I could see them going for Darnold or Cousins. Cousins has always chased money, and at this point in his career, he's been in enough locker rooms to handle the New York circus. Darnold has experience there; he probably still has a bad taste in his mouth, though. I wonder if Love would go for the money, knowing it's likely going to be a terrible situation, at least in the short-term.

The Jets currently have 8 teams ahead of them in the draft order. The Dolphins are outside of the top 10. New England seems to have their QB, already. Basically, nobody in the AFC East is picking a top-of-the-class QB, this year. It's like watching us wither at a .500 or so record for 17 years: Never bad enough to get an answer QB; never good enough to make a squeak in the playoffs. I'm just saying that this is a lovely time to be a Bills fan, and being on the other side of hopelessness is a damn good feeling!

And the answer is both simple and sad: 1) The New Jersey Jests drafted higher than us. 2) The Draft Prognosticators and talking heads like being right. 3) Therefore, the Draft Prognosticators and talking heads pump up the picks they picked, pressing them on the mindscape of everyone who follows football. 4) When these talking progs are wrong, they don't give up; they don't admit they're wrong; these tools laugh in the face of statistics... They just push their turds harder, so we hear more and more about Hall / Wilson / Williams / Gardner, and less and less about our boys. Narrative... That's all it is.

I am begging for a break, myself: A break from the negativity pointed at every Bills move, every draft pick, every Josh Allen intercep... Wait... He hasn't thrown one yet. I'm sorry if it bothers you that I see what's going on out there, and that I'm sensitive to it.

No: They're smart. They're trying to prevent Coleman from having a statistically better season than Worthy, so the talking heads can continue to crow about how Buffalo gave KC the fastest player in NFL Draft history... I hate it...

Oh, I 100% agree. But I also feel like there are talking heads out there who are still pitching the anti-Josh narratives because they thought Wrong Josh would be a HOFer, and JA17 would be a bust. They push these narratives to "make" their mistaken takes on Allen "right"... That's what I hate. I really hope so.

Thanks for confirming that NARRATIVE is a major part of this. I wish more people would see what's going on out there. Narrative has been anti-Allen since a good number of pundits said he would never amount to a hill of beans in the NFL. They aren't letting it go, and they are fighting hard to continue to be "right". That's what I'm pissed about.
