  1. Trey Lance struggles with basic things Quarterbacks learn in High School, or should be learning. Doesn't elevate to zero, doesn't extend his arm when he throws, bad footwork etc. He got by on good athleticism, but he would be a massive project.
  2. Anyone else here think James Cook may be one of the slowest running backs to the opening they have ever seen? It seems like it takes him forever and a day to get to the hole and then somehow he is able to get out of the initial contact.
  3. If you get your hands on it you need to catch it.
  4. Happy for the kid. Reminds me of when Jon Corto made the team. Going to be pulling for him.
  5. He was incredibly impressive at the blue and red scrimmage as well. Undersized but a total dog. Has great football instincts
  6. Justin Fields has all the talent in the world. Justin Fields also has no idea how to read a defense.
  7. The point isn't to produce every element. The point is to produce everything you can get here, here. Putting taxes or embargos on things like Chinese steel puts the emphasis on getting unions to use American made materials. It may hurt in the short term but in the long term it's incredibly beneficial for our country. We have to stop relying on other countries and increasing the national debt by trillions of dollars. If you fail to see that the reliance on other countries has made our country weaker than I can't help you. Started with Clinton and NAFTA. And continues with policies hard on America and weak on other countries.
  8. Not with that attitude we won't. Amazing when it's Trump we can't produce products but the best thing your party has done in years is the semiconductor plan.
  9. Perfect. Then we can focus on buying American made products. You can tell me all day about what you think it will cost me. Problem is I've already lived during both economies. I made 20k a year less under Trump than I do under Biden and have far less money now than I did then. Gas is up. Food is up. Water is up. Taxes are up. Housing is up. Clothes are up. Projections don't mean a damn thing to me. Show me the baby.
  10. Father's be good to your daughters. Something tells me the girl on the left probably won't want to see this video in 15 years. If you're voting blue because you're worried about your makeup, piercings, and tattoos being taken away from you try voting red and see how many more of those things you can buy with more money in your pocket. No one is coming for your eye shadow kiddo. What they really should have said was I am voting blue because if not I'll be ostracized from my group of friends who preach freedom of expression eventhough we all dress alike, listen to the same music, read the exact same books, watch the exact same movies and vote for the same people.
  11. I am sure Walgreens appreciates the free press from her mug shot.
  12. The NFL does not hide the fact they are a billion dollar company. For years college football wanted you to believe these kids were just student athletes eating raemen and barely getting by. When the fact of the matter was the kids who were on their way to the NFL were hardly going to class and being fed millions of dollars by donors. With NIL and the transfer portal "college football" is even more of a scam. Just call it what it is. It's professional football sponsored by learning institutions.
  13. Good player but never really a Bills killer. Only had 2.5 sacks in 7 career games vs Buffalo. Always happy to see the Patriots get worse.
  14. Id be more than happy to have him on the roster. That said, if they tried him out he likely was in a group of tryouts that included Byrd and Cain. He was a good widout in the league despite playing with bad quarterbacks. To be fair to the guy played through injuries and his brother passing away, the same brother who was here in 2015. He is still only 27 or 28 years old and would be cool to see if he still go a bit during the rest of the pre-season.
  15. Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have won 5 of the last 7 Super Bowls. The Bills not winning a Super Bowl has nothing to do with being poor at scoring within the 10 yard line. The Bills havent won the Super Bowl because Josh is playing in an era where the two best Quarterbacks of all time (were) are in the league.
  16. My family outgrew our first home about 5 years ago. I bought a larger house with some property, and it came with an above ground pool. I personally love the pool, as do a few of the kids, however my wife hates it. Given the weather in WNY its only functional about 1/4th of the year. Part of the issue with ours is the previous owner put it very near a large maple tree in the yard. Because of the propensity for high winds around here the maple tree often sheds leaves into the pool which quickly leads to algae issues. Not to mention trying to keep a winter cover down during the winter. We have found a few tricks to help this issue but it can be a real issue in terms of wear on the cover. Because of the number of helicopters that fall onto the leaf cover during the fall and amount of water from the snow and ice, its also a pain to open every year. Above ground pools may be less expensive to construct, but in comparison with my Father In Laws Inground pool, I spend a lot more on chemicals (mostly due to the Maple Tree) and in thd time it takes for me to sweep and vacuum weekly. Robot cleaners seem to work a lot better in in ground pools and save you time and money. This wont be an issue for you because you're installing it, but the pool pump went three days after I bought the house. The pool cost me 400 dollars in the first week I was there. Despite the fact I enjoy the pool, if the house hadnt come with it I dont think I would have put one in. If the pool is available to use 90 days a year you have to think about how many of those days it rains, or how many of those days you wont be home due to the amount of things we WNYers try to cram in during the good weather.
  17. I was just coming to this thread to post the same thing. Can you imagine making 7.4 million dollars for being bad at something?
  18. In defense of those threads there were rumors those players were coming here. Still pretty nauseating to look back on.
  19. Favre's situation was at least consequential to the sport. 21 pages for a #2 WR is mindblowing.
  20. If this is true it pretty much mirrors College Football itself, a charade.
  21. Cook is a good back but he isnt great. I assume he will have a similar career to most good backs. He will play well here until his contract runs out then he will move on to free agency bouncing around the league until he fizzles out at 30 or 31. Any sort of delusion he is a special back should go out the window quick. He is above average with lots of warts. Two years from now he will be on a different team.
  22. Not surprising. Great player, but he hasnt played a full season since his rookie year, and he was a backup most of that year. Let's hope its nothing major and just precautionary.
  23. With how fast podcasts turn around these days there is no real reason to listen to WGR. If I mow after games early in the season Ill listen to the post game, but otherwise my interest in the station is down to almost zero.
  24. Either work with the league to void the original trade or trade the guy. More proof Joe Douglas is an absolute moron despite everyone wanting you to believe he and Saleh are both great at their jobs.
