Its like my wife always says "How can you listen to this, they are just saying stuff, trying to fill up hours of air talking about the same stuff over and over"
They say it, no one holds them to it, and they start the next show.
If he can do that multiple times a game over an entire year than he will start getting into that elite category. Its probably just semantics but when I think elite, I think top 1 or 2 players at a position in the league.
I could be wrong, but I think he is on pace for 10 sacks this year, granted he missed time. I will give him credit for racking up sack stats in a defense that doesn't usually allow for that.
Heard the same thing on the radio this week. "Ya know Brady was a late round pick and Purdy is Mr. Irrelevant."
Do they even hear the words that are coming out of their mouths?
He is becoming a good starting defensive end rather than just a guy in a rotation. Elite is a pretty strong term. Maybe he will be there but right now elite is a long way off.
Agree with most of this. You do throw to a space you expect the wideout to be. However, the QB does determine what space he thinks will be open based on his progression. He chose to throw to the space where the 3 defenders would end up. He forced it to Hill because nothing was open and he isnt athletic enough to make anything else of the play. He is 100% a system QB. I agree there.
For the life of me I will never understand a OC who tries to go to the outside on two consecutive plays from that close. If you're going for it on 4th, get some yards up the middle on 3rd down.
If Josh and the wideouts don't start playing like they did the first half of the season again I think its more likely they lose two of four and end up the 5th seed than winning out and ending up the 1st seed.
People are going to flame you for this but I feel the exact same way. Josh hasnt played at an elite level since the KC game on October 16th. McKenzie and Davis have played well below average and continue to drop passes in huge situations. Being the 1 team in the AFC in week 14 means absolutely nothing. Would anyone be surprised if both Miami and Cinci beat the Bills the next few weeks?
