  1. Really sad. For a sport that lives on the history of the sport, they messed this one up royally.
  2. Its not incredibly expensive but they dont currently have the cap space to do it.
  3. His season cap hit is $18,313,000. If he is traded post June 1st, the Browns eat $1,963,000 of his salary. Given the trade deadline is Nov 5th, I would envision any team trading for him would do it before the November 3rd games. His game checks are an average of 1,077,235. You get him for 8 games minus the $1,963,000 the Browns would take as dead cap. Gets you somewhere in the range of $6.8 million for 8 games. Just a quick and dirty.
  4. No. Even if the Bills made a move for him at the trade deadline they'd still have to pay him somewhere in the neighborhood of $7 million dollars. Thats incredibly expensive for an 8 game rental whose contract isn't guaranteed for next year. Hopkins had his chance to be a Buffalo Bill and he chose the money. Thats all I'd need to know as a GM. If Cleveland is out of it by the deadline I'd inquire about Amari Cooper, a little younger, a lot cheaper.
  5. Cant find the video or the tweet now, but apparently Sluka got his 100k. Once they beat Kansas and Houston he and his parents decided he was worth 300k, when he and his agent asked for the additional money the Coach told him no. Once he heard no he quit.
  6. Where did I judge Von? Outside of the conjecture of saying he paid off his lady to drop the charges against him I merely stated the fact he was on an arrest list. My point in saying any of it was to outline the fact that these guys aren't all heroes, they are fallible humans. My main point is its incredibly easy to sit behind a computer or phone and call someone a scumbag when the world doesn't know all your sins. Getting way obtuse. The point is Von, whether the NFL suspends him or not, was involved in a domestic abuse situation. You don't get to pick and choose morality.
  7. I find it hypocritical because my disapproval of abortion comes from my Christian values. My dislike of the death penalty comes from the same place specifically the verses outlined in John 8 and Romans 3. That said, the old testament is full of examples of the death penalty being just. Because I believe the soul of a person can be saved by accepting Jesus Christ I don't think it's up to someone else to take their life before they are given that opportunity regardless of sin. I also don't believe a person who commits murder should ever be released into a free society regardless of a potential religious conversion.
  8. I am a pro-life conservative and find it hypocritical to be against abortion and for the death penalty. All for righteous anger and defending one's self but vengeance should not be politicized.
  9. Depends on the severity and location of the break. If the break goes through the skin or is broken in multiple places it will require surgery, otherwise its rare.
  10. I mean there is an entire database of NFL arrests since 2000 and its 55 pages long. We literally just cheered for one of those guys last night. Only difference between he and Favre is Von's girl took the hush money. Not going to defend Favre but let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
  11. Defensive coordinator needs to go in the AM. It shouldn't be that easy.
  12. Only thing I see when Ray Davis runs the ball is Fred Jackson.
  13. Enjoy this one. Next few weeks are going to be tough. Absolutely love this team. Perfect team for WNY.
  14. Announcer says he doesn't think anything is wrong with Josh's left hand... Meanwhile I am pretty sure he broke it two weeks ago.
  15. Had one on my way back from Syracuse a few years back. I'd say it's on par or better than that place that is closed on Sunday.
  16. Wingstop's Chicken Sandwhiches are underrated. Much better than Popeyes.
  17. If I am McDermott I don't stop trying to score until the Jags do.
  18. Not understandable. Regardless of what he thought of the franchise he was being paid for his effort. One of my least favorite Bills of all time.
  19. I think Jim Kelly is the all time Buffalo Bill. That said, there are only two Bills I've ever watched who can singlehandedly change a game, one is Bruce Smith the other is Josh Allen. When it is all said and done Josh will have every Bills passing record and will be the player people think of when they mention the Bills.
  20. Libs in general.
  21. When Vlad Jr., Bo Bichette, and Cavan Biggio all played for the Bisons I started following the Blue Jays. I ordered the MLB pass from 2019-2023 to watch every game I could. This year I didn't get the pass and while I've followed their season it's not near what it's been. Previous to that I was a life long Red Sox fan but had to stop when the cheating scandal happened. That said, if the Bills cheated I'd stick it out. Seems like I don't care that much about baseball.
  22. If they dont have the horses its easy to beat. That said, they need to score points on offense.
