Trump 2024?
thenorthremembers replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The party who regularly tramples on the constitution using it to infer Trump sees himself as some sort of King...checks out and completely on brand. -
I was being facetious. I think the Sabres fans will be singing a different tune by the end of this season. I think they will be better under Lindy. But to hear them complain and moan when the team could have very well been sold and moved elsewhere drives me nuts.

I love hockey fans who think they are just that much more intelligent than the regular sports fan. Constantly hear how the MLB and NBA are dying games but they consistently get 10 times the viewers of the NHL. The game isn't too fast. It just isn't entertaining. Add that to the fact that the league does a piss poor job of marketing it and you have a recipe for disaster. The 1st game of the season was in Europe. The opening game in North America was while people were still at work. Groundbreaking stuff. It's great they have "some of the best tv ratings in the NHL" similar to being the best at scooping your dogs crap. Your great but no one knows and you're still shoveling crap. Sabres fans should be thanking their lucky stars Pegula keeps the team here. But yes they should sell the team they make 100 million dollars in profit on a year and keep they one who never wins in a league no one watches.

So if he was polite in taking care of it why bother to make it public?- 82 replies

Agreed. They should have just let someone else buy it and move the team. Not like many people would care, the NHL finals has less average TV views than the INDY 500.

Will Miami start taking calls on Hill?
thenorthremembers replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's as moveable as Adams is. Just about $2 million dollars difference in their contracts post June 1st tradewise. If we can somehow afford Adams, the Chiefs can get Tyreek back. That said, why would the Dolphins trade their best offensive player right before their QB is set to return? Especially in conference. The attention was off Tyreek for a few weeks, he is just trying to get some shine back on him. -
Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

I think it has more to do with his contract being a major obstacle for most teams. The longer it goes the more the Raiders have to take off of his base pay. -

To this day I think Hopkins was on his way here until greed got the best of him. -

Any chance the Raiders would want Von? He will be reinstated by the league prior to the deadline. If they can move Von plus picks for Adams it would be a dream come true. -

He just said this off season the Bills have the worst fan base. Who knows maybe he really doesnt want to come here. -
The Von contract may be the worst in Bills history. If they cut him next year which I fully expect, and he continues on his current pace, the Bills will have paid him 59 million dollars for 15.5 sacks in three years. Arden Key had very similar output for the Titans and Jaguars during that time and he was paid 51 million less. 59 million dollars for 5 sacks a year, one torn ACL, and one Domestic Violence suspension. Can anyone think of a worse signing?

I still dont know if you're kidding but I am pretty sure only Gase and Kotite have a worse winning percentage. Even Bruce Coslet was better.

The Patriots need to rid themselves of anyone who had anything to do with Bill Belichick. They needed to go outside of the organization for the GM and the Coach. Instead they hired two Belichick disciples. Mayo is out of his depth.

Seriously?

Good move by the Jets. One of my least favorite people in the NFL. Sealed the deal for me when he jumped on top of a players dog pile week 1 last year. That said, he is a good defensive coach and the real issue with the Jets is their overrated GM Joe Douglas.

That big boy has played running back before. Had the 5 points of pressure on the ball and had the other arm ready to cover in case anyone got cute and went for a strip. Well done big fella! -

Saints keep playing two high and giving the middle to the Chiefs. Chiefs send outside wideouts deep and clear the middle of the field. It's there all day. -

Some of this isn't scheme. It's Kelce knowing where to stop and flash in space.
