  1. Just saw that Vonte Davis passed. For the less than stellar time he had here, Davis should be remembered for some seriously incredible seasons: Sad loss.
  2. Have to agree on Corley. Sadly, he is mostly a slot guy, so he'll basically help some other team beat us 😭
  3. PLEASE, Tomlin: Take JPJ, so we don't have to! Bump another (Insert word that's been banned from this thread) down the board! Am I doing this right?
  4. That's valid: We aren't where we were, and the calculus has changed. Maybe I'm scarred; maybe those scars still speak.
  5. I feel like the only people voting "Yes" didn't live through the Watkins debacle.
  6. Yeah, @Ethan in Cleveland, I hear The Browns have global marketing rights in Nigeria: They may just need an insightful poster like you to head up their message boards, over there. Opportunity knocks, OP! Get 'er done.
  7. Or if Byron Murphy III slips, and AD Mitchell and BT Jr are off the board, I'd be good with Murphy, too.
  8. @Warriorspikes51 I was about to post this. Pretty aggravating. That one on Sherfield cost us in the AFC Divisional Round.
  9. Does Levi Wallace count, in terms of "Excelled"? Meh... 🤷‍♂️
  10. Whelp, instead of lying down and dying, like our D does in playoff games, this guy appears to make splash plays in those situations. The whole starter v.s. backup argument is moot... We had defensive starters who underperformed when the chips were down. This guy has proven he outperforms in those situations. For that reason alone I'm on board with this signing.
  11. Jerruh (Probably...): "I done heard that them there comp picks was the cats' pajamas. I reckon' we'll get us some, next year with this new strategy I've employed."
  12. Thanks for the clarification! I thought some teams had a boatload of comp picks. This makes sense.
  13. Is it so that no team can Garner more than 4 comp picks? I thought aid heard that, somewhere; not positive whether it's true or not.
  14. Welcome to The Department of Redundancy Department.
  15. We now have people to catch the ball 😱😱😱 Seriously, though, this is incredible news! Stoked that it's NOT just a 1-year. Beane knows we need continuity in the WR corps. Samuel reunited with Brady. Stoked!
  16. Keeping AJE out of the dirty linger fingers of Patty Cakes and The Kool-Aid Man is a major victory. We'd all heard the rumbling about KC possibly being linked to Eppy. I wanted nothing of that!
  17. Second? SECOND? Maybe the SEVENTY-SECOND... If it weren't for Belly-cheat's dog calling in the picks, New England would have fielded a roster of HOFers from 2000-2017! As it was, they "only" won six SBs...
  18. I heard his pants split in Paris, when he saw that Miami had released Wilkins 😱
  19. This helps deepen the pool, and push down talent in the safety market. Good things, man!
  20. Let KC pay out the wazzoo for him. Give me Mike Williams on a prove-it deal, Troy Franklin with a small trade back, then Malachi Coorley with a 2nd round trade back into the early 3rd. Then DT / DE / S til the cows come home.
  21. PRAYING that they do! Come on, you greedy bastards, drive KC to bankruptcy!
  22. Wait for it: The rest of the committee will want out in 3-6 months... I can hear the media barfing that sort of banal gibberish a mile away 🙄
  23. Yeah, at the rate we're going, that's probably a good call. I'm working up some notes that I'll post over there in a bit. I've heard Cephus' name come up in a couple of the reports I've been going through, but I hadn't watched any highlights. Definitely has the height and burst you like to see. A little stiff in the hips. Gives me some Gabe Davis vibes, which--for a late round flier--isn't a negative. I'll have to dig more into him. Thanks for the share!
