In a league where owners make more money when they win , 75%+ of the players are black, and they are paid millions.... people really and TRULY believe an owner / GM won't hire a coach because of their skin color. It's an insane thought. "Yeah, this coach will help me win the most games and make the most money but ehhh he's a minority, I won't hire him." Let's not forget that 2 black GMs that were hired passed on minority candidates and hired white coaches (Chicago and Minnesota). What's the reasoning there? Chicago literally passed on Jim Caldwell for a guy that was never a head coach. If I'm a minority coach, this infuriates me. I would feel as though I'm being hired because I HAVE to be, not because I'm qualified to be.

Anyone who doesn't fear for the Miami offense is naive. The coach WILL establish a run game. He will figure out how to get guys in space and allow Tua to throw 2-10 yard passes. He will use a lot of misdirection and "deception" with Hill.... This is the same guy that decided to use Deebo as an RB. He's a smart smart guy. I'm not saying they're better than the Bills but man, they're going to be a tough game twice a year.

Which is why I titled it, realistically. But Christian Kirk could help, or we draft a guy. When it comes to speed, that's why I like McKinnon. Great out of the backfield on passing downs and he's explosive between the tackles and outside. He's what we wanted Breida to be.

He's been VERY average. He has good INT numbers from one year but he was WILDLY inconsistent. I lived in Charlotte for a long time and he was absolutely a liability and they wanted him gone. Arrogant, dumb penalties, and selfish.

Is it realistic we can sign him? Can he play with his hand in the dirt? Or would he play the Lorenzo Alexander role?

I want nothing to do with Barkley. He is abysmal. If you've never watched a Giants game, you wouldn't understand and you'd want him because of his pedigree. He does not put his head down and hit the hole. For as gigantic as he is, he runs like he's afraid of contact. He bounces every chance he gets and will never grind out a 1 or 2 yard gain.

Other than our own guys. Obviously, we don't have a ton of cap room so we need to smart about who it is. For me, I'd love to see us go after and sign Jerrick McKinnon. I think a speed back that presents the threat to catch out of the backfield will morph our offense. McKinnon can be our James White that the Patriots had for years. When teams wanted to sit back and protect against Gronk, Moss, etc.... White was the guy for a while (although they had Dion Lewis, etc). I think he's a realistic add that would be worth a look.

They were essentially who I was referring to with that post. Their motion, run set up, schemes, etc are incredibly creative.

I didn’t want to quote all since it was long but … a lot of what confused me was how oddly Diggs was used. He was RARELY over the middle, no drags, dig routes, posts, mesh, cross, slants, etc. we didnt give him the opportunity at YAC. Felt like all of his catches were hitches.

I hope NYG doesn’t lure him away with an insanely high contract.

With word Daboll is gone, I want to reflect on what I think we can improve on schematically in our next offense. For me: 1) Utilization of Diggs: We rarely saw Diggs motion in to the slot, we RARELY saw crossing routes(which blows my mind), and most of his routes seemed to be outs and hitches. 2) Less predictability in the run game: it seemed at though every time we were under center, it was a dive or we knew it was a run. I’d like to see more zones, motions(from FB/ TE), and plays that confuse using WR motions, misdirection. Etc 3) Pushing the ball downfield, attack the 10-15 yard area: With the emergence of Knox, I’d like to see us use him more and him get more targets in the middle of the field. It also seemed as though that we didn’t throw the ball down field as much this year, in my opinion. 4) Gabe Davis.

Chad Hall would be interesting and I’d bet he gets a look. This is basically McDermott and Beans first chance at showing how they hire/ fire coordinators. Will they promote from within? Or do they go get talent.

Ridley and Davis wouldn't play the same position. With Beasley walking and other contracts running out coupled with the increase in cap. We should be fine. To be honest, our OL was VERY improved without Mango and/or Ford in there. Bates proved himself worthy of a shot as did Boettger. I would venture to bet the Bills FO thinks were in a better situation on the OL than most fans do.

I'd be very ok with this. Our offensive line got better when we sat Mango and gave up on Ford and plugged in Boettger/ Bates. I don't think we're drafting OL high. I think we bring in a veteran CB from FA and don't draft one. I would bet on WR or DB. I could see IOL but it would have to be someone that fell.

Ryan Bates has been our best guard the last 2 games. He has been quite the surprise and is playing verrrry well.

He and Zimmer have similar defenses and philosophies. If he does get a job, I'd like to take a long look at Zimmer.

Ahh straight to insults. No you said- he spoke the truth- "that he is an ignorant and selfish jerk" and calling someone a "selfish jerk" is very subjective with little truth. So perhaps if your literary skills were better you'd understand my point I refuted your point about him being selfish in that... He NEVER missed a game, he does what all player do, exercise their rights as players. He felt he wanted more power, so he held out (as many players do). He hasn't been selfish in any way shape or form to the organization. If you believe so, explain what he's done that's out of the ordinary and "selfish." All he's done is win the MVP 2 years in a row.

That's the most hindsight comment I've ever seen. Yes, but we all know that the draft is a literal crapshoot. JJ could have came here and been average then you'd be pounding the table for Diggs. WR are missed SO much in the draft, look at Denver, Raiders, Philly, etc the last few years.
