Dolphins & Jalen Ramsey exploring trade options
thenorthremembers replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's never been a big INT guy but show me someone who has played in this era of football that is. He's a good corner, breaks up a lot of passes, and helps in the run game. He's a loud mouth but he is a very good player. -
I hope it works out well for you. In the meantime, you may want to work on understanding why you think Trump voters are less intelligent than you when some of the world's most intelligent and successful people voted for him. It's a very odd place to be in life to not be able to recognize other people's worth based solely on who they voted for. That sounds a lot like a cult member to me.

I am not going to bother to respond to the 4-5 guys in this thread that think they are more intelligent that 77 million other Americans. Your arrogance is sad, your allegiance to China over your own country is sick.
-
I cannot believe how many pro-China communists disguise themselves as American citizens. It is truly unfathomable and sad to me.

He's 78. Not sure what you expect. Biden was skinny but couldnt remember where he was or who the pants he was crapping in belonged to. You boys love your hyperbole and pearl clutching. -
5.8 over a ten year period while reducing 194 billion in government spending and eliminating $880 billion in taxes on overtime pay. The addition of debt isn't good but it isn't owed to an outside country. Can you please now explain to me the benefit of owing money to China? Id feel bad about that if you weren't a sad little girl with an upside down American Flag as their avatar. You clearly have mental issues.

There is way too much here to respond to fully but no I am not trolling. I don't think it's a lot to ask from your country to look at a few labels on goods. I also don't think it's a lot for your government to ask to "toughen up" a bit while they try to restore America as the world's leader in manufacturing. And just for the record I think if someone is struggling to pay for groceries they are the last person that should have a frickin car payment.

I do know that. The issue I have is both our trade deficit and our budget deficit are completely out of control. We may be the #2 manufacturer in the world, depending on which statistic you choose to use, but China is ahead of us by double. I've said it here before, and I think its basic economic fact, debt is financial slavery. We cannot continue to owe countries the amount of money we do. Your arrogance is showing. You think you're more intelligent than 77 million people?

I understand what you're saying. My hope is the blanket tariffs, if there are any, end at the bargaining table before they ever reach the consumer. My point is this had to happen at some point because the US has been slowly losing its place as the world's economic leader. Sadly, it may be too late. The trade deficit and amount of money we owe other countries is astounding. All of this is way overdue.

China was poor and unindustrialized just 50 or 60 years ago. It isnt just cope. By saying consumers bear the cost of tariffs you're insinuating they are also lazy and stupid. It's pretty simple, you look at the label where it says "Made in China" you realize you're paying heavy tax on substandard goods. I am pro-America every step of the way. Which is why I want to get back to the days where we were the innovators and the leaders in manufacturing. I dont want my kids to bring up their kids in a country that is beholden to China or any other country due to trillions of dollars of debt.

S Justin Simmons wants to join the Bills!

And the big name people on the board may not want to hear it but he isn't significantly better than either Rapp or Hamlin at this point in his career. -
Ovi's record. Smth like that in NFL?
thenorthremembers replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it goes without saying that Ovi breaking the goal record doesn't take away from Gretzky's greatness. That said, it's not like he surpassed the record playing 1,000 more games with a ton of empty net goals. He broke the record in a comparable number of games. Goals are goals. The most impressive thing about Gretzky is he would still have the all time points lead by quite a bit without scoring a goal. I dont think you need to crap on Ovi, Moss or Rice to make your point about Gretzky. Not for nothing Jerry Rice has every career receiving record there is, so I wouldn't just lump him in with guys who had "an amazing ability to score." -
WE NEED TO PROTECT WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNLESS THEY DISAGREE WITH OUR POLITICS.....THEN F THOSE WOMEN

Maybe they should work on a hands-off rally where they keep their hands off other people's cars, property, and pre-pubescent children's genitals.

I have seen both the domestic and international markets. Personally, I think its a great time to buy. Specifically, US based companies, and those companies willing to do more business in the US. Bottom line is we could not continue to absorb the amount of debt we were. We also could not continue to incur the amount of debt we were from China, especially with a trade deficit in the billions going in their favor. When you buy a car on a loan you don't own it the bank does. Who owns the US when we are trillions of dollars in debt to China? The people or the People's Republic? Debt is financial slavery. Actions like this were past due. Maybe what Trump is doing will fail, and the outcome will be the same. But, at least he had the balls to try and rip the band aid off. As far as James Buchanan being the worst president of all time, thats fine, but I wasnt alive in 1857, so I am going to go ahead and base my opinions on personal experience instead of history books. Biden was an absolute disaster.
-
You're claiming an economic disaster a week after he announced the tariffs? A little soon dont you think? The real economic disaster was NAFTA and its massive repercussions on the America manufacturing industry. Way to deflect from the actual topic which is and continues to be Biden may have been the worst President of all time. Continuing to run Walz out there shows how tone deaf the democratic party is.

Social security is not welfare because it's literally calculated based on the amount of money you've earned while you worked. People paid to have it. It's not free or totally dependent on other people's tax dollars. If you're talking about Supplemental Security Income, then yes that's closer to welfare. However looking back at your original post it didn't say SSI, it said Social Security. Again not welfare.
