds etc again either. 2014 1-10 Eric Ebron - Lions Didn't do much in 4 years with Lions, but had a career year in Indianapolis in year 5, with 750 yds and 13 TD. He never came close to that total in any season prior or after. 2015 No TE taken in round 1 2016 No TE taken in round 1 2017 1-19 OJ Howard - Buccs Going on 6 NFL seasons, first 5 with Tampa..rookie year had 6 TD. 2nd season had 5 TD and broke 500 yards...has since fallen off cliff, now in Houston. 1=23 Evan Engram - Giants First 5 seasons in New York, had over 700 yds and 6 TDs in rookie year. Never made it back to those totals until last season, his first in Jacksonville setting career highs in receptions 73 and yards 766 with 4 TD. 1-28 David Njokwu - Browns has played all 6 seasons in Cleveland...had a couple of 600 yd, 4 TD seasons, in 2018 and 2022. Other seasons are unproductive. Missed many games to injury over the years and has never played a full season. 2018 1-25 Hayden Hurst - Ravens Had 2 very invisable seasons in Baltimore....overshadowed and beaten out be Marc Andrews, drafted in round 3 of the same draft. After 2 years was traded to Atlanta where he had career high 56 catches 571 and 6 TD. hasn't come close to matching that, and is now on his 3rd team in Cincy. 2019 1-8 TJ Hockenson - Lions Played 3 and half seasons with Detroit...best year with lions was 2nd year over 700 yds, 6 TD. Half season with Lions and other half with Vikings, Hockens on 88 catches 800 yds 6TD. poised to be better with 2nd team. 1-20 Noah Fant - Broncos. Hockensons teammate at Iowa. Had a pair of 650 plus 4 TD seasons his 2nd and 3rd year in Denver before being traded to Seahawks in Wilson trade. Had 500 and 4 TD season in first year with Seattle 2020 No TE Taken in round 1 2021 1-4 Kyle Pitts - Falcons Had decent rookie season. 1st round 1 TE to break 1000 yards in rookie year for this whole list. 68 catches, but only 1 TD. 2nd year in 10 games played only 28 catches, 2 TD. 2022 No TE Selected in round 1 2023 Dalton Kincaid - Bills
  19. AWESOME! I have the same thing on my Chiefs schedule prediction I did in Feb
  20. I LOVE schedule release day (errr....time of year when schedule is leaked) It's a bills board and I'm not going to bother everyone with my Chiefs schedule prediction that I do every year once the home and away teams are known at the end of the regular season......but I predicted Bills @ KC week 4 Sunday Night Football fwiw.
  21. Dalton is certainly a recieving threat TE. I can't speak to his blocking. Kelce, while not known as a great blocker, lines up and participates and is comeptent at it. Even though the listed height and weight are similar, Kincaid looks more slender than Kelce (Just my opinion) I heard Beanes presser about wanting to attack the middle of the field and have mismatches there and that is what they got Kincaid for. All that makes sense....I would say regarding Kelce...he isn't faster than kincaid or alot of others...and he's not stronger than many others...and there are plenty of guys taller than Kelce in the NFL. Where Kelce has NO PEER is that he reeds defesnes AND knows the mind of his QB better than any TE playing right now. Gronk was similar with Brady. Kelce knows exactly where to go to be open. He knows it most of the time pre snap...or can read at the snap and know where to run to. He also knows, based on these reads, what Mahomes is also reading and acts accordingly. Kelce is almost like a coach on the field....I've seen him miked up, pointing out this and that, he sees and is giving that feedback to Mahomes and Ried constantly. It's his football mind that sets him apart. Kelce isn't wide open all the time because teams don't cover him...he's open becasue he knows how to get open. And when the time comes for Kelce to ride off into the sunset...Ried and Mahomes will cope and still be very good. Last...I do NOT want to come off like I am telling you KC has the next Kelce....I don't know if such a thing exists (seems like only 1 or 2 TE like this every 15 years of so) ....but KC does have a TE with similar skill set and well versed in the offense...quietly was 5th on the team in receptions in 2022...and just turned 24...haivng already played 2 seasons wiht KC....Noah Gray. If Kelce is injured or starts to slide....this will be the guy who picks up the slack...and he'll de reasonably well when it's his turn. (low key..he's really good) I'm looking forward to Kincaid..I think he will be what Bean envisioned...a mismatch in the middle of the field that attacks the heart of a defense...I think the Bills can and will run alot of two TE sets including motioning Kincaid out wide and find him against a slow, shorter LB...should be fun and interesting to see how it looks.
  22. Just stashing this here..(sorry to intrude GunnerBill) I did a complete, full 7 round mock draft with trades for all teams....and here is what I came up with for the Bills Darnell Wright Tennessee OT Keeanu Benton Wisconsin DL1T Tank Dell Houston WR Mike Morris Michigan DL5T Chris Rodriguez Jr. Kentucky RB
  23. ,,,,,Some people don't know what a hot take is.....I digress. Also some people don't know how to count to ONE. Hot Take: Clayton Tune will end up being the best QB in this class when it's all said and done. (fire.)
  24. This is really good work! Appreciate your work and your thoughts here!
