  1. Dude, statements like this are exactly why voters are shifting away from democrats. First off, it's a generality. Just because you saw a few out of shape people at a Trump rally on the news it doesn't mean "a lot of MAGA are either lazy or physically unfit." It would like me saying "almost all liberals want a sex change operation." It's just pure ignorance. Do you really think it's only people who voted for Trump who are out of shape or smoking vapes? While the image makes me literally laugh out loud, I'd go ahead a bargain you have a few "fatties sneaking vape breaks" on your side as well. If the numbers continue to deteriorate farmers are just going to have to move ahead with times and stop abusing the system. They can continue to use the work visa and legal immigration system. They can stop pretending its pre-Animal Farm America and pay people what they are worth for the jobs they do. You may have been trying to make a point, but you missed the root cause of the issue. There are plenty of Americans who will do manual labor. But they want to be able to afford a house and take care of their families. This is why farmers use illegals, because they know they can house them in ***** holes, pay them just enough to buy cases of beer for the weekend and send a few American dollars back to their families. Believe me, you're standing up for the wrong thing in this case. If you care so much about immigrants, maybe start by making sure they are being offered fair wages and a chance to become the farmer one day. Not, to continue to be paid poverty level wages that doom both them and their families into generational indentured servitude. and just to be clear here I am not taking about a farm that has a few acres trying to make ends meat. I am talking about famers who have hundreds or thousands of acres that have provided generational wealth to their families. Look at the core values of both parties. Do you really think its MAGA who are sitting on their couches? It would be income suicide for a person sitting on their coach collecting welfare to vote for Trump.
  2. Sounds good man. Thank you for the information. If I ever get another one Ill be sure to reach out.
  3. Legal citizens of the United States will start reporting to the fields when farmers stop paying minimum wage for maximum work. Why the hell would any legal citizen go work on a farm doing back breaking work, in poor conditions, with no options for health insurance when they can make 17 or 18 dollars an hour putting together sandwiches at Subway or Burger King? Amazing to me that liberals will take to the streets to protest illegals being deported, but don't seem to care about how they are taken advantage of by farmers. Make no mistake about it, farmers may consider illegals "friends," they may show up to protest when ICE detains them for crimes, but they sure as hell aren't paying them a living wage or providing them health insurance. It's incredible to me how of touch with reality people are. COPORATIONS ARE BAD!!! RICH PEOPLE ARE BAD!! FARMERS NEED ILLEGALS TO DO WORK AND PAY SLAVE LABOR TO SO THEY CAN MAXIMIZE PROFITS!! Just because a corporation is dressed in flannel instead of a suit, doesnt mean they arent rich. The farmers paying these people minimum wage arent Ma and Pa Kettle from American Gothic.
  4. I think it was mostly user error. It wasnt electric. It was a 1940's era Royal. I kept running into an issue with the mechanical mechanism getting stuck/locked up during use.
  5. Sweet car. Bad head gasket?
  6. Very well done on the music. Outside of the talent, its incredible how far recording has come.
  7. What kind of car?
  8. Playing, writing and listening to music. In my twenties a band my brother and I started locally ended up touring nationally with a bunch of well-known metal and hard rock bands. Nowadays is mostly spent with my wife and kids. My oldest son is a good athlete, so high school football and AAU basketball. Outside of that its writing, coaching football/baseball, collecting sports cards, NYT crosswords, Jeopardy, reading with a particular interest in Norse Mythology and Scandanavian history. Also, absolutely love mowing my lawn.
  9. Could have used your help about ten years ago. One of my hobbies is writing. Always wanted a vintage typewriter to work on smaller pieces. My laws bought me one for Christmas but it didn't work. Never had a chance to actually use it. Sold it before I moved into a new house about 5 years ago.
  10. I think it really depends on the style of defense. To your point Wilfork was 6'2 325, Casey Hampton was 6'1 325. Then again, Ted Washington was 6'5 325. For linemen in general I think its advantageous for guys with longer arms to play on the edge, and for more stout players to play inside. My concern is when I hear about a guy who is really tall the 6'7s the 6'8s or 6'9s with pre-existing back problems.
  11. Stroud and Campbell both played sub 315 pounds. The Henderson point is a good one, and actually a nice body comp for Walker. That said, Henderson was a mad man. If Walker can get that sort of blood flowing through his veins watch out.
  12. Did you read my post? My point was whether the Bills have him at 1 tech or 3 tech. There arent a lot of 6'7 1 techs walking around. Thats because playing 1 tech requires good leverage. Guys who are 6'7 with bad backs arent usually the best benders, which is something good leverage requires. Yes, defensive tackle requires players to be "big and heavy" I dont expect Walker to be 6'7 185, but if he is going to play 3 tech he should consider losing some weight in his belly. How do you think the pars defect happened? How do the Bills best maximize his athletic ability and make sure he stays available?
  13. I am very curious about the first depth chart to see where they are using Deone Walker. Given his size I feel like people assume he is a 1 Tech, but I feel like he could use to lose about 20-30 pounds as a 3 tech. He is a massive guy, but he carries a ton of weight in his belly, and isnt very stout in his lower body. Incredibly gifted football player, but I think part of what drove teams away from him is the lower back and conditioning issues. Both of which could be a result of carrying bad weight.
  14. This is not how football works at any level anymore. You can run a play out of the wishbone, you can have elements of your defense that is 4-6, but very few defenses run straight base defenses anymore. Specific to the wishbone, you cant eliminate the pass threat and be successful, not even in high school football.
  15. Way way too young. Many condolences to her family.
  16. Its a team issue. The defensive gives up too many points in big games. And when the offense had the ball with plenty of time to win a football game last year they didnt do it.
  17. Its really impossible for anyone to wait for anything that produces certainty these days.
  18. Speaks a lot to how a great QB makes everyone around him better. The bottom line with Gabe is you cant have a featured wideout who cant catch the ball.
  19. Thought he was very good in camp and preseason last year.
  20. They may but not many people will know
  21. Depends on who is speaking. If there is a player I liked watching play a lot I'll listen in. The only two I've watched in the last ten years were Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.
  22. As you can tell from my username...I am all for anything Game of Thrones.
