Great night game experience! However....
thenorthremembers replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not the same game but I took my 11 year old to the Syracuse/Notre Dame game on Saturday. A Notre Dame fan and the Syracuse fan in front of him started going back and forth a bit in the 2nd quarter, each one of them was drinking one after another. I kept an eye on them because I knew where it was going. By the 3rd the back and forth was getting louder. Mocking started. By the 4th threats started. I grabbed my kid and said let's go because he was noticing too. I let security know there was about to he a fight. Did it more for the Notre Dame guy because while he was being a jerk, he was about to get his lunch eaten. He had no business talking any crap because he was the type of guy who had no business being in a fight, especially in front of his parents and girlfriend. Call it a joy kill call it whatever. You're in a stadium of 70k people, the world doesn't revolve around you, stop being selfish. Bottom line is if you're in public you owe it to the rest of the people who paid for a ticket not to be a jerk. -
Trade Deadline Transactions and Rumors
thenorthremembers replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
People complaining about Gabe are being a little crazy. Would you take Tee Higgins, Mike Williams, or Amari Cooper? Despite his injuries and drop issues, he is essentially projecting to an average of the year they had in 2021. He is likely to go over 1000 yards and close out with 10 TDs. Just has to get a handle on catching the ball. The Bills dont need to replace Gabe, they desperately need a consistent slot wideout. -

I agree wholeheartedly. Rather have someone come in mid year that knows the system. -
Trade Deadline Transactions and Rumors

If Poyer is out I would expect them to send a conditional pick to the Falcons for Dean Marlowe. Outside of that, they need to bring in another offensive weapon, unless they start to use Cook more in the slot. -
Are Bills fans expectations too high????
thenorthremembers replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dont disagree at all. Just would like to see your offensive coordinator not try to fit a round peg into a square hole when you're averaging 5.3 yards a carry as a team. -

The expectations are exactly where they should be. Fans should expect Josh to play well and not turn the ball over, and they should expect the offensive coordinator to run the ball when you're facing a two high shell and good man corners. -

It came across that way on TV as well. Didnt seem as loud as the night games usually are. It came across that way on TV as well. Didnt seem as loud as the night games usually are. -

Reread what you wrote and ask yourself if its worth having a punter on your roster that makes you even fathom the words gang or bang alone. -
Sammy Watkins says Buffalo Bills are still his team
thenorthremembers replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I gotta tell ya, not a fan of Sammy's football playing but really wish he'd share the secret of making 67 million dollars to do Jack crap. My little job pays me way less to do much more. -
Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs for picks
thenorthremembers replied to wolfpack78's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally think its a good pick up. You get a very talented 1st round pick from a year ago, for at least 2 1/2 more years on a rookie deal. The guy may be mindless, but he can play football. Its a low risk high reward trade for them. -
Broncos getting trade calls for Jeudy and Chubb
thenorthremembers replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you can get Jeudy for a 2nd and a day 2 pick you should 100% do it. Automatically an upgrade over McKenzie, and you get two very cheap years out of him instead of a rental player. -
Was on a major Game of Thrones binging when the Bills message board went under and I ended up here.

Correct, but all you have to base that on is your interview with the coach and what people he has worked with are saying about him. With how bad the Broncos have been at making that decision its not surprising they chose wrong again. My point is, Hackett isn't purely a product of nepotism. It has helped, but overall I wouldnt say the guy has failed at the opportunities he has been given.

LaFleur was McVay's offensive coordinator, did McVay get him the job in GB? If it was only Rodgers and LaFleur why do they suck this year? Frank Reich was Doug Pederson's OC. John Harbaugh was a special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach, did his last name get him his job? Mike Tomlin was a coach under Tony Dungy and was only a 1 year defensive coordinator when he was hired, was it all Dungy? Take a look back at the history of NFL coaching, there are a lot more "incompetent people" in those jobs than competent ones. Point being, last names help, every head coach was at one point in time an assistant coach. Saying anyone of these guys is only a head coach because of their last name, or the coach they coached under is so trite. Nathaniel Hackett may be terrible as a head coach, but I promise you the guy knows more about football than most normal people have forgotten. Funny how the same people on this board who think Nate Hackett is terrible at his job, will tell you how Belichick is the greatest coach of all time, and fail to make the connection as to why Belichick sucks at his job now too.

Not a fan of his hiring at all, but to fully ignore the fact that he had a top ten offense two years in a row, including the #1 overall offense in the league two years ago, to instead focus on his race is obtuse. Also had a top ten offense in 2017 with Blake Bortles as his QB. The guy has been a coach in college and the NFL for twenty years, and has been to the playoff multiple times. Is he a good head coach, no, but neither is/was Todd Bowles who is on his second stint. Flores, who you mention, despite the massive amount of hyperbolic media surrounding his tenure in Miami, was also not a good head coach. A lot of NFL coaches get into the league based on contacts they made through family, or college. To act like its not a "who you know" business is insane.

I have the exact jersey you are thinking of ordering, bought it for the same reason you are looking to buy it. Wanted something that wouldnt age, also didnt want to wear the jersey of someone younger than me, always found that odd. Anyways, if you end up getting it make sure to wash it sparingly and hang dry it. The red around the numbers faded on mine and is pink now. On the plus side its a pretty thick material, more like a Hockey Sweater.
