PS or not I think the Brown and Beasley signings pretty much seals the deal on OBJ for this year. Who is more likely to make the playoff roster, the PS wideouts who have previous experience in the system and have been with the team for a month. Or the street free agent coming off an ACL who hasnt played since last year?

I dont disagree with you on this one. Part of the reason I am excited about the signing. Long term it may be nothing, but at least they are doing something.

Kind of a pointless exercise. Threw the ball with my kid yesterday during halftime. Neither of use dropped one. Then again, neither of us was running full speed, being covered by an elite athlete, trying to catch the ball from a guy who throws lasers for a living... We also dont get paid millions to catch the ball in those circumstances.

Do you sense that it bothers them that the world thinks that without Von they arent going to be good enough. Usual Jerry stuff. Completely agree with you. I was a big Marino listener for a year or so, but I've backed off a bit because its the same thing every week. I've also found that podcasts where it's only one host seem to be boring. Joe B's podcast has become like nails on a chalkboard, just him droning on.

You hit on every point. I even agree with them being soft. Who is the mauler on the oline? Saffold and Brown have to be replaced next year. I understand that Brown is a physically imposing 3rd round draft pick but the guys bend and lateral movement are just awful to watch. I keep hearing how he is athletic, but he gets beat by speed rushes consistently. Saffold had a great career, but its clear its over. Dawkins gets more of a pass from me because I think he is playing hurt, but your point on physical maintenance make sense, he is a bad body guy for sure. They are going to have to retool big time in the offseason. They desperately need a #2 wideout and have very little money to bring someone in. They are very lucky to have the QB they have.

I considered this as well. But we play at 8 and we are young old people who eat dinner at 5pm.
