  1. inexcusable to take both Spiller and Troup over Gronkowski. Not to mention missing on Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Brandon Graham, Jason Pierre Paul, and Rodger Saffold. Feel like everyone both here and the Bills message board wanted Saffold. Spiller was an amazing talent but the draft was filled with talented players on a team that needed everything but running back.
  2. My 1995 Chevy Lumina did 115. Its not about the car. Its about the idiot behind the wheel. Garrett has provided more than enough evidence proving he is a total and complete nincompoop.
  3. Its amazing to me the things people will complain about.
  4. The fact that he wasn't a first ballot hall of famer is one of the biggest travesties in NFL history. Top ten in every important recieving stat all time, but isnt a first ballot hall of famer, give me a break.
  5. The problem is you're discounting McDermott's impact on Josh getting to that elite level of talent. Having good coaching, and culture is important to young quarterbacks. That doesnt exist here without McDermott.
  6. You really think a coach in the NFL who wins 65% of his games has a low coaching acumen? You think if Josh Allen went to Cleveland or the Jets, Hue Jackson would still have his job or Todd Bowles would still be coaching in New York? C'mon man.
  7. McDermott is a better regular season coach, and a substantially better post season coach. Schottenheimer had a .278 win percentage in the playoffs. Its fine if you dont like McDermott but he is a lot closer to Jim Harbaugh than he is Schottenheimer. At least make a fair comparison to make your point. I get he hasnt won the Superbowl, but its ignorant to discount how good he has been otherwise.
  8. Youre telling me a team that hadnt made the playoffs in 17 years wasnt a complete crap show? And as far as the credit for drafting Allen I wasnt leaving Beane out, the entire organization gets credit for it. That said, does Allen go "supernova" with Hue Jackson as his coach?
  9. Tomlin took a team that had already won a Super Bowl three years earlier back to the Super Bowl and won. Since then he's missed the playoffs 6 of 16 years. McDermott has missed the playoffs 1 time in 8 years and everyone thinks he is a failure. McDermott has had his fair share of bad moments in his time here. That said, Allen and the offense had over 3 minutes left to either win or tie a game during the AFC Title game last year and didnt do it. A lot of elite QBs make that happen. Why didnt he make the line adjust to protect against the blitz? The failures of this team have been just that team failures. Mike Tomlin took over a very good team with a future hall of fame QB. McDermott took over a complete crap show and brought a future hall of fame QB here. He deserves a lot more credit than he gets.
  10. I just feel bad that Josh's career is going to be over at age 32 when most QBs are playing past 35 these days. Just our luck that he would get future hurt already!
  11. For future reference can someone explain to me the difference between good night bad night and arrow up and arrow down? I want to make sure I go to the official complain about games that dont matter post.
  12. Just checking in. Is the season over?
  13. He very obviously has brain damage. ESPN took advantage of the situation.
  14. Gatineau is suing ESPN over that confrontation. Brett may have done some seriously bad things in his life but his participation in the sack record is more short sighted than it is malicious.
  15. Makes sense. The site I looked at had Klubnik at 6'2 209. Probably hadnt been updated since his 1st year,
  16. I feel like Arch and the rest of the Mannings will be very interested in who has the number one pick. If it ends up being a franchise the family feels will be a detriment to Arch's ability maximize his career I can fully see him going back to school. Both Manning and Sellers need this year to show they are worth top picks. Sellers specifically hasnt shown enough as a passer. Klubnik and Nussmeier both need to gain weight to play at the next level. I am interested to see if Mateer can continue to play well at OU.
  17. Feel like those were from minicamp. Not sure Ive seen much about him since camp opened.
  18. Jones cant help but run off at the mouth. He needs to stop talking to the press until he has Micah signed or has him traded. The manner in which he treats his players in the press is part of the reason they continue to fail as a franchise.
  19. Time to invest in some peppermint essential oils. I am sure there is someone in that building who has a wife that can get a group rate.
  20. Cook is a better back than Williams. They may be identical in stats, but Williams took a lot more carries to get there. Not saying, the contracts wont be close but Cook has earned a bit more.
  21. I dont think Parsons fits into what the Bills do on defense. He's a freelancer who specializes in rushing the passer. Parsons, and the Dallas defense in general is below average at setting the edge in the run game. The Bills want to spend money on guys who can do both well. I wouldnt hold your breath for a Parsons trade here, especially with him wanting 40 million a year.
  22. Whether the gap is large or not, if the Bills are at their ceiling as far as offers go and Cook is still pushing for more the stalemate can easily continue. Cook isnt worth more than $13.5 million a year. A new contract for him should be around 4/$53.5 million. Thats the very top the Bill should be willing to give him in both years and cash. If Cook is looking for $15-$20 million he needs to test free agency in March. He is a good back, but he plays with a superstar QB, a great offensive line, and comes off the field on 3rd downs. He should not sniff what Barkley, McCaffrey, or Henry make.
  23. Montana had the greatest offensive mind maybe ever in football as his head coach. Walsh's schemes are still winning football games today in KC, SF and LAR. He also had the greatest WR of all time on his team. The guy that replaced Montana won a Super Bowl and went to the Hall of Fame. Brady had a defensive head coach who went 29-38 after Tom left. The guy who replaced Tom is 20-29 as a starter and is currently a backup on his third team in three years. As much as I cant stand the Patriots, Brady is the GOAT and its not really debatable.
  24. To each their own but I think Buffalo Plus is pretty good.
