Diggs Extended 4 more years breaking news per WGR 550
freddyjj replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Remember that Ed was a 1st Rd pick and Bills have option year with him and DT is a low number compared to premier positions like CB, DE, QB, WR, LT. And although Bills may not move Tremaine this year I do believe OBD drafts his replacement. It is pretty late in offseason for a team to fit Tremaine's $12,8mm under their cap - though a team trading foir him could do extension/new deal. We will see. I would take Chad Muma personally. -
Let’s give Antonio Brown some Million Dollar love.

Let’s give Antonio Brown some Million Dollar love @BringBackFergy No and here is why: Pretty sure he likes to pay for his love It all went down hill when he left Pittsburgh And stopped wearing #84 as uniform # Seriously, 34 years old with a total of 16 games played in last 3 years. He is a mental health arrest waiting to happen. Pass. -

If you could have had RJ call one famous Bills play
freddyjj replied to JohnBonhamRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have to believe the Shady TD in the Snow Game vs Indy in 2017 would have been a great call by RJ. "Dashing through the snow, what do you know???? ....Shady's TD wins it in OVVVERRRRRTIMMME!" -
Ok a fact check is in order on this sentence alone. Houston Cougars play in th AAC, not the ACC. BIG difference and non Power 5 conference may be a reason he went so late in the draft. Secondly, freakish speed is 4.25 in the 40. Marquez ran 4.45 or 4.48 40 yd dash at his Pro Day. That is not freaky speed. 20 WRs in this years combine alone ran faster. Remember they call them highlight reels for a reason. Marquez had an injury shortened Sr season and sat out 2017 as an injured redshirt. He spent 5 years at Houston and is already 24. For perspective, he is 1 year older than Gabe Davis. With no meaningful snaps in the NFL. I hope he is working on his KO and PR skills as those might be only ticket to make this roster

I will add to your insights here. Moss for sure could be dealt. Edmunds woiuld be a tough trade to make unless new team knows they can extend to buy down Yr 1 cap hit. As for who they are targeting I agree there may be a CB or WR they feel they must secure. Matches the high cost position theory - stack talent on different contracts to survive loss of a key player in the future (Diggs or White) I believe Cody Ford and Epenesa could also be on the block. Why? OBD re-signed 2 Gs and added another IOL in FA. and we are meeting with a bunch of IOLs in draft process. Not that OBD will take a G high. As for DE, the draft is full of Edge talent and Shaq Lawson > Aj Epenesa imho, so why not deal AJ at this point. Miller, Groot, Boogie and Shaq give them 4 DEs and they can draft another.

if AZ offered him the backup job Fitz would be all over it as home state. With 6 kids at home and a serious injury/surgery in 2021 can't see him returning and living out of a suitcase alone for a year

So my plan to secure CB2 for this year and buy insurance if Tre has recovery delays - sign Mike Hughes FA CB from KC to a one year deal. Was a team mate of Gabe Davis at UCF and was 30th pick in Rd 1 of 2019 NFL draft by Vikes. Had some injury issues in MN and was traded to KC. Had a solid 2021 in KC https://www.si.com/college/ucf/university-of-central-florida-football/bounce-back-mike-hughes Then take a leap on a developmental outside corner rd 3 or 4 in the draft. Tariq Woolen UTSA, Joshua Williams Fayetteville State

Where long before Trump, Covid and cancel culture they held multi theme protest parades every Sunday. Even when Seahawks were playing. Blasphemous!!!

Beasley had three broken ribs last season?
freddyjj replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was injured vs Fins on Halloween. On injury report vs Jags 11/7 game. He played then and vs Jets and Colts. 3 weeks, 14 catches, 70 total yds, 5 YPR and 0 TDS. Only 29 yds after catch in those 3 games or 2 yds per catch, Not surprisingly, Bills lost 2 of those games -
Wow. Some ideas on here are worse than others. Step on up to claim your prize. Isn't it the opposite in the UK? Guilty til proven innocent?

Lol - It does matter. Easier to do concrete forms in an excavation versus building steel frame and having to do steel superstructure then forms for seating etc.

The new stadium will all be built above ground. Adds tremendously to cost and construction timeline. Only the upper deck at Ralph was above ground.

https://theramshuddle.com/topic/kromer-on-the-rams-run-game/ https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/what-aaron-kromer-brings-to-the-bills-is-exactly-what-they-need/ar-AATD4tj Imho Kromer's plan for Bills run game plays huge role here. The 2017 and 2018 Rams ran for almost 4200 yds out of 11 personnel formations. And the 2015-2016 Bills ran for over 5000! With him as OL coach. Both the Rams and Bills ran alot of Wide Zone runs in their run games which requires athletic Olinemen. Granted Tyrod and Goff at QB were limiting factors in passing games. I did like the Rams under center run game as Goff had many Play Action pass opportunities on run downs. So what are the tells so far re Bates and Bills Oline. For one we know they saw Saffold as an upgrade at LG. Secondly OBD signed OJ Howard as a 2nd TE to assisting 12 personnel packages. And they signed Mancz as a versatile C/G backup. Finally they only tendered Bates as a Right of First Refusal level. Bates is Athletic enough to play in Kromer's scheme for sure but a RG also needs some Power run scheme and pass block anchor ability in Kromer's scheme. OBDs hope was to limit their cost at RG (the easiest OL position to fill) to under $3mm in 2022. Chicago likely offered Bates at a higher level. And at this point OBD knows those numbers and needs to decide if they want to counter. My take - As they have the numbers they'd be happy with, the requirements for the RG position in Kromer's scheme and - an internal decision on matching Bates offer- OBD will likely let him go and sign an inexpensive veteran RG to a one year deal and draft a high level prospect to take over next year. OBD likely drafts 2 IOL prospects this year as there will be room on 53 man roster for them.

No as he is a place kicker too. And a poor one at that - 64 ℅ FG kicker last year. What is it the late 1960s or early 1970s? And he has only punted for one year as starter. Maybe Beane should sign the guy who beat him out the two years prior to be our punter? No as was their FG kicker. Punted for one year only

Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
freddyjj replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why trade ahead of those two teams, neither of whom would take a QB? Even Jax at top of Rd 2 doesn't need a QB. Granted, getting a QB low in Rd 1 assures 5th year option.
