Department of WAR!!!!!

Honestly man I couldnt care less. I love some of the stuff Trump is doing. I also want to see a better job report. -
Bass is an above average kicker but they need to move on in the offseason. They can save 8.2 million between 2026 and 2027. Its just run its course at this point.

The place where you and I no longer exist. The line of existence where jobs will go up and down. Likely never to drop to zero.

Of all things to get your panties in a bunch about. When did strength become a bad thing? -
Not great but its a marathon not a sprint.

I mean I am not going to give a team a lot of crap for giving up 152 passing yards. The coverage was good enough to relegate Hurts to a runner. I think anyone here who didnt let their hate of Beane and McDermott cloud their opinions knew the guy wasnt good enough.

This is a very organized and structured plan. That said, people are getting out of that place with something. They dont have enough security to make sure every nut and bolt will stay intact. Gruden's Ravens-Bills Preview
thenorthremembers replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hes a tool but he knows the game of football and these previews are better than almost anything you'll see leading up to a game. -
May have mentioned this before, but my oldest son is a big Michigan fan. Checked out the game last week. The kid has all the measurables and all the talent in the world. The arm talent is pretty evident. One thing I noticed last week is he relies a lot on the arm talent and the mechanics are a ways off, especially lower body. That said he looks like the real deal in terms of a QB prospect. Going to get a lot of Cam Newton and Josh Allen comparisons. I like Mateer from the Sooners alot. Cant wait for the game.

The North Carolina/Belichick Thread 2025
thenorthremembers replied to eball's topic in College Football
Bill Belichick's defenses have given up an average of 20.7 points a game in his playoff career. Sean McDermott's defenses have given up an average of 22.2 points a game in the playoffs. McDermott's defenses have kept opponents under 20 points in 6 of his 14 playoff games. You can let a narrative get in the way of reality if you want, but the truth of the matter is Bill Belichick won multiple Super Bowls because he had the better Quarterback in almost every playoff game. Sure he won some games by playing sound defense. But, the equalizer was Brady. The Bills havent won a Super Bowl in the Allen era because of a few different reasons. A special teams and defensive meltdown, a kicker meltdown, and a QB meltdown when Allen didnt recognize a blitz. Its not all on the defense. McDermott is an easy scapegoat because everyone loves Josh. Its not 1999 anymore, defense doesnt win championships. Outscoring your opponent's wins championships. To date, Josh has not been able to do that when facing Mahomes. Likely because Mahomes is closer to Brady than Josh is. The original argument was whether Belichick was better "today" than McDermott. You say he would be because he would bring a better defense. You say this despite the fact that the last defense Belichick took into the playoffs gave up 47 points to...a McDermott coached football team. -

Bill Belichick didnt have an elite level Quarterback. He had "thee elite level QB." He had the maybe the greatest champion to ever play team sports. Josh is going to end up the greatest Bills QB of all time, but we still have to debate whether he is the best player at his position in one time period. It shouldn't even be an argument as to whether Tom Brady is literally the best player at his position from every time period. Belichick knows more about football than anyone on Earth. That said, he couldn't get a job in the NFL because he is no longer a great coach. He proved that against TcU. Coaching is more than knowing the game of football. As a coach he is cooked. Not to mention the circus he's made his personal life into. If McDermott had Tom Brady in the AFC Championship, with 3 minutes left and the ball, the Bills are likely Super Bowl bound. If Belichick had Allen in the same situation, what changes from last year? I understand this is a Bills message board, but Brady was on another planet when it came to picking a part a defense. -

You'd take Bill Belichick over McDermott today? He just got beat by TcU 48-14, and you trust him to coach against Baltimore in the NFL over McDermott? The McDermott hate on this board is to the point of nonsense. Belichick is toast and an absolute embarrassment right now. -
Also needs to tuck that thing in, might get caught on a trip wire.

So not dead. Looks and sounds like he always does.

Have to agree here. If the known quantity is good to great, why gamble on an unknown quantity.
